Plenty of space for sun bathing and out side dining. Private parking available. Large shared swimming pool. Seven mins walk to blue flag beach and tavernas. Near to bakers, chemist and supermarkets and ATM. Plenty of choice.

Why mrs lynne kasper chose

We love Almyrida because of the fantastic facilities in the area. There are some beautiful beeches and a great range of restaurants and bars. The area is easily accessible from Chania airport which is half an hour drive away. Heraklion airport is also available and is approximately one and a half hours drive away.

What makes this house unique

The property is just ten minuets walk to the fabulous blue flag beach. Due to its location,

Perfect holiday

As the title suggests, we had the perfect holiday in this accommodation. Spacious, clean and modern with everything you could possibly need, plus welcome extras and homely touches. Private garden with furniture a huge plus and much used! Clean pool area with lovely views and we often had it to ourselves. Very short walk into Almyrida with a great selection of eating places overlooking the sea, good shops and lovely beaches which were very safe, and some days had good waves. Transfers from airport with Charlie removed the stress of arriving in an unfamiliar place, and as a resident of Crete he was able to provide very useful information and tips for making the most of our short time there.

Thanks Lynne and Chris for a brilliant stay, we and our teenage girls were reluctant to come home!

Coast/Beach:

Almyrida blue flag beach ideal with its pretty picturesque coves for snorkelling. Safe and clean for children. The more active holiday maker may wish to make use of the windsurfing or other boating persuades. All just ten mins walk from the house.

Travel:

The nearest air port is Chania approximately 40 mins drive to Almyrida. Heraklion air port is approximately one hour and forty mins drive. Car hire is available from the main companies at both airports or locally in Almyrida with Flisvos or Auto club. The port of Suda is approximately half an hour drive.

Distances:

Kalives is approximately ten minuets drive it has a lovely beach and many restaurants, bars. Chania is approximately half an hour drive. You will find many places of interest, museums, and beautiful historic churches. A large selection of boat trips are available including the glass bottom boat from the Vanitian harbour area. Many fabulous restaurants, tourist and designer shops are available. For a different experience try the old town with its cobbled lanes with leather goods, linens.

Further Details:

Local supermarkets in village. Bakery, pharmacy, ATM. Plenty of restaurants, tavernas and bars all within walking distance.
