Ideally situated, the villa is a short walk from the sand dunes, the protected lagoon and the long beautiful Maspalomas beach which stretches along the coast from the nearby Faro lighthouse as well as the cafes and shops of Melonares. It is a stunning private upmarket hacienda style villa with TV/DVD/WiFi/stereo etc, and features an expansive garden (perfect for sunbathing) including its own private solar heated swimming pool with jacuzzi feature, landscapped with bougainvillea, flowers and shrubs. Yet all the modern facilities (restaurants, supermarkets, taxis etc) may be found less than a 5 minute walk. The villa is a 3/4 minute drive from the busy nightlife of the Yumbo, Cita and Kasbah centres in Playa del Ingles as well as close to all the main holiday attractions; Holiday World Fairground, Aqualand, Sioux City, Perla Canaria, Go Karting, Jeep Safaris and Camel tours. The main Maspalomas golf course is a 2 minute stroll from the front door!

The villa is my personal holiday home.

It is available on a tenancy basis for part of the year; and is therefore not simply a holiday rental as such. I am retired from a career in the music business

and have recently completed a postgraduate degree in literature and drama from Kings College, University of London. I have been a regular visitor to Gran Canaria for over 30 years.

The layout of the villa and the facilities such as the privacy of the pool, barbecue, library, sat TV etc made it so easy for us not to even leave the villa..... however the location of the villa was also ideal when we did manage to tear ourselves away from the pool and venture a bit further as all the amenities were within walking distance." Notes on accommodation: In addition to your own private pool, there is a large shared pool at the rear of the property. Air-conditioning is an optional extra since it is really only necessary during June - September. The villa also boasts an extensive library housing over 2000 books, DVDs and CDs available for the use of guests. Outside: Antique rustic dining table with seating for 6 - 12 people. Outside cushion covered sofa bed for relaxing on the patio in the shade - as well as 6 sun loungers for sunbathing by the pool. The private pool is 5m x 3.5m and 1 - 1.5 metres deep with a stepped jacuzzi feature. It is solar panel heated through the winter with temperatures around 22c in Winter. The extra shared pool behind the property is 14m x 8m in size and ranges in depth from 30 centimetres (ideal for infants) to 1.5 metres. It is unheated but this is not necessary between May and November. Utility Room: Top loading washing machine/iron/ ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedlinen and domestic towels included. We recommend you bring your own towels for pool and beach use. Additional cleaning by arrangement. Other: The villa features an extensive shaded terrace with dining table and outdoor sofa at the front of the house. Adjacent to the lounge, kitchen and swimming pool it is perfect for outdoor dining, relaxation and keeping an eye on the pool

very clean well maintained home away from home villa

There's everything you need at the villa in perfect working order. A cooker , Hob, microwave, washing machine, air con, TV, sun beds, swimming pool... plenty of cups, plates bowls, glasses for your needs, with a large fridge freezer, unlike many other villas.

Compared to all the other villas ive stayed in, in Maspalomas this was by far the cleanest and most well presented with all the facilities advertised there and working. It is a very good size for 6 people, and we were more than comfortable there. The pool is lovely, just the right temperature and well maintained by a very thorough pool guy 2 days a week. He takes his time to ensure he's cleaned both the pool and the gardens on every visit and is really polite.

We were given a warm greeting to the villa despite a very late night arrival, and she was available for assistance throughout the duration of our stay.

I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone wanting a 4-6 person villa in central Maspalomas, excellent value for money. Thank you to the host.

The villa was very nicely presented, in a quiet location, but near all the usual amenities

We stayed at Villa Paraiso for a week and had a very relaxing break. Bev picked us up from the airport and dropped us back at the end of the week, which meant we had no stresses trying to find the place. She also explained the villa procedures to us, which are also all written down clearly in the information pack in the lounge. The pool was great to cool off in, and we all had great fun playing volleyball with the inflatable net and ball - a great idea. It was also nice to have a bigger, communal pool to swim in, which was also very quiet. We also liked the pretty garden and the lemon and orange trees made it feel very exotic to us! We ate out a bit - it's a nice 15 - 20 minute walk to the restaurants by the beach, and we went to the nearby El Nublo restaurant, which was recommended by previous guests. This was well worth it, as the staff were very friendly and attentive and gave us numerous freebies, such as a free jug of sangria!

