About Ron Taylor-Walker
Owned by the Directors of Home Estate Agents, Warrington Cheshire. Avenue Cottage was a labour of love taking nearly a year to reform and is a property we are very proud of. Join us and make this your Home from Home......
Ron Taylor-Walker purchased this Cottage in 2010
Why Ron Taylor-Walker chose Masham
Masham which is pronounced MAS HAM is a beautiful village and only takes minutes to walk to from the cottage. It has a lovely square. 4 Great Pubs. 2 Breweries and Restaurants. Come and see for yourself and like us, you will fall in love with the area. Walkers, there are several walks that run along the River Ure. The cottage is the last house leaving the village so the walks are from the doorstep. Cyclists, the Tour de France passed by the cottage in 2014 so you can ride the same route yourself.
What makes this Cottage unique
Great location. Beautiful walks. Wonderful village. Easy to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Short drive to Ripon, Harrogate and all the region has to offer.

Excellent break in beautiful cottage
Exceptionally spacious, well equipped and extremely comfortable cottage in one of our favourite areas. Despite a fair bit of rain (we were unable to make use of the various outdoor seating areas), we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. A great deal of thought and care has gone into the design, furnishings and facilities. We certainly plan to return!
Hi John & Ann, thank you so much for the positive review, really pleased you had a such a nice time at the cottage. I will be in touch with more news on the cottage in the future. Thank you again. Ron
Fabulous property. (The photo doesn't do it justice!)
This is a fabulous house - spacious, well equipped, spotlessly clean, thoughtfully and carefully refurbished, and amazingly comfortable. It's less than five minutes walk to the shops, cafes and pubs, and the countryside round about is simply stunning. It all made for a wonderfully relaxing holiday. Can't recommend it highly enough.
Outstanding cottage. Highly recommend.
Had a wonderful week at Avenue Cottage. Very spacious and exceptionally clean. Very much home to home. Loved sitting in the orangery with a glass of wine. Beautiful walks around the river. Would definitely return.
Nice property. Good location, plenty to see and do in the area
Good house, well equipped and good location close to local amenities.
Thank you for the positive review. I am really pleased you enjoyed your stay at the cottage and the surrounding areas. Kind regards, Ron.
It was a most pleasurable experience from the moment we entered
The cottage was spotless. It possessed all the amenities required. The beds were comfortable to enable s good night's sleep. The living room was spacious. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped - ask my son as he is a qualified chef. The property is close to all village amenities. The White Bear is 3 minutes walk as is the Co-op and the village is well equipped. I can only give superlatives for the cottage so suffice to say you will enjoy your stay here.
Thanks so much for your wonderful review. I am really glad you and the family all enjoyed Christmas at the cottage and Masham itself. Happy New Year to you and yours!
