This lovely three bedroom detached villa offers good quality accommodation and has its own private swimming pool. The villa is spacious and comfortably furnished to create a relaxing stay. There is English TV and a selection of books, DVDs and CDs for your use whilst in the villa. Chayofa is a small peaceful community, a 5 minute drive from Los Cristianos and 10 minute drive from Las Americas. There are a few lovely restaurants, an English pub and a small supermarket within walking distance of the villa.

We had a fantastic time and the villa is absolutely gorgeous with everything you could possible want.

Thoroughly enjoyed all that Chayofa and Tenerife had to offer, the trip just wasn't long enough! We will no doubt be looking to return in the future.

Notes on accommodation: Air-con available throughout. A safe is provided. A small welcome pack awaits your arrival consisting of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and water. Our English management company are located nearby in the unlikely event of any problems and a contact number will be made available. An information file is available in the villa with useful details for your stay and ideas of local tourist attractions. No smoking allowed in the villa. No pets. No wifi in villa but available free of charge at all local cafes/restaurants. Outside: The lower terrace has a lovely private swimming pool and patio area with sun beds. There is a large parasol to provide shade from the hot sunshine. The garden enjoys tropical trees, flowers and shrubs. The upper terrace has a table and 6 chairs, ideal for sitting outside for your meals and enjoying the stunning views. There is a BBQ on the lower level. Utility Room: The utility room contains a washing machine, clothes horse, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen provided. Pool towels not provided. Mid-term clean and linen change can be provided for bookings over 10 days. The pool maintenance man and gardener come every Friday

Home from home in the sun

We are returning guests at this property and would not go anywhere else while in Tenerife. The villa has everything you could want, good transport links and is not too far away from Los Christianos. The village has a number of very good restaurants serving both Spanish and English cuisine. The private pool is fab and we made use of it every day. We Will certainly return in the future.

perfect location

Stayed 3 weeks in January at the villa and we had a fabulous time with family.

The villa is in a perfect spot with lovely views of the sea and the surrounding hills. There's a bus stop just a short walk from the villa that runs regular which is great for getting down to the front at Los Christianos or Las Americas or further if you want to go along the coast, and there very cheap. There's also 3 nice restaurants and bars with good entertainment, Spanish style of course which is great. The villa is a good size for 6 people with lots of outside space for relaxing and a nice pool, we would certainly go back to this villa. We had a couple of problems with the lighting outside and the pool but Su got it fixed asap. There is a lot of steps up to the villa, so just bear this in mind. Theres also lots of dvd's and books that you can use which was great. The villa needs a little TLC in places but nothing major, you will still have a fabulous stay. Enjoy.

Although in a good location the villa has a tired feel and could do with smartening up.

Had problems with hot water system for most of 1st 2 weeks of our stay, we had no hot water on our 1st morning as system not turned on, when turned on we had pressure valve leaks due to high mains water pressure, the leaking valve caused a high pitched whistling noise which in turned caused disturbed sleep and complaints from neighbours.

The oven and BBQ were both in a filthy state and needed cleaning before they could be used, in addition we had problems with the mains electric tripping when using the hob and oven at the same time..

The bedding was of very poor quality , some having holes in, also some of the pillows were stained. Need replacing. There were no covers for the mattresses and pillows which is surprising given that the property is used for rental purposes.

The bathroom was in in disgusting state with the shower head split and badly stained. The vanity unit falling apart. Poor quality towels for bathroom and kitchen use, also need replacing.

The tumble dryer was not working and the knob fell off the washing m/c. The ironing board cover was worn out such that we needed to cover it with a towel before use.

The pots and pans are in poor condition with much of the non-stick coating worn away.

The curtains in the larger of the bedrooms were grubby and mouldy.

The safe stopped working due to a failure in one of the batteries, the end had broken off, this we fixed with replacement batteries.

The swimming pool cover is badly torn and was very difficult to wind up.

Due to the many steps used to access the villa would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues.

This is a good villa in a good location spoilt by a lack of TLC!!

