The Beehouse is a beautifully presented three bedroom holiday house located just a short drive from the historic burgh of St Andrews, famous for its world class golf courses and stunning beaches. The property forms part of a recently converted steading building adjacent to the owners' home; with three double bedrooms (one downstairs) and three bathrooms it is ideal for families, golfers and couples alike. The house was completed in August 2012 and retains many original features including a quirky backdrop to the woodburning stove in the living room; recessed stone 'beeboles' where old-fashioned straw beehives were over-wintered. The Beehouse enjoys breathtaking south-facing views across arable farmland and woodland and is in a very peaceful private location. There is a patio area accessed from the open plan living/dining/kitchen area and an area of garden for use of guests. Well behaved pets are welcome by arrangement with the owners and at a nominal fee of £20 per pet. Please note that short lets of a minimum of 3 nights are welcome and please contact the owner for correct quote for 4,5&6 night stays

About Elizabeth Logan
Guy & Elizabeth Logan are owners of The Beehouse, and live in Dairsie Manse which is just adjacent with our two sons; Tom (14yrs) and Bruce (11yrs), our Labrador Tess (3 yrs) and cat Milo (6 yrs). We bought Dairsie Manse 11 years ago and fully renovated the 200 year old Georgian property to form a wonderful family home. In 2012 we developed the steading building which was a set of 'outbuildings' used to service the Manse in its day; coach house, wash room, stables, cattle stalls & hayloft. The Beehouse forms part of this conversion. Guy is from Fife, Elizabeth is a newcomer (of 20 years) from London, Sydney & USA. Both boys were born here.
Elizabeth Logan purchased this House in 2006
Why Elizabeth Logan chose Cupar
We bought our property here for the excellent quality of life, beautiful views & peace & tranquility as well as close proximity to St Andrews & the sea.

Beautiful, perfect for our stay.
We chose this house for its proximity to where me parents live. The pictures don't quite do it justice - the downstairs with the wood burning stove and the bee boles is filled with light as there are windows on all sides. The furnishings are top notch, the kitchen is well-stocked and the bathrooms have been finished to a very high standard. The views are beautiful.
Thank you dear Beehousers ! It was lovely to meet you all & please do come again soon x
SWEET AS A POT OF HONEY!
Everything about the Beehouse was perfect from the say we arrived until we had to sadly leave. It was like coming home to your favorite place. Everyone enjoyed the place. The host family were very pleasant and having the lovely "tess" who came in every now and then for a cuddle or a bisquit was an added bonus. We will definitely be back on our next holiday. The lovely cottage ticks all the boxes for our family.
Fantastic, relaxing, beautiful house. Recommend very highly!
Wonderful setting in countryside. Minutes from Cupar and St. Andrews. Owner was very helpful and charming. House is very clean and modern! A definite place to stay in Fife!
Thanks Randy and Susan
You were a pleasure to host and I do hope to welcome you back to The Beehouse someday

The Beehouse - Perfect in every way.
We had an excellent weeks stay at The Beehouse. The house was very spacious and accommodated the six of us very comfortably. It was particularly nice to be able to take our dog with us. The views were outstanding. Elizabeth was a lovely host and was extremely helpful. This will become our rental of choice when visiting the beautiful East Neuk of Fife so much so that we have already rebooked for next year!
Fabulous home located between St Andrew's and Cupar. Perfect for couples/families traveling together
We just returned from a 13 night stay at The Bee House with fabulous hosts, Elizabeth and Guy. The house was everything and more that we were dreaming of, complete with 3 bedrooms with super king beds and lovely bathrooms. The bedding was so comfortable that my husband wants to buy it for our homes in the US!!! Cooking facilities are perfect for making daily breakfasts and great dinners, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you will need.
It is located close by major attractions and we were able to drive daily to visit the surrounding areas as well as wonderful restaurants...some of which were recommended by our hosts. The house is located in a peaceful area which allows for great walks in every direction.
The best part of this stay was Elizabeth and her lovely family who helped to make us feel right at home and helped us with our every need. She is an exceptional host and we already have recommended this location to our friends. I cannot say enough about how welcome we felt and how much we loved this stay. We will be back!
