About the property

An ideal choice for a quiet relaxing holiday with views of the medditeranian sea

Situated in a private urbanisation, with an abundance of individuality and a typical Mediteranian feel.

Lemon Tree Villa has just been recently re-furbished (Jan 17) and has sea, mountain and golf views, 2 double bedrooms with spacious wardrobes, 1 bathroom with bath and overhead shower, a spacious fully equiped open kitchen with breakfast bar ( where a welcome pack will be waiting for you) and there is also a seperate laundry room.

The villa is 12 km from the airport which is around 25 euros by taxi or a 20 minute train ride from directly outside the airport for under 3 euros per person. The villa has air conditioning/heating in both bedrooms and living area. The lounge has a TV with free Wi-Fi. The Villa also has lovely terrace, which has full length glass sliding doors which looks out over the free formed pool, sunbathing area, garden and views out to sea with a spacious dining table and chairs to enjoy a relaxed meal. To the South of the villa you look out to sea, to the West you look out to golf and Benalmadina Pueblo, to the East looks out over to Arroyo de La miel and Benalmadina (although slightly obscured by the pylon which you can see on the photo's), and from the front of the villa to the North you look up to the mountains.

Although in a quiet residential community, the villa is within easy walking distance from lots of ammenities:

-Supermarket and bus stop 4 mins

-Tapas Bar 5 mins

- Local Crown Green Bowling Club 7/8 mins

-There are 3 other local bars a short 10 min stroll each serving food.

- The centre of Arroyo De La Miel is a leisurly 15/20 min walk where you will find the main train line to Fuengerola and Malaga, Tivoli World with all of its family attractions, the cable car to the famous Calamorro mountain which takes around 15 mins along the 3 km trip which takes in far reaching views. There is a local market in Arroyo every Friday and the centre is packed with bars, restauraunts and shops to suit all tastes. Benalmadina Pueblo and the beautiful Mijas Pueblo are both easily accessible.

Other nearby places to visit include Benalmadina Marina, the fantastic beaches at La Carriaheula and Benalmadina.

Torremolinos, Fuengerola, Porta Banus and Marbella are all within easy reach via public transport.

Further afield, Ahlambra Palace, Rhonda, and Gibraltar can be arranged locally at very reasonable prices.

All in all, whatever type of holiday you want, Lemon Tree Villa can be a perfect place to stay.

We bought the Villa in 2016, we fell in love with location and villa and decided that this is where we would like to retire in a few years time. We like to spend as much time at the Villa as possible, even just for a weekend, as we re very busy in the UK it is absolutely bliss to return to the villa for a tranquil relaxing break, and we hope you can to.

Why Hilary and Steve chose Benalmádena

After many years searching, we finally decided that this was the place mainly because of the location and the area. A car is not really necessary so usually we don't bother, everything is within walking distance, supermarkets, bus, train, bars, restaurants more can you ask for?

What makes this villa unique

One of the main benefits is the easy commute from Malaga airport, a 400 metre walk to the train station (Renfe) a 15 minute train journey to Arroyo de la Miel, then you can either walk or get a bus or taxi right outside the station.

The views are amazing and it is so quiet, you can just relax and not be disturbed, or within a few minutes you can be in one of the villages, beaches or the town perfect.

The Villa is situated within walking distance to supermarkets, bars, restaurants, bus and train services, so a car is not really necessary unless you want to drive further afield. It is ideally situated to use as a base for travelling, the train line runs from Malaga to Fuengirola and is easily accessible from the centre of Arroyo de la Miel (15 min walk). The buses also run to Malaga & Torremolinos, to the East and also up to the villages of Benamadina and Mijas, the bus stop is a 5 min stroll away, as is the nearest supermarket, so you can collect your fresh bread and fish daily without any hassle of driving or catching buses.
