About SIMON DURANT
Four generations of my family have lived in Uppingham, although I have lived away for many years, I keep coming home to my favourite English Market town. Year property purchased: 2014 Finished complete renovation in July 2014, very pleased with out come. All main windows now replaced with wooden double glazing, very pleased with out come.
Why SIMON DURANT chose Harborough District
Why this location? We fell in love with the cottage when we saw it in 2011, and fortunately it came up for sale the next year and we successfully bought it. Uppingham has a lot to offer, and is one of the county's finest towns.

Lovely house in a lovely town.
Three friends met up for a walking weekend and the house suited our needs perfectly. The only thing that stopped us giving five stars was the 2 hour parking restriction in the street - okay for unloading , but we got the last two parking spaces quite a walk away.
Thanks for the excellent review, pleased you had a good walking holiday, there are some great walks around Uppingham.
Sorry you had to walk to find a parking space,it is not usually that busy.
For future referance there are 2 free spaces by the opening for the footpath opposite the cottage.
My parents and I stayed at Moss Cottage last summer for a week along with my 4 year old son and our dogs. We had a wonderful time. The cottage was lovely. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed even a bed for the dogs. It was so central and we could walk to the market square in a few minutes. Simon the owner was lovely to deal with and very helpful. We enjoyed every minute of it and I hope to go back and stay here again.
Guest like Nicola and family are always welcome and make everything worthwhile.
I am so pleased they enjoyed Uppingham and the cottage.
I really hope Moss Cottage is available when they want to book again.
My husband and I stayed at "Moss Cottage" for 2 weeks while we vacationed in the UK. We found it was a great base for the day trips we intended to do while we were there. The cottage is so homely and the locals were extremely friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend "Moss Cottage" to my friends & family and would definitely stay there again if I'm ever back in the area :)
Very many thanks for your review, so pleased that you had a good stay at Moss cottage.
