In the heart of the trail with the nearest working distillery only 2 miles away. Watch for the famous Moray Firth dolphins from 4 of the rooms.

The millie has views of the sea from 5 windows.... what more do you need. The Jacuzzi bath with Tile TV and the Sauna are just for additional indulgence!

What makes this house unique

The Bothy - The local coffee shop serves fantastic Brodies Coffee and fancy pieces (home bakes). The Harbour Inn which is about 100m away serves great steaks and home-made chips. The dolphins are often seen in the bay or at the Back Shore. Burghead has something to offer everyone.

Notes on accommodation: Accommodation is 'high end' and has been fully refurbished to a very high standard. The property has a real wow factor and is loved by all that visit! Outside: Large private walled garden with paved, grassed and decked areas. BBQ, summer house. Picnic table and garden chairs. Utility Room: Retro washing machine, sink, dog bed, ironing board, iron Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and linen included. Towels and linen changed at hand-over or weekly for longer lets. Other: Large top floor loft/snug area - part is curtained off to form fourth bedroom when necessary. Tv, dvd, wifi, a great place for the family to hang out!

Cracking house, facilities and location

Ideal place to chill out and unwind- it’s a must see place. Grandson loved the jacuzzi but used up all the hot water ! That will teach his mum for having a sleep in !

All boxes ticked with this property- local cafe that is linked to the cottage, food and service was tremendous, will be back again.

A very charming home from home that provokes relaxation and peace. A lovely touch getting a welcome pack with some nice food. We thoroughly enjoyed our time relaxing and making full use of the sauna and jacuzzi bath. Marvellous!

Two minutes from 7 miles of sandy beach between Burghead & Findhorn. Caves and rock pools in opposite direction towards Hopeman.

The Millie, and our other property The Bessie, are named after the Millie Burn and the Bessie Burn which run into Burghead Bay. These are local landmarks and a good walk on the beach is 'to the Millie' or 'to the Bessie'.


Inverness airport is 45 minutes away. Aberdeen is 90 minutes. Hire car would be beneficial.


Property is within Burghead which has a convenience store, three pubs, excellent coffee shop, chemist, doctors and hairdressers.
