Quaint cottage in Trefin was all we needed
Adrian was very welcoming and helpful. Cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Very rainy so a clothes dryer would be useful but we got by using the heaters. Stairs to bedrooms could be an issue for anyone with mobility problems. Electricity cost £15 for the 3 days, but heaters were used and the cottage will still be the cheapest self-catering accommodation we have booked for the month we will spend in the UK. Wifi worked well both up and down.
very clean and homely
lovely clean cottage perfect for exploring the lovely country side,a little old fashioned ,but this adds to the quaintness.
So glad our guests found were happy with the cottage.
Excellent value for money
An old house, bedrooms smelt slightly of damp. Took some smelly candles which did the job. Was very clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money.
So glad our guests were happy with the cottage and planning a return visit.
Was more than expected
WOuld stay again, without a doubt
Thank you for your kind review,
And also for booking for a second time.
Very well located for walks & sights. Quaint dated cottage, like stepping back in times to the 70’s but totally functional with all essential needs. Our only regret is we were unable to stay longer.
So glad our guests had a nice holiday,
And were happy with the cottage,
Ideal cottage for short breaks in peaceful village location within short walk of the coast.
We were welcomed by Adrian who showed us around the cottage and explained how everything worked.Adrian & Jean live in the adjoining cottage so were on hand if needed. We really enjoyed our stay, and though it was mid January managed a number of walks along the regions impressive coastline. Lots of places to visit nearby and can recommend the food and service at the 'Sloop Inn' in Porthgain just a couple of miles away.
Looking forward to making a return visit perhaps in the spring,or October when the Seals and their pups are in residence in the rocky bays.
So glad to know our guests were happy in our cottage,
