APPLEDORE QUEBEC is a beautifully presented home with stunning estuary and sea views, across to Instow, Crow Point and the countryside beyond. Originally a fisherman’s cottage, Quebec retains original character while offering modern comfort.

Appledore is a picturesque fishing village with restaurants, pubs, cafes, a deli, galleries and shops, as well as stunning coastal walks. Westward Ho! is just 10 minutes away by car with its long sandy surfing beach and bustling seaside atmosphere.

APPLEDORE QUEBEC is in the ideal location for exploring the North Devon coast. Book a fishing trip, Visit Lundy Island, go crabbing, take a ferry across the ferry to Instow, catch a bus to Barnstaple or explore the maze of narrow streets full of art galleries and craft shops.

LIVING AREAS

Open plan lounge/dining room with a conservatory area at one end filling the room with natural sunlight, and of course making the most of the spectacular view! Double doors lead outside. Home entertainment includes a flatscreen TV with Freeview, DVD player, DVD/CD selection, iPod dock, books and games. WiFi internet access is provided.

The dining table seats 6 and a high chair is provided.

KITCHEN

Attractive kitchen with all you could need for a relaxing self catering holiday. There is a cosy seating area to relax in and keep the cook company. Appliances include a fridge, oven, grill, gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and cafetiere, children’s crockery, as well as a good supply of pots, pans, kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery

Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with en suite bathroom, located on the second floor - where the view is incredible! Open the curtains in the morning to panoramic coastal views, ever changing with the tide.

Bedroom 2: Twin bedroom with wonderful estuary views.

Bedroom 3: Small double bedroom, overlooking the pretty street below.

A travel cot is provided.

BATHROOMS:

Bathroom 1: Second floor bathroom, en suite to Bedroom 1, with bath, hand basin and WC.

Bathroom 2: Shower room with shower enclosure, hand basin and WC.

Bath towels are provided.

OUTDOORS

There is a patio and outdoor seating with a view! The estuary comes right up to the back wall. The perfect place to have morning coffee or relax in the evening and watch the sunset. An outdoor table and chairs seat 6 people, as well as two sun loungers and a charcoal BBQ. The outdoor space is enclosed and therefore dog-friendly.

There is free parking at the end of the street (200 yards) as well as a paying car park 200 yards away.

CYCLE TO - The charming fishing villages of Appledore and Instow, as well as the town of Bideford and Barnstaple. The Tarka Trail is a series of footpaths and cycle-paths around north Devon with over 30 miles of the Tarka Trail available to cyclists between Braunton and Meeth, using the old railways of North Devon.

DRIVE TO - The surrounding area has much to offer. Within driving distance is Atlantic Village outlet shopping centre, Tapeley Park, Instow, The Big Sheep, Dartington Crystal, Clovelly, Bucks Mills, The Milky Way adventure park and the historic market town of Bideford with its open-air and pannier markets. Just a short hop over the Torridge is the large market town of Barnstaple with all high street conveniences, cinema, theatre, museums, and pannier market. From Barnstaple one is in easy reach of many magnificent North Devon blue-flag beaches including Croyde, Woolacombe, Saunton Sands, Braunton Burrows and Putsborough all famous surf spots. The Eden Project in Cornwall can also be visited easily within a day.

WALK TO – Nestled in the centre of Appledore within a labyrinth of narrow streets and is only a short stroll to the bustling quayside, restaurants, pubs, galleries and Maritime Museum.An ideal location for enjoying the many attractions North Devon has to offer, you will be a short drive to The Big Sheep, RHS Rosemoor Garden, the National Trust property Arlington Court, Clovelly and much more. Walkers can enjoy coastal walks from the property and the 2 miles of golden sandy beach at Westward Ho! is less than a 20 minute walk. There is also a choice of leisure facilities close by including riding, tennis, golf, swimming, fishing and more. In the evenings, sample one of the six pubs in Appledore, most serving good food.
