Hidden gem

We were absolutely delighted with our discovery of this amazing cottage in a beautiful setting. We just cannot get over our luck, the property truly exceeded all expectations. The elegant sitting room with very tasteful furnishings and decor, the snug, the spacious dining kitchen and the master bedroom make the accommodation welcoming and comfortable. Good location for sightseeing. Highly recommended.

Just had the most wonderful w/end here celebrating my Mum's 80th. Everyone was blown away by the cottage. Plenty of room to party !! So glad I chose Mill Cottage.😊. Left my two cook books there though obviously will have to return - soon.

Would have given 5* but a bit disappointed in lack of kitchen equipment !

Absolutely Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

I have rented in a lot of holiday cottages over the last 25 years both in the UK and in France and this wonderful property has got to be the best. When you first arrive you are blown away by the beauty of the place. Then when you enter and start exploring the house you are wowed by the size and quality of the interior.

And as for the outside? Heaven - it's so peaceful, relaxing and very pretty. Waking up and looking out over the gorgeous garden and pond/lake every morning was perfect. We spent a week in paradise and so wish it was longer.

Shropshire itself is stunning too. Lots of great walking and fabulous scenery, e.g. the Long Mynd, Carding Mill Valley. The excellent West Midlands Safari Park is only 50 minutes away too.

I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. Can't wait to go back.
