Detached, 4 bedrooms, sleeps 8, 3.5 bathrooms, heated swimming pool & garde

La Sabana is a luxury 260m² villa on an elevated plot (1200m²) with fantastic uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean. Its landscaped gardens directly lead down to the sea front. The beach is only a short walkway and a few steps from the end of the garden.

The three-floor villa is fully furnished and air-conditioned (included in price). The spacious open plan sitting room and sizeable dining kitchen are connected to a covered veranda through two large patio doors making the most of the stunning open views. The veranda with sitting and dining areas overlooks the above average sized heated swimming pool and the seafront. A barbecue corner is provided and there is a discrete shower adjacent to the swimming pool.

A television in the sitting room as well as a satellite receiver, CD player & an apple box are provided. WiFi is available (free). Pool heating during cold season is available for the whole period by prior arrangement (This incurs a fee for the whole period to cover expenses).

Two of the bedrooms, which have their own en suite facilities, overlook the sea and share a seafront balcony.

There is off street parking (3 cars).

About Bee

The owners (Bee and her husband) are a professional couple who live and work in the UK. They fell in love with Lasabana while on holiday in Cyprus and acquired it as a holiday home for them and their three sons to enjoy. .

Bee purchased this villa in 2010

Why Bee chose Coral Bay Area

Due to work commitments, the family are not able to use the villa as much as they would like to. However they are happy to share it with guests who appreciate a private and tranquil setting with uninterrupted stunning views of the mediterranean. Since purchasing the place in 2010, various updating and improvement projects have been undertaken. The latest of which is provision of heating for the swimming pool (2016).

What makes this villa unique

In addition to the above, the position of this detached villa is very convenient for the airport, coral bay and Paphos irrespective of whether the guests choose to hire a car or not. Buses are frequent and for those with a car/s, there is space to park up to 3 cars. The villa has abundance of outside space and beautiful well maintained gardens. Shops, restaurants and beaches are either within walking distance or a very short drive / ride (by car or bus).

The kitchen is equipped with all the equipments and provisions required by guests.

Potential guests are advised to read the reviews which speak for themselves.

Furthermore, communication with Bee and her villa managers is easy. Bee supplies precise information to visitors and responds promptly to all e mails generated by potential and confirmed guests.

Guests are assured of a very clean and well set accomodation. Bee can also organise transport from and to the airport for those who wish. She is also happy to organise a shopping list for guests who require such service.

Lovely holiday at La Sabana

We had a lovely holiday at La Sabana, 10 days was not long enough. Bee was always quick to respond to any communications. We had the pool heated on Bee's recommendation and it was used by all six of us every day including a quick dip on arrival. The location of the property is stunning and this was one of the best properties we have ever rented. The managers, Marcus and Tandy were very helpful. Philippos supermarket is 5 minutes drive up the main road and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. We walked to Doria Restaurant, positioned by the sea, 10 minutes up the road towards Paphos (turn right at traffic lights) their meals were delicious and service was excellent. Our son and his wife ate at Sonny's this was also very good.

We would consider renting La Sabana again if we return to Cyprus.

Holiday Villa

The villa is situated in a convienient spot with lots of good amenities close by. It was clean and very well presented with a great view to look out on. We spent a welcome two weeks in the sun this summer and made good use of the pool. The owner was very quick with communications and gave lots of helpful tips.

5 Star Luxury.

We absolutely loved our stay here. This is a stunning villa with views to die for. The villa is situated just off the main road between paphos and coral bay, and overlooks the bay. The standard of fixtures and fittings was very good indeed and the owner has gone to great lengths to ensure guests have a wonderful stay. It really does have everything, notes were there with instructions for everything.. Quality bedding and good airconditioning. The swimming pool was bigger than some hotels we have been in. We hired a car, and there is good sheltered parking on the grounds. I have nothing negative to say about this villa, except for the fact that we had to leave. First class, well done owner.

Perfect Villa in Great Location

Just returned from 2 fantastic weeks at La Sabana, now debating when we can go back!!

The owner Bee was very professional from the initial enquiry, right through to our return, answering all queries promptly and efficiently. Bee also arranged the airport transfer for us. Chris collected us at the airport , and after walking to the mini bus in the mid afternoon heat, he offered us a choice of freezing cold water or lager which was a very welcome gesture.

The villa was more than we hoped for, superb location, outstanding views and fully equipped with everything we required for a relaxing fortnight in the sun.

We spent many an evening sat on the veranda sampling the local wines and firing up the BBQ. Most days were spent relaxing around the pool. The men in our party did hire mountain bikes for 4 days and explored the local region. We hired the biked through www mountain bike cyprus com. The bikes were supplied complete with helmets, all emergency kit and even hydration packs and Alan was informative of the surrounding areas and gave excellent advice. We would highly recommend to anyone thinking of hiring bikes.

One of our concerns before we arrived was if we would be able to manage without hiring a car, but the bus service is very reliable and only €1.50 a journey on air conditioned buses. We also took advantage of Phillipos Supermarket delivery service. They are based in Coral Bay and if you spend more than €50 they will deliver you and your shopping back to the villa, free of charge and even help you carry the shopping into the villa.

We didn’t venture too far from the villa when eating out. We had a couple of snacks at ‘See You To The Beach’ bar, which was lovely to sit and relax whilst looking out to the sea. We also had several wonderful meals at Sonny’s restaurant. The steaks were some of the best we had ever tasted, we can’t wait to go back to eat there again.

We would highly recommend La Sabana for a perfect villa, set in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday experience here and could have quite happily stayed longer!

