Pool / Spa
We all loved it as the cottage was comfy, cosy and quiet.
The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Many thanks for the chocs and prosecco. The cottage was warm, cosy and quiet so couldn't ask for more as we had a wonderful time.
Home from home
Just returned from a lovely week at this property. Myself and 4 grown children age ranges 17 to 24, plus my husband for a short part of the week. The house accommodated all 6 large bodies comfortably! We ate at the property for almost all meals and had adequate cooking area and utensils, plus were able to eat either inside or outside. The pool was a real bonus, set aside from the property in a quiet leafy part of the garden, it was a real treat to be able to swim every day. John and Sue were so welcoming and helpful, and really did feel like nothing was too much, even my dogs visiting their portion of the garden at times and "asking for food"! I would definitely recommend this property for a quiet retreat for a very peaceful holiday.
A little gem with the kindest of hosts.
From the minute we arrived we were greeted with warmth and kindness. John and Sue are the loveliest cottage owners we have ever come across in all our years of cottage holidays.
The cottage was delightful with everything we needed and John kindly showed us around and made us feel very much at home. Our 3 children (9,13 &15) were also made to feel very welcome and were also spoiled with extra teats and our little dog was also made a fuss of.
The highlight of this cottage was without a doubt the indoor pool which we had all to ourselves. We had many happy hours splashing around with a few swimming competitions!
We also had a relative staying with John & Sue in the adjoining B&B and he was very complimentary about how well he was looked after. The cottage was well equipped, the garden was beautiful and a lovely place to start the day with and early cuppa. We would all love to return one day.
A last minute short stay, but well worth the visit. Beautiful charming cottage. High quality furnishings and bedding and immaculately clean. First visit to this part of the world and had a fantastic time with the family. Beach at Brancaster was a favourite for the children and recommended by the lovely owners. Would highly recommend.
So pleased that you had a good time : having a charming and happy family to stay in the cottage was an absolute pleasure and also glad you made good use of the pool.
It was very kind of you to take the trouble to write such a positive review and we really appreciate it. Thank you.
Where do I start,I could write a book full of amazing things to say about the cottage and owners,we have 4 children and they were made to feel like family as were we,I can honestly say we have never in all our travels come across owners as kind, helpful and friendly as sue and John, they made our holiday.
Lovely house & pool, Sue & John made us most welcome
We loved the rustic, airy feel of the house & couldn't get enough of the pool.
