Hello, I am a live-aboard yachtsman - much more of the live-aboard than the yachtsman these days - and have lived in Corralejo for about the last four years. Why Chris chose Corralejo
I bought a property in Corralejo because I love the area, I bought THIS one because it has a sort of unique location. It is not on an enormous tourist complex and further benefits from having no neighbour above nor to one side making it a quiet place to live whilst still being close enough to Corralejo to enjoy it's err amenities!Having bought the property I re-plumbed it , changed some electrics, put in a proper shower and spent a lot of money in Ikea leaving it as though I was going to live there myself.
What makes this Apartment unique
The apartments have a great pool which was completely relined and updated in Summer 2012. Corralejo centre is a short (downhill!) stroll away. It's a great retreat.

Lovely little apartment on nice quiet complex
This apartment is set up and decorated in a lovely way. Chris was great before we arrived with clear instructions for finding the apartment and great while we were there too checking all was going well.
The apartment is in a great location and pretty much has its own private pool on the complex as no one seemed to use it.
We highly recommend this apartment and we will be back sooner rather than later
Lovely clean and well equipped apartment
on arrival the owner Chris made an effort to come and say hello and answer any questions we had. He also supplied wine and beer. The apartment is situated on a nice quite residential complex which was perfect for us. A twenty five minute walk takes you to the centre of town. If we return to fuerteventura then we would definitely use this apartment again. Mark & Anne
Just returned from a months stay with my 8 year old daughter.
Apartment is located within walking distance to shopping centre, bus stop and beach.
Taxis are also very cheap if you don't fancy a walk and are readily available.
The neighbours are all lovely and very friendly.
The apartment itself was all new, very well maintained and spotless.
Everything you need is there including excellent quality towels and a perfect hairdryer!
The pool is also spotlessly clean and we often had it to ourselves in peak season.
Chris the owner is a wonderful person, he made us feel very at home and was always available if we needed anything at all as he lives very locally and is kind, honest and very knowledgeable!

A well appointed apartment
Chris's apartment is well appointed with decent kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom has good storage and the comfortable double bed ensures a decent nights sleep. The washing machine was a useful addition as was the decent wifi. Outside the patio caught the later afternoon sun and was perfect for a drink or dinner.
Although you're towards the edge of town the nearest beach is a few minutes away and the nearest bus stop also. Being in a more residential development means little late night noise and, should you choose to stay on the development all day in the week the pool is pretty much your own. The hire car was easy to park on a side street and there are plenty of excellent supermarkets within the town. HiperDino is closest at the shopping centre by the Guardia Civil but we preferred the Spar opposite the bus station on the other side of town. Better fresh fish etc.
Being on the edge of town meant easy access to the dunes either further south or towards El Cotillo with the lagoons. Also worth a mention is the French bakery at Lajares for great bread, cakes and coffee. El Marisco in El Cotillo for a decent meal of fish and seafood and La Jaira de Demian in Puerto Rosario for a great dining experience.
Lovely apartment. Very clean. Everything you need for self catering. Chris very helpful. Arranged for someone too pick us up from airport. Chris called round too see everything was OK. Lovely apartment, based in a residential complex. Chris the owner, was extremely helpful and accommodating. Apartment furnished to a high standard, spotlessly clean, and had everything you need for a holiday. Great wifi connection, and satellite tv, which included sky sports to my husbands delight! Pool area sparkling and bearing in mind we were there peak season, had it to ourselves the majority of the time. Neighbours were lovely, and we enjoyed talking to them on a daily basis. Walking distance to shops, beach and bars. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend. Thanks for the beer in fridge and wine for when we arrived!! 😀
The coast and nearest beaches are no more than 10 minutes walk away and following the coast north leads to Corralejo and more of the sandy beaches and coves for which Corralejo is known. There is the full gamut of water based activities in this popular beach resort, surfing, snorkelling, sailing, wind-surfing, kite-surfing, kayaks, paddle boarding, fly boarding, scuba, jet-ski's, etc.
The National Park and its beautiful coast-line and sand-dunes starts just over the road!
Within 10 minutes walk there are beaches, bars, supermarkets, tennis courts, and a squash court. The attractions right in the heart of Corralejo are a comfortable 20 mins walk away.
The nearest airport (Fuerteventura) is about 40 mins drive away. A hire car is always a good option for checking out the island but transfers to and from the apartment can be arranged if necessary.
Corralejo is a popular resort and contains most of the services you would expect; bars, banks, restaurants, shops, garages, live music. A booming tourist industry has provoked the development of many sports and ancillary services, tennis and squash courts, a water park (Baku) is about 15 mins walk, and both there and at the nearby Campanario Shopping Centre (10 mins walk) there are twice weekly markets.
The Campanario Shopping Centre is colourful and popular with about 30 shops a couple of bars and a good supermarket.
