2 superb apts in Benamara
2 beautiful apartments, fully equipped and suitable for sun worshipers, golfers, families and those who want a relaxing holiday. These apartments are spacious and have new and modern furnishings to make your stay there easy and fun, now with wifi and air con. Great garden (ground floor apt) and terrace (first floor apt), and a huge communal pool only a minute's walk away. Benamara beach and the Salduna beach restaurant is just a few minutes walk (400m). Fantastic restaurants nearby too (Cocomo, Tanino, Lebanese, Chilli Tex Mex, Robin Hood Inn, Senator Hotel to name a few!)
We are the owners of the upstairs and downstairs apartment so if you are a larger group or need more space, why not rent both of them?
NB - the issue with the electricity tripping mentioned in the reviews has now been resolved (Feb 2017.)

About Laura Shipley
The ground floor apartment has been owned by my family since 1984, and we have enjoyed many wonderful holidays there over the years - as children, teenagers, and adults. We have recently modernized and refurbished the apartment making it more suitable for year-round use and for groups of friends, families, golfers etc. As bookings from our family, friends and many repeat guests have increased over the years, we decided to purchase the upstairs apartment in June 2015. We have added an internal spiral staircase and interlocking door so the apartments can be rented together by one group or separately. The apartments are now perfect as holiday rentals for two families, larger groups, or a smaller group wanting en suite, spacious accommodation. We look forward to sharing them with you in 2015 and beyond!

We love the sunny climate of the Costa Del Sol, and its ease of access from the UK. The garden (ground floor apt) and terrace (first floor apt) is a real 'sun-trap,' and although the apartments are only a short walk from the local amenities, the area is quiet and still feels relaxing and peaceful. The nightlife of Puerto Banus is there if you want it, or there are hundreds of quieter local restaurants and bars if that's more your thing!
What makes this Apartment unique
The property is situated in a well-established development, which benefits from much larger communal gardens and is more spacious than newer developments. The swimming pool has to be seen to be believed, (it is huge!) though never feels crowded even in July and August. There really is something for everyone here - I hope you enjoy your holiday here as much as our family does!

Great apartment, fantastic location and great owner
We have recently stayed at Laura's ground floor apartment on Benamara. I must say that the apartment was fantastic. Very clean and spacious and a perfect location near the pool, restaurants and bars.
Also, Laura was great to deal with. Nothing seemed like too much trouble and was always very quick to respond to queries.

Modern, spacious, & child friendly apartment
Stunning property with great facilities - above and beyond the norm - the owners have thought of everything, including an electric juicer for that freshly pressed juice in the morning! Super bathroom with fab shower as well as an ensuite. Comfy beds and great space to relax when having a break from the heat. Kids delighted by TV and plenty of seating. Large dining area too.
Apartment feels very secluded with its enclosed and gated garden. Privacy whilst having all the benefits of being on a complex; kids can make friends, local shops and a stunning pool - again gated so no concerns about little ones. This was by far our most relaxing family holiday to date. Hope to book again soon!

Tennis holidays - coaching can be arranged at Bel-Air Tennis club (5 mins drive.) English speaking coaches, mix-ins, sociable club - no membership required.
Walking holidays - many walks / hikes into the Spanish campo to see more of rural Spain. Guide book available in the apartment.
Many safe, sandy beaches near to Benamara. Heaven beach Guadalpin beaches are family friendly and offer entertainment and water sports. Plaza beach at Puerto Banus has a dance music daily in the summer months. Nikki Beach (Marbella) and The Ocean Club (Puerto Banus) are great beach party venues, and only a short drive away. San Pedro and Estepona towns and beaches are ideal for families. Salduna Restaurant, Benamara beach (5 min walk) shingle/pebble in places, recommend wearing beach shoes.

The development is beach side with the apartment just 5 minute stroll to the beach. There is a wide selection of international restaurants within walking distance. There are shops and supermarkets within a few minutes walk. Winter months are ideal for golfers and there are plenty of courses within a 15 minute drive of the apartment. The closest are Guadalmina South, Atalaya, Marbella Club and El Paraiso (5-10 min drive.). Summer months are very hot and it's a fantastic location for a summer holiday.
Activities in the area include Golf, Hiking, Nightlife, Scuba diving, Shopping (Puerto Banus, Marbella), Sightseeing tours (Ronda, Marbella, Gibraltar, Granada) Sunbathing, Swimming pool, Tennis Club 5 min drive.
The apartment is situated between Marbella and Estepona close to the town of San Pedro de Alcantara. The development is next to the luxury Grand Plaza, Estepona hotel which offers facilities for non residents (gym, spa, indoor/outdoor pool, pool bar, restaurants.)
It is a 10 minute drive to glitzy Puerto Banus. Local towns for sightseeing are Estepona, San Pedro d'Alcantara and Marbella (10-15 minutes drive).
Plenty of local amenities within walking distance of the apartment, so car hire is not essential. Good public transport service and taxis.
Estepona is a typical Spanish town and offers a beautiful tree lined promenade and excellent harbour area with some lovely cafes. There are many tapas bars in the town and some excellent restaurants along the sea front.
Marbella Old town and the area around Orange square is a fantastic place to enjoy a freshly squeezed orange juice or a coffee. Ronda is a traditional Spanish village in the mountains and is approximately 45 minutes away. Seville is approximately 2 hours drive and the Alhambra Palace at Granada is spectacular and within a 2.5 hour drive.
Selwo adventure park is only a 10 minute drive away towards Estepona and the water park at Fuengirola is within 30 minutes of Benamara.

Refundable security deposit of £200 payable with final rental payment - refunded within 2 weeks of departure subject to satisfactory inspection and return of keys.
