This modern and well furnished private property is set in 1.2 acres and benefits from its large and spacious design having ample space to relax in privacy, it has its own private pool, private gardens, and secured private parking, surrounded by fruit and olive trees with stunning countryside views. The property is very secure particularly for children having perimeter railings all round and with access to the property via remote controlled gates. With its rural setting this property makes it perfect for guests who like walking and hiking. The friendly small town of Montefalcione which is only 15 minutes walk away offers lots of things to do for everyone of all ages where you can relax and enjoy with the locals particularly in the summer evenings sitting around the cafe`s and bars or strolling up and down the main street into the Piazza. About Ralph Pagliuca
My wife and I are retired and we both live in the uk. We spend most of the summers in Italy not just at our own property but also with relatives and friends as we have lots of relatives that live all over Italy. I am of Italian origin from the southern part of the country and speak the language fluently. I love this part of Italy where I can relax and enjoy all the local events and socializing with the friendly local people.
Why Ralph Pagliuca chose Montefalcione
The property was built and was completed in 2005. The reason for this location is that I am originally from this area but more so it reminds me of the slow pace and the laid back way of Italian life. Only a short walk into the small picturesque town of Montefalcione where you will find a variety of Shops , Mini Markets, Post Office, Bank, Cash machines, Bus service to nearby towns and villages not forgetting a selection of local restaurants , pizzerias, and bars. Also not too far away is the familiar Neapolitan Riviera just 60 minutes car drive accessible via an excellent Major road and motorway network where you can visit Naples , Sorrento, Amalfi, Maiori, Positano, Ravello, Pompeii, Vesuvius or you can take a short trip to the Islands of Capri or Ischia and much more just ask for more information when booking
What makes this Villa unique
What I enjoy most whilst staying at the property is its location with complete privacy, the modern design , the space and comfort, the tranquility, the relaxed atmosphere and it`s stunning views and sunsets.

Peaceful and welcoming, home from home
On arrival in italy the owner met us not far from the villa and guided us to the door. First impressions were wow and these didn’t fade. The villa was spotlessly clean and had everything needed to make our stay home from home. The owner couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel very welcome giving advice on local festivals, restaurants and sightseeing.
The views were stunning and it was always a relief to come back to the peace and quiet of the villa after long days out and about.
Would definitely return and would recommend to anyone wanting to experience Italy untouched by tourists but within easy reach of all the main attractions.
Dear Louise, Many thanks for your kind words and I am so pleased to hear that you all enjoyed your stay at our villa.
You were wonderful guests and you would be most welcomed to stay at anytime in the future.
If you are looking for a lively, bustling holiday, this villa is not for you. If you want chill, relaxation and a taste of the real Italy then this will be your idea of paradise. The villa is of a very high standard and the scenery is idealic. You will never get bored watching the view from the pool. The on-line photos do not do the villa justice. The real thing is far better. The days at this time of year (July) are very warm but the temp drops about ten degrees in the evenings, making it very comfortable through the night. The local town of Montifalcioni is typical Italy and the villa is in easy reach of other, busy and beatiful towns such as Benevento and Caserta, for some night life and shopping, but still in the Italian way. You are an hour from Pompeii, the Amalie Coast and even less from Napoli. If you are fortunate enough to have Ralph, the owner in the country at the time of your break you will find him kean and eager to help you in every way he can. We could write a book about the reasons for coming here. You just need to try it. Iain, Kaz and family.
Hi Ian and Kaz,

I am also pleased to hear that you enjoyed everything about your stay particularly, with the area , the views, the local attractions and the real Italy.
You were fantastic guests and would be most welcomed to have you back anytime.
Best Regards Ralph
Fantastic villa, great location
We have just returned from a wonderful stay at this villa. The villa is lovely, clean, tidy and more well equipped than our own home! The owner, Ralph, met us en route and showed us to the villa which was really helpful. He showed us around and even provided a very generous food pack to get us through until the shops opened the next day. Everything has been thought of in this villa from kitchen supplies to towels, toiletries, games and (so many) books! All of the bedrooms have fans and we found it very comfortable at night. Location is ideal for exploring, in a week we managed to see Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento, Salerno, the Amalfi Coast and the temples at Paestum. Ralph was a super host and was contactable throughout our stay, offering welcome suggestions and advice on places to see. He even fixed a scratch on our hire car for us before we left! Perfect villa, perfect holiday! Can't recommend this place enough!
Dear Ian and Katy,