We had a day trip to the mountains, which was organised by Bev and Santi, our (fortunately!) very experienced driver. This was lovely, as it felt like being shown around by two friends, and we had a lot of fun. Bev even stopped at a shopping centre for us on the way back, so we could pick up some pressies for people back home.

Altogether our stay was very relaxing, the villa was well supplied with kitchen utensils and facilities, and we would easily return again.

Perfection

Lost count now on number of visits to the island but every time we stay at the villa the holiday is very special. Comfortable, quiet and spacious for all our friends and guests.

The private pool and garden is a great place to unwind and the terrace is great for entertaining.

The management team make renting this home from home so easy.

Beautiful Hacienda style villa

This beautiful Hacienda style villa is set in a quiet location, benefitting from a lovely private garden and pool.

The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay and really feels like home.

The beach is 15-20 min walk away and has gorgeous beach side restaurants, bars and shops. There are also some more lovely restaurants and bars just 5 minutes away with a well stocked supermarket.

This is our 2nd visit to the villa and we will definitely be returning. We cannot fault it at all ❤️

Did the job for October sun

The villa is in the middle of a strange place and walk five minutes up the road to the local supermarket and you will see the infrastructure is beginning to crumble. The mini supermarket opposite stocks a small range of things but don't go in there with kids as the adult section has a full range! I had forgotten about the 400 euros needed to be provided to the lady who looks after the villa upon arrival as this was not mentioned again after I had booked over six months before. This didn't start the holiday well. Maspolomas seafront has some nice restaurants which is about 20mins on foot and the tapas place through the alley opposite the villa was also good. The villa could have been a little cleaner and charging for the use or not of the air conditioning seems ridiculous and most of the charges should just be added to the hire costs when first booking. I can only speculate why this is not done! The water park was great and I would recommend this for families

I was sorry to see some of your reactions.You say the villa is in a 'strange area' - it is in fact situated on a quiet palm tree lined avenue (in Campo International) in the very centre and heart of Maspalomas with all major holiday amenities situated very close by and roughly equidistant. This affords a little peace and isolation from the noisier commercialized parts of the different holiday zones, especially late at night, and yet they too remain easily accessible if required.. I am also sorry that you had forgotten the full details of our deposit rebate arrangements which you had signed off on, and which were highlighted when you booked the villa. We do try our absolute best in all our advance correspondence, advertising and literature to ensure all our guests are fully aware of everything in advance.

Final Clean & Laundry £150

BASIC RENTAL AND OVERHEADS FEES INCLUDED IN FINAL PRICE QUOTED

The inclusive rental price comprises two elements – the Basic Rental Price and a one off fee for the Final Clean and Laundry at the end of your stay (£150). All other services are included in the weekly rental price; Water and Electricity (£64 pw), Community Charges, Rates and Insurance (£32 pw), Security System and WiFi (£31 pw) , Garden and Pool Maintenance and cleaning (£73 pw).

There are no other mandatory fees although air conditioning is an optional extra available for €50 per week or €80 per fortnight.

CHANGE-OVER

Saturday - generally - prices quoted cover up to 6 people commencing on Saturday. Bookings run for 7 or 14 days or longer (negotiable). We can occasionally offer alternative changeover days.

FULLY REFUNDABLE DAMAGE DEPOSIT

We do however also ask for a damage deposit of €150 payable in cash on arrival. This deposit is returned to you in full immediately after your stay and in any case no later than 2 weeks after you have vacated the villa - providing no serious damage has occurred to the villa or its fixtures and fittings.

BOOKINGS MADE PRIOR TO JUNE 11th 2018

For all bookings made prior to June 11th 2018 the charges for the Final Clean and utilities will still be charged separately and deducted from your deposit of €400 payable in cash on arrival. Your original offer will have quoted a slightly lower basic rental charge to compensate for this. For the avoidance of any doubt the original offer letter which you received when booking remains completely valid stating the actual price and terms of your rental. Overall, the prices are the same as those quoted in our new system .

  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
