Our superb christmas break
Our first family Christmas reunion for 7 years was made perfect by this magnificent cottage which has absolutely everything. Accommodating 5 adults and 3 children with ease the owners had gone to the trouble of providing a huge xmas tree and there were fairy lights in abundance. We were welcomed on arrival with a log fire roaring away in one of the lounges. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who were available if and when required and we would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage.
We are pleased our guests had an enjoyable and memorable time.
Beautiful and spacious house which full of everything you might need.
We found the owners very accommodating and helpful. They've put a lot of thought into supplying the house with everything we needed for a comfy stay especially when it came to the kids. From the lovely dwarf hot water bottle to the large number of toys for them to play with. There was even a large box full of lego and another of cars which kept our boys very happy until we were ready to go out. There were even outdoor toys for them.
I would recommend this house.
Brilliant accommodation with a lovely garden which suited our needs of a family meeting up from around the country.
Plenty of space for us all (6 adults & 2 children).
It is an idea location to discover the many local attractions or explore the moors.
Lovely owners who are really friendly and accommodating.
Highly recommended - we have already booked for next year.
A fabulous cottage in beautiful location
Needed a place to get away from all the stresses of day to day life and we found it here. The cottage was big enough for 7 adults without feeling on top of each other. It was rustic and cosy and had everything catered for in mod cons. The owners were lovely friendly and very approachable.
First family holiday in over 30 years great time had by all just ashame they are booked for Christmas or we would be back for another visit.
We always like to greet out guest personally. We aim to give them a memorable experience.
Great place to stay
7 adults and one child over Christmas, we all had a marvellous time.Fire was lit and Christmas tree up on our arrival. Very cosy with two lounges with wood burners, excellently equipped kitchen and plenty of room for everyone at the dining table. Excellent pub within short walking distance and very friendly hosts. Couldn't be better.
We stayed here over the new year period with some friends - 4 adults and 3 children. The cottage is beautiful and has everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. 2 lounges, both with log burners. Lovely big dining room, very well equipped kitchen, and a conservatory with enough space for everyone to put their feet up. The owners are the best hosts I have ever met - from lending wet weather clothes, putting childrens bedding on the beds to make them feel more at home, letting us set off some fireworks to celebrate new year, providing all the logs etc for the fire, happy to explain walks and the surrounding area etc etc. The icing on the cake was they offered for us to stay another night free if we could (and we so wish we could have taken them up on the offer!!!).
Great area too - pub 50m down the road, 5 miles to the nearest supermarket and lovely walks which have everything. I will be back to the cottage as soon as I can.
