Traditional studio apartment with sensational views of the sea and coastline; if you like waking to the sound of the Atlantic Ocean, this is the place for you. Located in beach resort of San Marcos which is 3 KM from the large market town of Icod de la Vinos and only 20 KM from the large resort of Puerto De La Cruz.

As mentioned we love the area, but the apartment is very special because of its convenience and breath taking views from the balcony (un-interupted Ocean views and down the stunning coastline).

Its a 5 min walk (down!) to the beach, bars and restaurants. There is a bus stop near to the apartment block and the buses pass every hour down to the beach or up to the local town of Icod, There is also a well stocked small supermarket around a 2 minutes walk from the apartment.

Why Christian Evans chose Icod de los Vinos

My parents discovered San Marcos and liked it so much, that they decided to live there when they retired. It has been like a second home to me and my family, so it did not take long to decide to buy in San Marcos. We have always found the area a little quieter and more Canarian than the South of the Island, which also means its a lot cheaper to eat and shop. Also, the local people are very friendly and helpful.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment has been recently redecorated and new balcony doors installed. There is the added convenience of a washing machine. It also has its own WIFI and a new 26" smart tv, which has YouTube, Netflix etc

It is a nice apartment with a manificent view on the sea. You can go to bed with the sound of the waves and in the morning the first you hear is also the sound of the waves. The apartment is well equipted with all you need and if you have some questions the owner answers quickly and his agent helps if necessary. We have enjoyed our holidays here very much and we will come back another time.

Lovely San Marcos.

The property has an amazing view and is very good value for money. Lovely place to stay for a couple. San Marcos is quiet and the ideal place to chill but also ideally situated for holiday activities or touring the island.

John Lee the property agent is a lovely man: especial thanks John for rescuing us when we locked ourselves out of the property. Thanks also for the grocery supplies left for us on the first day.

excellent stay

We stayed for 5 weeks. This apartment is excellet, suitable for 2 people, but can host up to 4 people. We had everything we needed -- beach, restaurants, shop, swimming pool, several places for walking or running. We are planning to go back. Communication was very good, without any problems. The agent helped us with everything. I would recommend to everyone who wants to have calm holidays.

Dejligt sted, god udsigt, skønt område og søde naboer. Der bor flere danskere i ejendommen,

5 min. til Playa San Macos og flere gode restauranter i gå afstand. Godt udgangspunkt for besøg på øen.

Angenehmer und entspannter vier wöchentlicher Aufenthalt.

Hallo Christian, herzlichen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt in Ihrem Apartment Monis.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Immer frische Meeresluft, Meeresrauschen Tag und Nacht. Freie Sicht von dem Balkon. Toller, nicht überlaufener Strand doch - Vorsicht - bei starkem Wellengang. Die Wohnung beinhaltet alles, was man zum Leben braucht.

Besonders gut war die direkte Verbindung über WhatsApp, so konnten aufkommende Fragen schnell und unkompliziert gelöst werden. Den Strand San Marcos erreicht man fußläufig in wenigen Minuten.

Es gibt eine stündliche Busverbindung von der Wohnung zum Strand San Marcos und Icod so können die Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs auch ohne Mietwagen beschafft werden.

Special interest holidays:

Rambling is popular on Tenerife with its variety of flora, scenery (montane desert where Planet of the Apes was filmed) and wonderful sea views.


The studio overlooks the coast, which has sand and shingle and is good for sunbathing, swimming and snorkelling. A variety of bars and restaurants surround the beach which is 5 mins away. There is also surfing available at Playa Soccoro, which is a 20 min drive away.


Tenerife Sur has direct flights from UK and is about 80 minutes away.

Tenerife Norte is about 40 minutes away, with services from mainland Spain.

At both airports car hire is available, taxis can be arranged and there is a local bus service.


Icod de los Vinos is 3kms, Puerto de la Cruz, large resort, is 25kms, the capital Santa Cruz is 60kms away, Los Gigantes 50kms and Los Christianos is 90kms away.

From the airport head North for Santa cruz, before Santa cruz (after 30-40 mins) take the exit Nord (north) at Santa maria del mar and head for the North airport and Puerto de la cruz, then follow signs for Icod and then exit for Playa San Marcos (80 mins) Follow the winding road down the hill past the apartment block called Lourdes on your left( where there is a good little supermarket) after next bend Monis is on the right and the apartment is on the entrance level to the right.
