Rocco was at the apartment to greet us and talk us through the apartment. He gave us some great tips on eating places and the local area. A couple of days into our break he even texted me to ensure everything was going well and to ask if we needed anything. What great customer service.
The apartment was well equipped, spacious and extremely clean. The location was perfect with only a 15 minute walk away from the centre of Florence. It was lovely an quiet in the evenings and busy enough during the daytime to ensure an interesting walk into the City centre.
Located by Boboli Gardens was an absolute bonus. What a great way to spend a morning.
To summarise, I would highly recommend this property and hope to return soon.
P. S. Thanks for the bottle of wine on arrival.
The Smith family is what one would always like to have as guests. Kind and smiling even after a problem with the sanitary water. They left the apartment perfectly clean and tidy. I'm glad I met people like them and I hope to be able to host them again in the future.
Beautiful property in great location, with an excellent host.
Rocco is an excellent host and was waiting outside for us when we arrived. He was really helpful and went out of way to ensure we had a great time in Florence.
His apartment is beautiful, feels very spacious and is a very comfortable place to stay. It is great location, an easy walk to the centre of town but lovely and quiet in the evening. It’s close to great cafes and restaurants.
Madam Knight is a very kind person and has been a great plesure to meet her. I hope to see again in the future!!
Little Gem away from the hustle and bustle
The apartment was wonderful had everything you needed and is tastefully furnished the little patio is an added bonus the apartment was very clean and the cleaning products and extra bin bags etc all provided so you didn’t have to rush out to find a shop to buy washing up liquid The bottle of wine was a lovely touch thank you Rocco
Thank you Madame Booth. Has been a plesure to meet you and I hope to see you in the future.
Quite location in Oltrarno
We particularly liked the fact that this property was in the Oltrarno area. BNP bank and great restaurant (Don Fefe) one block over. A variety of buses 2 min walk away to take us wherever needed to go (into the city, Piazzale Michelangelo's, train station). The suite was as advertised and Rocco was very kind and considerate during our stay. The kitchen could have had more dishes, utensils but that was a minor issue. The beds were comfortable and the suite was a cool respite from the August heat.
Thank you for visit us .I hope to see you again in the future..
Rocco was the selling point on this apartment. He was so helpful. I had family that had trouble getting there but they had his number and he was a great asset. The hair dryer was broken and he brought us another one. He also called the parking garage for me because the attendant couldn't speak english. (And he got us a good deal) The beds are very comfortable and you will sleep well. It is very quiet here. There is an opera teacher across the hall and we had some wonderful concerts in the afternoon. If you do bring a car it will be a lot easier for you to get a spot in the parking garage when you first come. We paid 100 euros for 8 days. It costs 18-30/day to park on the street if you can find a spot. The bus is not far but we walked everywhere, from the apartment to the train station is about 30 minute walk. We are in our 60's and in fairly good shape. There is a patio area off the kitchen but we didn't use it much. I appears there are storm drains back there and frequently it had a slight sewer smell. On the next block is a great place to eat, the bakery, hair dresser, pasta store, nearly everything you will need. I would stay here again.
Green area very close to places of historical interest of the city, provided by all utilities. Possibility of parking nearby and free parking in the same street for a fee.
