Chalet in Caswell, Swansea, Gower Peninsula, Wales - short walk from sandy beach and stunning coastal walks
About Mark Sheehan
We spent many happy weekends at Beachcombers Rest with the children during school holidays and summer weekends. However the children have now flown the nest and living in Swansea ourselves found the chalet was underused which given it's location was a real shame. This is now our fifth year of letting and we use the income generated to maintain the chalet and make improvements year on year. We hope that those who chose to stay will go home with similar happy memories to those that we have. If you have any questions about the chalet or the area please do not hesitate to contact us. Why Mark Sheehan chose Newton
Caswell Bay is is such a beautiful bay with a sandy beach and lots of small rock pools. Children love it and those who want a more secluded spot can walk around the bay and find a quiet spot to sun bathe and read.

A great place to stay
All went without hitch. Accommodation excellent. Surroundings quiet, at least in July. A good base for tiring the Gower. Highly recommended.
It was great staying in the property...ideal location, just a very short walk from the beach. Mark had excellent communication and I would highly recommend any guests staying.
Thank you for your comments, you certainly left some glorious weather behind with you and we hope that you enjoyed your next few days in Cardiff
My husband and I enjoyed our stay- the owners went above and beyond making us feel welcome. Great location near a beautiful beach, and close to shopping and other activities. Bed very comfortable and the housing manual very comprehensive allowing us to settle in quickly and easily. Would definitely stay here again.

Very good property, a short walk to a good, clean sandy beach. A short drive (5 minutes or so) to local amenities, i.e. shops, pub, garage (which sadly I needed), and petrol station. Plenty of woodland walks nearby as well. Surprised how good Swansea is. Lovely marina, good shops, plenty of parking.
Couldn't want for anything else
The chalet was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The little extras made all the difference. The thoughtfulness of the owners was much appreciated. Thank you foe a very enjoyable stay. We will be back.
