Why Christopher/Olga Williams chose Turre
There are so many reasons for us buying in this location. Our Villa is on a new privately owned development of detached villas with pools that are over the bridge from Turre. It is a peaceful location with views of the ancient white washed town of Mojacar and surrounding mountains, yet within walking distance (10 mins) of the local town with its many restuarants(Spanish,Indian, Chinese), tapas bars, supermarkets, shops, Italian pizza place, bakery, butcher, bank, post office, chemist, hairdresser. It has a good Friday morning local market. Don't miss the spit roast chicken then from two stalls with fresh bread from the bakery-delicious! At the entrance to Agua Nueva there are tennis courts, boules, and a fitness park. Many excellent golf courses and beaches are within easy reach by car.
What makes this Villa unique
The Villa has its own private 4mx8m pool with steps and handrail into 1m depth sloping down to 2m depth with under water lighting option.(light switch in pool cabin). There is ample room for sun loungers and umbrellas around the pool and other areas. A portable gas barbecue for alfresco dinning if desired. Roofed patio overlooking the pool provides protection from direct sunlight. two other patios on the opposite side of the Villa to chase (or avoid) the sun. A roof top solarium with relaxing views of ancient Mojacar and Cabrerra mountains. Off street parking at the rear. It is a quiet location but close to all amenities. Minutes by car to beaches at Majorca playa, Vera playa, Garrucha, Villaricos etc. Golf at Valle del Este, Desert Springs, Marina golf, cortijo grande and much more.

This is a lovely villa in a great location with beautiful mountain views. The villa is clean and well equipped. The only thing that would make it perfect would be for the pool to be heated as the water was very cold. I'm sure if you are there in the peak season it would be fine but for early and late stays it just needs the edge to be taken off.
The villa was fantastic, very clean, well equipped with everything you needed. The pool was a good size, the surrounding area was very peaceful. Everywhere was accessible, shops and bars, restaurants, to walk to, even the beach just a short drive away.
Spent a week visiting family who live in the area,villa was a great base.
Perfect Holiday Villa
Returning for the second time we had a wonderful fortnight in this beautiful villa, nothing to fault and every reason to book a third visit
Very nice property. Well laid out. On a housing estate with lots of dogs but got used to it as the villa was well equipped and the pool was lovely. Smashing time with our family. The grandchildren were safe and happy. Only drawback was the oven didn't work but the BBQ was fine.
Thanks you for your review. We always appreciate guests comments. We are at the villa ourselves at present and have checked out the oven.
Actually there was nothing wrong with it. Both the bottom and top elements are working as they should. It didn't need to be repaired.
One suggestion though for future guests. The timer dial must be set to a period or set to point to the hand symbol if used manually. If set to show zero it will not turn on.

Clean , tidy spacious and well equipped
A drive of 7 minutes takes you to the nearest beaches at Mojacar playa
There are also excellent beaches at Vera Playa, Garrucha, Villaricos and others within easy reach by car involving short journeys.
Almeria airport is a 45 minute drive along the motorway. Alicante is a 2 and a half hour drive along the motorway (part way by toll road option)
Murcia is a 1hour 45 minute drive along the same mororway. Car hire is essential.
Villa is located as part of the town of Turre with all normal amenities. Los Gallardos is a 5 minute drive. Mojacar is a 5 minute drive. Garrucha is a 15 minute drive. Vera is a 20 minute drive.

Turre town has all amenities. Pharmacy, Bank, Supermarkets, Restaurants,hairdressor/barbers, dentists, doctors, police, firestation, market (Friday morning).
Nearest Hospital is at Huertal Overa (very modern and exellent)
Emergency doctor/casualty is at Mojacar playa.
Booking Notes: In addition to the rental fee we ask for a returnable deposit of £150 to be held against possible damages that is returnable within 14 days of your return. Rental monies are requested 6 weeks in advance of stay. It will be returned in event of cancellation until 30 days before arrival day. It is then non refundable. Changeover Day: Change over day is flexible. Check out to be made by 10 am if new guests are expected the same day. Check in under the same circumstances not before 4 pm. Otherwise we are able to be more flexible. Notes on prices: Prices are subject to change without notice, but once agreed by email with a client an offered price is always honoured. During the months of November through April, when the lounge wood burning stove may be used for heating, the guests are expected to purchase their own wood from the local supermarket. The letting cost does not include the supply of Wood for the stove. The air conditioning units can also be set to heating instead of air cooling and the cost of the electricity used is not included in the letting cost . Therefore a meter reading will be made at the start of the visit and end of the visit and the cost deducted from the "damages" deposit for stays of up to one month. Longer stays will require monthly checks on use and settlement of costs made to the owners monthly.