Once again many thanks
We had a wonderful time.
This was a marvellous base for our family holiday and Ralph the owner could not have been more helpful. The welcome food pack was a lovely and very helpful touch. We completely agree with the previous review. The location was beautiful, very peaceful and convenient, the sunsets stunning. We highly highly recommend this villa (and the owner!). Thank you!
Hi Nick, many thanks for your review, your comments are greatly appreciated. We are so pleased that you all enjoyed your holidays at our property.
Our stay at montevista
We've just returned from a fantastic holiday based at the Villa Montevista in Montefalcione. The owner, Ralph met us just outside of town, took us to the villa & explained everything about the property. He was really friendly, helpful & easy to contact by text throughout our stay, and being “a local” was also able to give us some good tips about visiting places of interest nearby including local markets (Montefalcione on a Monday morning is a must). Ralph had also provided us with a “welcome food pack” with the basics to get us started – very useful.
The villa sits perched on the side of a hill with views over the surrounding countryside that you could never tire of - absolutely stunning! An added bonus is the western looking aspect so the sunsets are also spectacular. The villa was beautiful, in excellent condition, well decorated, well-appointed and very spacious with plenty of room for our family of five. It has all of the facilities a family would need, including some inflatables for the pool for the kids (young & old). The patio area with the swimming pool was great with lots of space, sunbeds, an outdoor dining table & a lovely pool – well used by the whole family. We cooked & ate at the villa a couple of times, plenty of pots & pans etc, but the icing on the cake was sitting outside, eating at the patio table & watching the sun setting over the mountains in the West – really beautiful.
We used the villa primarily as a base to visit all of the main sights: Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius, Sorrento, Capri, the Amalfi Coast, Ravello (our favourite) and Naples as well as some of the local towns: Montefalcione, Grottaminarda (fantastic cake shop), Marabella & Benevento. All were in easy reach with nowhere more than an hour and a half away. Driving is relatively easy but be prepared for some scary moments if you venture along the Amalfi coast road, into Naples or Herculaneum. The whole region has stunning scenery & and the villa is perfectly located to take it all in.
We loved the holiday, loved the villa & have many great memories (not to mention about a million photographs) of our stay in Campania. Thanks Ralph for making our stay so perfect.
Many thanks Mark for your review much appreciated. I am very pleased to hear that you all enjoyed your stay at our property and that it also gived you the perfect location for getting around and visiting all the sites you have mentioned not forgetting the much enjoyed watching the beautiful sun sets over the mountains while you were eating on the patio ( this is also my favourite time of the day ). Once again thank you and best regards Ralph.
Villa in Montefaciano
We had a lovely holiday in Montefaciano. Ralph met us when we arrived although it was late and he was very friendly and helpful throughout our holiday. We were grateful to find provisions waiting for us at the villa.
The villa was lovely; clean, beautifully decorated, equipped with everything we needed and very spacious. We cooked. For ourselves nearly every evening and found plenty of pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses etc. although there were 2 other couples holidaying with us, we did not argue over the master bedroom as all the bedrooms were equally well decorated.
We ate outside nearly every evening as the early evenings were not cold. The nights were cool and made sleeping easy.
We enjoyed the terrace and the swimming pool during the day and watching the swallows diving in the morning and afternoon.
Our daughter Fran and her cousin Meg wanted to keep in contact with friends back home and therefore most days we walked to Montefaciano to use the free wifi at the local public house, the Dragonfly. The walk took under 1/2 hour and was enjoyable. We recommend the butchers shop we used for 2 barbeques we had. We also bought some very nice crusty rolls from the butchers.
We travelled to Pompeii, Versuvius, Herculaneum, Sorrento and Benevito. The only negative we could think of during the holiday was that the roads around Naples were extremely busy with erratic Italian drivers. Only the brave should consider driving through Naples especially during busy periods. Luckily the airport is south of Naples and so the drive to they villa is ok.
We found the historical sites, Pompeii and Herculaneaum, without too much difficulty but had trouble finding parking at Pompeii. If anyone wants to avoid driving around, we recommend parking at the railway station.
We loved Sorrento and saw the coastline for the first time on a beautiful sunny day. The sky and sea were a glorious blue. We took a boat trip around the amalfi coast and around Capri in a private boat. Our Captain was friendly, knowledgeable and could speak good English.
We would highly recommend the villa in Montefaciano to anyone wanting to visit Southern Italy.
Thank you very much Ralph for all your help.
