About Marie-Louise Layton
We are Richard, Marie-Louise, George and Lily Layton and we farm in Herefordshire. We bought our first property (8164437) in Saundersfoot in 2004 and we have already created many happy memories of times spent here. We hope that you leave with lovely memories of your own. The magic and charm of Pembrokeshire never ceases to delight, and we are always pleased to welcome guests back year after year.
Marie-Louise Layton purchased this House in 2004
Why Marie-Louise Layton chose Saundersfoot
Having spent many childhood holidays in Saundersfoot, I fell in love with it all over again when we visited with our own children. This prompted us to go out on a limb and buy our lovely house, so that we could spend more time here, and nurture our children's love of the area. We all love the sea and walking along the beaches, and there is so much to do in Saundersfoot and the surrounding area. The village is very friendly, has lots of shops and plenty of places to eat. Richard finds it the ideal place to unwind on rare occasions that he can get away from the farm!
What makes this House unique
We love our house because, although it is only a gentle stroll into the heart of the village, it is just far enough away so that it is quiet in the evenings.
Cancelled bookings will not receive a refund.
Fantastic house and well equipped.
We have just come back from a great trip to Wales, staying in this lovely and very well equipped house, would definitely stay again and recommend
Thank you very much, we are so please that you enjoyed your stay at Daydreams. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
Such a lovely house!
We stayed in the house in August for a summer holiday and it was such a a lovely place to stay and it was refreshing to arrive somewhere that was clean, tidy, well looked after, and well stocked.
The kitchen is fully stocked, the lounge is nice and comfy and really quiet. There are 3 good size bedrooms, (1 double, 1 twin and 1 single) plus a main bathroom and shower room of the master suite. The garden is a good size with enough space for kids to play safely and to have a bbq.
The house is in a good location, although with young kids it's worth noting that it's easier to drive into Saundersfoot village as a long steep hill, other than this it's close to the main road into Tenby and also close to other local attractions.
We will certainly consider stopping here next time we visit!
Thank you for your lovely review. We love our little house and nothing makes us happier than when someone else enjoys it too. We look forward to welcoming you in the future.
Great cottage in a lovely area
Lots to explore
Stayed at Daydreams for a long weekend 2 adults, 2 teenage boys and our dog.
The owners are very welcoming with helpful suggestions of where to go and places to eat.
The house was warm and welcoming, kitchen is well equipped and there's wifi - a must with teenagers 😀
The house is well positioned just a short walk into Saundersfoot and the beach. From there a further lovely walk and you're at Wisemans Bridge.
Within Saundersfoot there's plenty of lovely restaurants and bars.
We watched the New Years Day swim - maybe next year we'll join in.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return. Would definitely recommend.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is important to us that our guests enjoy their stay at Daydreams and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
This little house contained everything that we required, it was warm, comfortable and well located. Tried the walk down the hill in to Saundersfoot and up the hill back to the house....once.
It was obvious that the owners had done everything they could to make your stay a memorable one and will certainly consider returning in the future.
Would certainly tell my friends about the "PINK HOUSE", Saundersfoot must be one of the nicest places that you could visit for nice walks and great beaches to explore.
Great beaches, good places to eat but would never return to the Vietnamese establishment in town.
Many thanks for your lovely review. You are right - we DO try our hardest to make sure our visitors enjoy their stay. We are glad you had a good holiday and look forward to welcoming you back one day.
Our Perfect Find!
Well what can I say about this lovely pink cottage, it's simply perfect! It must be as we keep coming back year after year (7th/8th time, already book for 2014/2015!) - we just love the cottage and Saundersfoot! Louise and Richard have thought of everything, there's nothing that the cottage lacks and if it hasn't got something, then sure enough the next time, it will - they're brilliant! Everytime we go back there has been some alteration done to the cottage which adds to the "homely" feel it gives you each time you open the door and walk in - I think you can gather I love the place! What's brilliant about it, we're allowed to take our dog, well that's magical for us as Elbie absolutely loves the beach and with so much walking what a fantastic base to have! There's so much to do and see in Pembrokeshire that a week's not enough for us! How we ever came across the little pink cottage "Daydreams" I'll never know but one thing for sure, it was a great find - it has been a pleasure to rent this place because the standard of care has never been a let down! We know that everytime we go, our holiday will be a good one even if the weather may let us down, our cottage won't! I can't praise this little place enough - there isn't anything I can find wrong with it apart from it not being ours! Thank you Louise and Richard for allowing us to share "Daydreams" - looking forward to June 2014 already! x
Wow! What a fantastic review - thank you so much! We love our little pink house and it really does give us great pleasure to share it with guests who enjoy it as much as we do.
