Cottage with amazing views, ideal for 2

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ty Coch annex. It was very comfortable and perfect for a couple wanting a quiet holiday. The views over Snowdon and Llyn Padarn were spectacular. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and the kitchen was especially large and well equipped. The location is perfect for Snowdon, the Glyders, Lake Ogwen, the Llanberis railway, slate quarry, copper mine etc. Conwy and Llandudno are about 30 minutes’ drive.

Great Location, perfect setting for a couples break.

  • 4 of 5

On arrival the reverse up the drive can be challenging, but with the directions given and pre warning from the owners. Wasn't much of a problem at all. I drive a SUV.

Initial thoughts were quiet, great location and bigger than I thought from the pictures. The layout of the place works well and so long as you don't mind banging your head (I'm 6'2'') then even the bedroom upstairs is great. (gives it character :) )

Very clean and well stocked, we decided to cook and eat in and wasn't left wanting for anything. Local shops are close by but if we had known there was a fridge and freezer we would of came prepared (will be doing next time)

I would recommend this place to any couple wanting to get away and we took our dogs and there was room for a big create for them to sleep in (we have 2 border collie's). Will definitely be returning, just after the summer holidays ;)
