The property is charming, cosy and very comfortable. It's ideal for a peaceful retreat.

We received a very warm welcome at the Weaver's shed and felt that Susie and her husband had taken real care to make the cottage inviting and restful. They were also both extremely friendly and gave brilliant advice on where to go on the island as well as information on possible hitches, like closed roads or delayed ferries. We would thoroughly recommend this place, but please bear in mind you may encounter some midges in the summer. Preparation is the best defence for this!

Amazing Place !!

  • 5 of 5

This lovely place has breathtaking views! the weather, the island, the stones etc we enjoy every minute and the only part that we hate was that we didn't stay longer at this place. Susan & Mike were wonderful hosts with us and the dogs are lovely. The fresh eggs & coffee was a wonderful breakfast! We absolutely recommend this place!

We had an amazing stay here

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our time in this little cottage getaway. Susie was very helpful and generous. Everything from the view to the tide clock to the fresh eggs we had was perfect. And what a bathroom this place has. We would easily recommend this spot to anyone.

Could this place BE any more relaxing?!

  • 5 of 5

After a torrid two nights camping in gale force winds and heavy rain we decided to chance our arm at getting a last minute midweek booking on a small cottage or anywhere with solid walls. I'm not sure how we got so lucky but the weavers shed happened to be free (once you've stayed there, you'll wonder why it's not fully booked for the next year). We almost booked it without looking due to the lack of mobile reception on Lewis but the 3 nights staying here turned out to be the best bit of our two week tour.

Susie and Mike have done a brilliant job of fitting out the little weavers shed with everything you could need, with an emphasis on relaxation. Ironically, every minute we were staying at the weavers shed, the weather was fantastic but that didn't stop us enjoying a bath or a Sauna each night. The real trouble was getting up to leave each morning as the bed was amazing.

Overall we can't recommend this place high enough and the little touches like cakes and fresh eggs made it even better, Susie and Mike were wonderful hosts too.

Thanks very much, we definitely hope to return at some point.
