Safety hazard, not well kept and neglected, dirty, nice lake.
The cabin was dirty and neglected and a safety hazard.
The fridge was very dirty and took an hour to clean
The fridge had a bunch of left over food in it and there was a large mass of dried on gunk under the vegetable trays on the bottom
The bathroom was uncleaned from the previous user. The tub and sink were visibly dirty and the garbage was not emptied
There were dirty dishes glasses and pots in the cupboards.
The stove was covered in grease
The stove hood was covered in a layer of grease which was covered in a layer of flys
The rug may have been vacuumed but not very well
The water tank for the Keurig coffee maker was covered in a film of something gross.
The linen was thread bare
The towels had holes on them
The back deck is covered in a layer of pealing paint that sticks to bare wet feet
The seal between the panes of the large front windows in broken when means that the view of the lake is obstructed by condensation between the windows
The front and back door knobs are held on by duct tape.
The linen closest door knob is on a shelf in the linen closet
The back door needs to be slammed to close
The back storm door does not close properly on its own and let's mosquitoes in.
The screen on the back door has holes in it
The handle for the shower fell of and a had to screw it back together
The soap dish in the shower is half out of the wall causing the soap to always slip off
The BBQ is dirty
Only one side of the BBQ works
The BBQ tank ran out in 10 minutes ( they did replace the rusty empty one with a new full one)
The eaves are all plugged up and overflowed when it rained.
The front door key works on the dead bolt but not the door knob. I normally only lock the door knob. I'm glad I checked before we went out or we would have been locked out.
The dryer does not work properly. It's old and I think the fan is shot.
No toaster... Oh well
The wharf had a large number of nail heads and sharp nail points sticking out of it. I removed a bunch because one of our kids would have torn them self up on them
The boards on the wharf are just far enough apart to step or slip through when it's wet. Both my wife and I slipped through and hurt out legs. Luckily we did not break something which could have easily happened
There was a whole broken beer bottle in waist deep water at the end of the wharf.
There are railway ties with long spikes sticking out of them on one side of the cabin. ( a real hazard for kids)
There was a board next to the fire pit ha
