The garden is grass and borders The lawn area is elevated and accessed by 3 steps. Patio furniture available. There may be a marquee on the lawn area during the summer months. Bus services Nos. 20, 20A and 300 run past the property; timetables are at the house. Dogs on leads are allowed on buses at the discretion of the driver; there are no time restrictions.

The property is a few minutes’ drive from the M1 motorway giving easy access to Manchester, Leeds, York and Sheffield’s Meadowhall shopping centre:

• From the north, exit at J37 on to the A628 towards Manchester, approx. 7 miles

• From the south, exit at J35a on to the A616 towards Manchester then A629 Huddersfield and A 628, approx. 10.5 miles

Further Details:

Up to two medium sized dogs can be accommodated but not allowed in the drawing room, dining room or upstairs. Water and food bowls are available on request and feeding should be confined to the kitchen. Dog beds are not provided. You should bring protective throws for furniture if your dog is likely to jump onto it.

Thurlstone has a Post Office, Bakery and small grocers. There is a full range of shops in Penistone, including butchers and supermarkets as well as Banks and a Cinema.
