Why James Goulding chose Marbella
I have lived in this property regularly over the last 5 to 6 years and bought it primarily for its location in the heart of a Spanish Neighbourhood while still being close to the beach, old town and bars/restaurants of Marbella. I have always tried to holiday in places where I get a taste of real culture, and staying here has allowed me to do just that. Being from a northern European climate myself, the luminous aspect of the house with large windows and lots of sunlight have been a pleasant change from the dark artificial light of where I grew up. And obviously, the roof terrace has seen many a late night and empty bottle of Spanish Vino. I just hope that others can enjoy the property as much as I have over the years!
What makes this House unique
If you like Spanish culture and fancy time away from the "one-size-fits-all" Holiday experience, then the surrounds of the Marbella old town is the perfect place to stay. The house is located in a proper Spanish "barrio" with the everyday comings and goings of Spanish life and café culture, yet just a stones throw from the history of the Spanish old town, the glamour of the Puerto Deportivo, or the lazy Marbella beaches. Absolutely everything is nearby, with the wonderful and contrasting choices of culture and relaxation versus tourist hedonism practically on your doorstep every day of your holiday.

Spacious and comfortable townhouse within easy stroll of old town Marbella and the beach
My family, consisting of 6 adults, stayed for a week in August. The property easily accommodated all of us comfortably, the 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets were certainly a bonus. We were able to eat meals and relax together as a family without feeling crowded. The property is fully equipped with all the necessities, including washing machine, iron, drying rack, hair dryer, "netflix" and excellent wifi signal.
Being August we certainly appreciated the air con in all the bedrooms and the living area. The old town was a short stroll downhill in one direction and the beach a little further in the other direction. We drove to Marbella in a large car and we always found FREE parking within 100 metres of the property without any problems.
James, the owner was very responsive to my countless emails, providing answers to my questions and information on the area.
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Marbella.
Amazing stay in stunning property
The Townhouse is perfectly positioned for the old town and the Marbella sea front -there were five of us staying and it was perfectly sized with everything a family could want from cooking and washing facilities to great WiFi and Netflix for the kids-we loved the spacious roof terrace and barbecue-but the real bonus for us was how responsive James the owner was when we unexpectedly had to extend our stay when Ryanair cancelled our original return flight-Top Property-Top Owner!
We will DEFINITELY be back ☺️
Amazing Holiday in Marbella
Our stay was remarkable!!!! James and Sabina were both very responsive and accommodating at all times and the space was lovely, even though we had 8 people staying at this location the experience was fantastic!!!! We cooked and celebrated on the rooftop deck, walked to the beach and wondered at night through beautiful streets of Marbella enjoying tapas,cava and gelato...
The grocery store is only a few street over and tge beach is maybe 10min walk...there are two Beach Umbrellas in the closet and you can purchase a beach towel almost at any store... we took ours home:)
We rented bikes on the boardwalk and jumped in to ocean to cool off on our stops. Ferry rides and many beautiful restaurants are on every corner...
Overall this holiday with our family and friends was most memorable and we all enjoyed it very much.
Very good close to beach ,and main areas .
The house is a nice size for 6 people with plenty room ,sun terrace on the top is also good size very enjoyable stay.
Relaxing Week in Marbella
This town house is in well positioned in the old part of Marbella where you get a first hand experience of local life. Its so close to the shops, bars and restaurants - in fact there is a local bar across the road that also serves food (closed on a Sunday).The house is well maintained and is equipped with everything you need apart from food provisions- obviously eating out is preferable but the kitchen is well appointed and there is a barbecue on the roof terrace. The terrace is private and extremely spacious. Taxi fare from the bus station to the house was less than 10 euros and took approx 10 mins.We are definitely returning for another relaxing holiday.
The property, while ideally located in the centre of Marbella, is nonetheless just 300 meters to the nearest beach, and a further short walk to both chill-out and more lively beach bars.
Malaga Airport is a 45 minute ride by car or express Bus.

Booking Notes: 30% of the rental fee is payable on reservation, with the balance being payable on arrival. There is also a separate €140 cleaning fee as well as a €400 refundable damage and breakages deposit payable on arrival. Changeover Day: Changeover normally from Friday to Sunday, but dependent on booking schedule.
