This property is situated in the modern Expo area of Lisbon, which is the area where the 1998 Lisbon World Exposition was held. The apartment is just 15 minutes drive from Lisbon International Airport. The Moscavide Metro station is just a 15-minute walk from here, and in 20 minutes you can walk to the Vasco da Gama shopping center - or just 5 minutes away by car. In Parque das Nações, one of Lisbon's major new residential neighborhoods, you can find cafes, bars, a shopping center and also some educational attractions, such as the Oceanarium. And the kids will love taking a ride on the waterfront cable car. The Oceanarium was designed by American architect Peter Chermayeff and is the largest in Europe. Divided into various ecosystems from around the world, it is home to almost 15.000 animals and plants from over 450 different species. Located on the ground floor of this building, there are some shops and a nice café/restaurant, with outside terrace. Just across the road, there are shops, a bank and a chemist/pharmacy. The apartment building is located on a quiet avenue with not much traffic and this area, in general, is a very peaceful residential area, which is completely safe to walk around at night.
