Located 2 km from the town Turnov. The house is a part of the complex of 3 houses and a swimming pool shared with the owner (in duty from April till mid of October). Two houses are rented for holiday stays. You can rent both of them if you are a big group of friends or a big family, please check the other property on the HomeAway No. 10756331 It has its own driveway and very private surroundings. The property is one hour drive from Prague, highway R10. 30 min. ride from Liberec (aquapark Babylon, ZOO, Jested, great skiing conditions, one of the best golf courses in CR - Ypsilon golf club Liberec). You can visit many ancient castles in near surroundings like Valdštejn castle founded 1260, Hrubá skála, Trosky, Rotštejn, Zbirohy, Hrubý Rohozec, Sychrov, and many others. Excellent conditions for cycling and hiking also good for motorcycling. Many beautiful nature views. Swimming in many nature ponds, or Jizera river, good conditions for canoeing. Nearest swimming pool in Kacanovy 2km. Unlimited parking place on the plot. Shuttle from Prague airport takes 1 hour, which costs 95 Euro. return 168 Euro. Best way is to borrow a car directly at the airport, as there are plenty of very interesting trips that can be made from the property.

Wonderful stay

Nikola and Pavel are the most thoughtful, gracious hosts. They provided us with all the information we needed,showed us around and recommended nice places to visit. The house is perfect! Kitchen is spacious and contains everything that is needed. Beds are very comfortable. Terrace are is superb and pool is huge :) Despite the owners living next door, they were not intrusive and respectful of our privacy. We had a wonderful week and will come back for sure!

A superb place to stay

We had a wonderful stay here. Nikola was so welcoming. A bowl of cherries from the garden and also a bottle of local wine. The house is large, comfortable and also cool when it is very hot. There is plenty of space for at least two families. Outside is so lovely with a terrace for eating and also a swinging seat for chilling out. What made it for us was the pool we could swim even when the weather was cooler. Lots of nearby places for wonderful walks and Cesky Raj was stunning. Nikola and Pavel should be very proud of their hard work in making ones holiday a magic time. Also we enjoyed your dumplings, Nikola. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back. Pamela.

Fantastic house in a perfect location

We spent 16 days at this house and it was fabulous. The house is very spacious, exactly as the pictures described, and really well equipped. The pool is brilliant - adults and children loved messing about in it, but it is also a good length to swim properly in it too. The decked area is great too and is a lovely place to sit, sun bathe and read. The location is brilliant. We didn't have to drive far to get to any of the sights. The rock cities and castles are fabulous and the scenery is beautiful. Prague is only 1 hour away and we used the park and ride which was straight forward and cheap. Only 2 km away from the property is an amazing water park which has something for all ages no matter what stage your children are at. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants peace and quiet and wonderful nature of their doorstep.

Bohemian Paradise

We spend three weeks in this beautyful place and loved every minute of it ! In fact we booked it for two weeks but loved it so much we stayed a week longer than expected... :o) Nicola, Pavel and their family were very friendly and they all made us feel very welcome, even their sweet pets ! They are nearby when needed but always keep a distance to respect your privacy. The house was absolutely superb: very well equipped and tastfully decorated, very bright and clean (weekly cleaning and fresh linnens), it realy felt like a warm "home away from home" right away. The location is perfect if you want peace and quiet with the private patio area providing shade from the sun when needed. The heated pool is an absolute gem and we enjoyed it a lot ! The house is located in a nice rural area, but with Turnov just about 5 minutes away, very convenient for all your groceries and other shopping. Lots of places to visit in the area: castles, museums, national parks, nature trails, lovely towns, very friendly local people,... About half an hour driving to the north you reach the high Krkonossky mountains with superb views, and it's about 45 minutes to the south to Prague, a truly magnificent city, a must to visit ! We would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for perfect balance between relaxation and visiting the beautiful area, and with this place you'll realy feel like you're in a true "Bohemian Paradise", as the region is called. Thank you again very much, Nicola and Pavel, for your warm hospitality ! We are a couple from Prague. We have two children and three cats, we decided to move to the countryside. We built new houses in Masov close to Turnov. We live in one of the houses. It is 40 mins by car to Prague. So we can enjoy the beauty of nature and quiet and easily get to Prague. It is a great place for relaxation and raising up children.

Why they chose this property

Our villa can offer you a very special time. You can relax in the infra sauna or in the swimming pool with depth 120 cm, and lent 13,5m. It is friendly to children. We also have a small playground and a big sandbox for kids. Beautiful view from the house to the greenery of our huge garden. It is a very quiet place where you can have a good time with all your family.
