The cottage sleeps up to six (3 bedrooms). The cottage has super fast Wi-Fi broadband (BT infinity) and a nespresso coffee machine - bring your favourite flavour of capsules. Situated just off Harbour Street in the heart of Whitstable. A three minute stroll from shops, restaurants, beach and the harbour, including Whitstable's famous fish market. The town has a wealth of independent shops and boutiques and was recently given an award for 'best home town' in the UK for its diversity of shopping.

Great place and so close to everything Very comfortable house with everything you would need.

Well equipped property with a great kitchen. Cosy and clean throughout. The location is seconds from the high street and a very short walk from the seafront and bars and restaurants. Would definitely come again.

This is the second house I have been to belonging to Matt Langford, this was the reason I chose his over others in the area. The house is fab fully equipped, I love the decor of the houses and the beds are truly comfortable with good quality bed linen I have stayed in some awful houses with the cheapest mattresses and bed linen when you go away to a holiday let you want it to be like home and this house is. Will be back !!

There is very pleasant walking nearby with coastal walks and woodland very close.


Whitstable beach is a 2 minute walk away and you can walk from there on to Tankerton beach and beyond in one direction and to seasalter beach and beyond in the other.


Whitstable has a direct fast train service from London which takes just over an hour, there are services from 4 London train stations including Victoria and St. Pancras international.

Travelling to Whitstable by road is also easy with the M2 motorway leaving you only moments away from the town.

The M20 motorway takes you easily to London Gatwick Airport in 1 hour and 30 minutes.


The towns of Tankerton and Seasalter are close by and the City of Canterbury is 6 miles - only 15 minutes by car.

The cancelation policy:

The deposit for your stay in payable upon confirmation of booking and the balance is due eight weeks before the booking commences. If you find it necessary to cancel your booking before the balance payment is due (8weeks) then I will refund your deposit minus a handling fee of £75. If the booking is cancelled after the balance payment is due then all monies will be forfeited unless I can find replacement guests for the dates of the booking, if a replacement can be found then I will refund the cost of the booking minus the deposit and a handling fee of £75.

Booking Notes:
When a booking is arranged the owner will send out a letter of confirmation including details of payment and details for arrival and collection of keys.

A cautionary deposit of £150 may be applied in case of damage to the property.

Changeover Day:
The cottage is usually available from 4pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the morning of departure - sometimes these restrictions can be relaxed on request.

Notes on prices:
Prices are as shown - however will vary according to seasonal period.
Christmas/Easter are all charged at high season rates.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