The Property Management company were very helpful in dealing with the problems experienced with the hot water system.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback and I would like to take the opportunity to respond. We would like to apologise for the water issue. This was caused by a valve in the street and the Community replaced this urgently once informed. This has solved the problem and there will be no further issues. I have asked our management company to purchase some new bedding and towels and to replace the shower head and ironing board cover. I have also asked them to check the pots and pans in the kitchen and replace if necessary. We are grateful for your feedback on these items as unless we are told we are not aware. Replacements will be brought asap. We have received a quote for the swimming pool cover and a new one will be fitted shortly. We have spent a lot of money on the villa over the past few months and do our best to keep it to a high standard. Feedback is always appreciated and taken very seriously. We look forward to welcoming you back to our villa again.

What a wonderful villa!

What a wonderful villa! It was lovely and homely, perfectly located for the local towns and beaches, and the pool was terrific!

We went to the local restaurants most nights at the request of our teenage children. We didn't hire a car because the buses and taxis were so easy to get and cheap to use.

The villa gave us the indoors and outdoors space that we would not have had in a hotel, as well as the luxury and privacy of the private pool. We spent many evenings in there playing and having fun!

This villa has made our first foreign holiday one to remember forever! Thank you :-)

loved this villa and everything in it.Even had a dvd library cd library and a choice of over 100 books to read, Everything you need is here from dishwasher to washing machine. beautiful heated pool. Lovely tapas bar and restaurant nearby also friendly pub. already talking about 2 holidays there next year

Villa is beautiful 5 of us in party, heated swimming pool views outstanding and everything you need here. lovely restaurants and bars close by. Books, dvds library and selection of cd all for you to use.Plenty of space and seating areas ,will defiantly return to this property

5 minutes by car to Los Cristianos beach.


The nearest airport is Tenerife South (TFS) which is a 20 minute drive.

The villa is set back from the main road leading to Los Cristianos. It is a 5 minute drive to Los Cristianos and 10 minutes to Playa de Las Americas.

Although it is recommended you hire a car, if you do not wish to do so the buses stop at the road in front of the villa and the local taxis are very reliable.


Within walking distance of the villa are some nice restaurants, an English pub and a small supermarket.

A large heated pool for use by all Chayofa residents is a short walk from the villa.

Los Cristianos is a 5 minute drive where you will find golden sandy beaches shops and restaurants.

Las Americas is a 10 minute drive and has a nice beach and plenty of shops. There are plenty of restaurants and lively bars which are open till late.

Further Details:

In Chayofa itself and within walking distance of the villa are some nice restaurants, an English pub and a small supermarket.

La Finca Chayofa is a lovely Spanish restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and entertainment most evenings.

Tasca del Arte does the most amazing Spanish tapas and is definitely worth a visit. Here you will mingle with the locals and once you have tasted the food you will be sure to go back!

La Estancia serves French-Mediterranean cuisine and has won many awards. It is meant to be one of the best restaurants on the island.

It is worth a visit to the new Regency Country Club with its exotic Bali theme. Pop in for a drink and some lunch. They have lots going on there, both during the day and evening. Internet access is available here. Chayofa Country Club is also nearby. There is a cash machine located here.

The Tree House is the new English pub. There is entertainment most evenings. Food on offer ranges from curries to Sunday roast.

A few minutes drive from Chayofa is Park Las Aquilas (Jungle Park), a fantastic zoological and botanical park with over 75,000 square meters of jungle, over 500 animals, walking paths with tunnels, waterfalls, lagoons, and caves, as well as the amazing bird of prey show.

Loro Parque (Parrot Park) in the North of the island is one of the island’s biggest attractions. It is home to 700 animals as well as a huge aquarium, children's playground, botanical gardens and the incredible “Planet Penguin”.

For water fun visit the Thai-themed Siam Park, one of the best water parks in Europe or Aqualand with it's amazing dolphin show. Take a whale/dolphin spotting boat trip, go jet-skiing or parascending, diving or BOB diving using an underwater scooter!

Enjoy a game of golf, go up Mount Teide in the cable car, get the ferry over to La Gomera or do a jeep safari. Visit Los Cristianos Sunday market or one of the many shopping centres.
