About Andrew Allard
We have been visiting this part of France for several years with our children. We could not find the house we wanted to buy so decided to build our own! It was amazing luck finding this peaceful plot with wonderful views with the feeling of being well and truly in the countryside yet being able to walk in the morning to the local boulangerie. We also love the nearby sandy beaches and are still exploring the area and finding new beaches and sights to visit.
Why Andrew Allard chose Neffiès
This is a truly exceptional villa. The location up on a gentle hillside within the rolling French countryside feels like you are are truly away from it all but in fact close to all modern amenities including a large well stocked supermarket. Nearby just a short walk away in a lovely little village you have ready access to a boulangerie, restaurants and bar and local wine tasting allowing you to have a truly French holiday.
What makes this Villa unique
The location of this villa and all its many facilities including a lovely pool allows you to have a truly restful holiday and you then also have ready access to glorious countryside, beaches and many traditional local French villages and towns to explore at your own leisure. The views from the villa are truly exceptional and much admired by all our guests.

Superb villa with amazing space and brilliant view
We have stayed in 3 properties in Neffies and this is by far and away the best and think that the pictures don't really do the villa justice. It is modern, clean and spacious and had everything a family of 5 would need for a 2 week stay.
The kitchen and dining area are both well equipped and there is plenty of space to eat inside or out. The bedrooms and bathrooms are also great and everything worked as it should during our stay.
The pool is a perfect size and immaculately maintained.
Everything worked smoothly from the moment we contacted owner Andrew and service could not have been better.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in re-booking this villa again or recommending to friends and family.

Better than the description on the net.
Weather was mixed - but frightful in Northern France. Villa is an excellent base to explore from.
Excellent property - would highly recommend to anybody
This is the first time I've independently booked a villa and I was delighted - the villa exceeded my expectations. Great location, on the edge of a village with a beautiful view over the surrounding countryside. Beautifully designed, perfectly proportioned rooms, extremely comfortable, fitted with everything you need for a comfortable hassle free holiday. Everything worked perfectly and there was plenty of everything .... the owners had really thought it through - designed for them and perfectly equipped for guests. If I ever built a place in the south of France, I'd model it on this. I'll be recommending it to friends.
Perfect Holiday Villa
We have been holidaying in the South of France for many years and I can honestly say that this is the best villa we have stayed in. Clean and well equipped inside, the most beautiful view over vineyards from the terrace (the photos don't do it justice) and Neffies is a surprisingly picturesque and very friendly village.
The village has a very good fine dining restaurant 'Restaurant Le Very'table' and an informal brasserie serving fixed Menu du Jour with a pretty terrace. It is also home to probably the smallest boulangerie in France, providing excellent bread and friendly service.
Our children (aged 7, 7 and 10) loved the pool, the roman steps always a bonus, and the boules area was a pleasant surprise.
If you are looking for a relaxing, comfortable villa in a lovely area this one is pretty much perfect.
Special interest holidays:
The villa is just over 2 hours from the French Pyrenees and 3 hours from Andorra. The villa is not for rent during the winter at present but please contact the owner if interested in renting out of season.

Pezenas is an attractive historic town associated with Moliere, totally unspoiled with narrow streets to explore. There are many other places of interest to visit such as Beziers, Roquebrun, St Guilhem le Desert, the Lac du Salagou and the Pont Du Gard to name just a few.
The centre of Neffies at a short walking distance has a popular cafe/bar and also a gourmet restaurant together with a small shop and a boulangerie. There are fine local wineries for "degustation" (wine tasting). Roujan 3 kms away has a large supermarket, pharmacy and petrol station. Nearby Pezenas has a wide choice of colourful events and festivals and a Saturday market. Beziers - a historic town just 20 minutes away has the lovely tree lined boulevard Allee Paul Riquet, the Saint Nazaire cathedral high up on hill and the engineering feat -"les ecluses" a series of cascading locks. The Canal du Midi is easily accessible at Beziers, Portiragnes and Agde – which is ideal for walking along the tow paths, cycling or fishing, or hiring a boat for a day trip. Carcassonne, the fortified city is around 1 hour 30 mins away. The village of Roquebrun and the Orb valley (40 mins away) has a sandy beach by the river where you can hire canoes. St Guilhem le Desert – is a hill top, stone, Cathar village with charming shops, restaurants and cafes. Sete at the foot of Mount St. Clair, is criss-crossed by canals and bridges and is referred to as the Venice of Languedoc. The ‘Joutes de Sète' is a jousting tournament from boats which takes place in the summer. Around 1 hr and 50 minutes away is the impressive Pont du Gard a Roman aqueduct which is over 2000 years old built to carry water from Uzès to Nîmes. Ancient Nimes has a well preserved Roman amphitheatre with music performances in the summer and La Maison Carre, an intact Roman temple from the 4th century BC. Close to Nimes is the charming medieval city of Uzes with beautiful architecture, old facades, fountains and shaded squares with outdoor cafes. The Mediterranean coastline is within 25 minutes away from the villa with endless sandy beaches, water sports, boat trips, marinas and fishing harbours and plentiful water front cafes and restaurants.