Cyprus Holiday 2016

We have traveled and stayed in Cyprus for the past 12 years, previously staying in "James's Villas" they were comfortable and pleasant, however after staying at La Sabana Villa in 2015, we have been spoilt! It is obvious on entry that this is an elegant luxurious home and not a holiday let accommodation. The house and gardens are of an exceptional standard, the beds are of high quality and not just adequate for a short stay. It truly is a pleasure retuning from dinner to the gorgeous views over the sea or to sit on the terrace and watch the sun set over the water! These are the qualities that had us return in 2016 for our summer holiday!

We plan to return again next year, as simply the facilities can't be beaten!

Beatiful Villa With Stunning Views

We arrived late on a Thursday night and were collected by Chris, the taxi driver arranged by Bee. It's difficult to get your bearings at night, but Chris kindly took us to a small supermarket near the villa and told us that it was open 24 hours.

Having always stayed in hotels or apartment complexes before, I was slightly apprehensive about the idea of staying in a Villa. I needn't have worried, as this turned out to be one of the best holidays we've had.

The villa itself is spread over 3 floors. On the ground floor, there is a large kitchen/diner, equipped with everything you're likely to need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The living area is set a couple of steps down from here and has a large screen TV and seating for all guests. The has Apple TV connected to it and you can watch UK broadcast TV by connecting your iPhone/iPad to it. We actually brought another IPTV box with us, which provided access to all UK Sky channels and kept the kids happy at night. It has to be said that the Internet here is extremely reliable. It doesn't boast lightning speed, but happily allowed up 3 devices to stream TV at any one time. It works equally well on all 3 floors.

We elected to take the basement, as we had 2 younger children with us, while my sister and brother-in-law took the upstairs rooms with my 13 year-old niece. Despite the lack of views from the basement, it is significantly cooler than anywhere else in the house and didn't require air-con to sleep. The rooms upstairs offer stunning views over the bay.

These views can also be seen from the patio area outside and near the pool. The pool was an ideal size for kids' fun and was a good place to spot lizards and even the occasional snake!

There a plenty of smaller local 'supermarkets', but these can be incredibly expensive. One example of this, was an unbranded frozen pizza that I picked up, which cost €9.70. I quickly put it back, as you could get one made for you in a restaurant for €6-7. My advice would be to avoid these supermarkets altogether, except for emergencies. Philippos, in Coral Bay, can be reached by local bus for €1.50. They'll then take you home with your shopping, provided you spend over €50.

I'd recommend buses to Paphos & Coral Bay. We always paid €1.50 (adult) & €0.75 (kids).

All in all, we loved it and will definitely return.

The supermarket is not far and the lift they provide is very helpful to those without cars. As you said, with such low prices and frequency of buses, a car is not necessary. The villa is in an ideal location at the Coral Bay area, which is south west of Cyprus. It is only 20 km from Paphos airport and 8 km from the Town Centre. Coral bay with its famous safe sandy beach, restaurants, bars, shops and banks is only 3.5 km away. A regular bus service to Paphos and to Coral Bay is available near by.

This part of Cyprus is well known for its mild and sunny climate throughout most of the year, which makes it an ideal location for couples of all ages on a relaxing or romantic holiday as well as for families with children. For those who want a more energetic holiday there is trekking, climbing, skiing, fishing, water sports and golfing. An excellent motorway system is a bonus connecting Paphos to the modern cosmopolitan cities of Limasol and Nicosia (1 and 2 hours drive respectively).

Golf: There are 4 main golf courses (Aphrodite Hills, Minthis Hills , Elea and Secret Valley).

Aphrodite Hills: an 18-hole golf course, designed by acclaimed course architect, Cabell B. Robinson. Five years in the making, it follows the scenic contours of the two plateaux, its challenging fairways cutting a swathe through lakes, olive and carob trees. No wonder the course has taken its rightful place among the very best the Mediterranean can offer.

The Minthis Hills (formerly knows as Tsada) golf club: set in the grounds of a 12th century monastery which lies in a gentle picturesque valley, 550m above sea level. It offers superb variety as no 2 holes are the same & is suitable for players of all abilities. The fairways are lined with thousands of trees & scattered with sand bunkers and the undulating greens have perfect putting surfaces. Practice facilities including driving range, 2 putting greens, a pitching/chipping area, practice bunkers. Golf clinics available; pro-shop. Elegant clubhouse with restaurant, bar,

ladies and gents changing rooms with showers. Tennis court and outdoor swimming pool available for after the game or non-golfers. Players without handicap certificate can play after 12 noon on request, according to availability.

Elea Golf Course: designed by Nick Faldo and caters for all abilities.

Secret Valley: Championship Course in a spectacular setting

Ski: Cyprus is a wonderful island of contrasts. Where else could you ski or snowboard in the morning and then be sunning yourself by the pool or on the beach in the afternoon? During December the Troodos Mountains are covered in snow and there are a number of ski slopes that you can use right through until March.

Troodos Mountains are home to Mount Olympus (altitude 6402 ft) which has a cap of snow for 3 to 4 months of the year and is where the ski resort is based. Equipment hire is available and the prices are terrific value compared with Alpine slopes.

Notes:
Older children are welcome but the parents/carers must take sole responsibility for their safety particularly in relation to the swimming pool which is open and has no barrier surrounding it. Smoking is only acceptable outdoors with responsible disposal of cigarettes and ash. The back garden is made up of plant beds covered by pebbles that are separated by foot paths. There are sun beds and patio furniture. A barbecue and a pool side shower are available.
