About Lisbeth Howard

I am a local woman, and my apartment is a self-contained part of my own home. I am very happy to be available to help with your holiday plans and daily needs, or to leave you in privacy to enjoy your holiday. I am always on hand to deal with any problems. I have a great deal of local knowledge and can point you in the right direction to suit your own interests, and help you to take advantage of everything this wonderful county has to offer, whatever the weather. I am happy to have well behaved dogs to stay as well as their owners! I am a great walker and spend many hours walking the coastpaths of West Penwith. You are welcome to join me. I look forward to meeting you and sharing my lovely county.

Lisbeth Howard purchased this apartment in 2000

Why Lisbeth Howard chose South West Cornwall

I bought my house when my cottage in the village became too small for my requirements. I am locally born and bred, with family history going back as far as we can trace in this area, and have had great fun researching my family tree. I lived for several years in London when I was younger, and though I enjoyed the experience I was glad to return to this area, which is very close to my heart.

What makes this apartment unique

Although the house is relatively modern this means it has light and space, lovely views and plenty of parking, which many of the more traditional properties in the village can't offer. It is convenient for access to the village, but away from the traffic and crowds, so you get the best of both worlds. I can offer a fully serviced apartment, completely self-catering or something in between. As I am on-site it is easy to ask for any extras you may require, such as extra towels, a service wash, ironing or collection from walks or the station if you come by train. Dog walking and babysitting is also available. There is a welcome pack containing local produce, and tea, coffee and condiments are supplied.

Excellent Week

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a week and it exceeded expectations. The flat is great, with a large spacious living room (with balcony) with stunning views overlooking Mousehole harbour, as well as a lovely kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The owner was very helpful and more than happy to assist with any questions. Mousehole itself is a quaint fishing village, very relaxing to wander round with numerous independent shops, and some excellent pubs & restaurants.

Highly recommended!

lovely accomodation with great view

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I plus our small well behaved doggie enjoyed 4 nights stay Fri 13th to Tues 17th Jan. The view from the living room over the habour was great as was the living room. On the Saturday night i lit the open fire making for a very warm and cosy evening. Lots of local information leaflets made very good reading and other booklets. Plus don't bother with bringing any books with you as ample reading material if you have time to read that is. Welcome pack included eggs and local bacon, milk, butter and other bits and bobs. Thanks very much for a lovely stay. Great starting point for touring the local area. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Lovely views, nice large apartment

  • 5 of 5

This apartment was really nice, large, good views and well furnished. The parking was right outside the gate which was very handy. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was nice and warm for our winter visit, there was also an open wood fire which we used in the evening. The scones, cream and jam were a lovely touch for our arrival. The owner greeted us on our arrival and asked if all was OK and we would use this property again if we visited Mousehole.

Property with brilliant views above Mousehole

  • 4 of 5

The property is at the top of a modern estate on the edge of Mousehole with brilliant views over the village and Mounts Bay. It is an easy walk into the village but a bit steep on the way back. If the weather is bad there is no need to go out, you can sit in the lounge/dinner and watch the view through the large corner windows. There is parking in the road outside the house, which is the last property in the road at the top of the hill. There are several good cafes and restaurants in the village. An excellent property.

We were very pleased to turn up at the apartment, after a long drive to Mouse hole, it was very welcoming...... bright, airy & clean & well equipped!

This made a great base to explore this lovely part of Cornwall.

You will never tire of the outstanding view..... such an asset.

Will definitely return at some point & will bring our Border Terrier next time!

Mousehole village has its own small, safe, sandy beach within the harbour area. There are also two pebbly beaches and a small, natural, seawater bathing pool on the rocks. Perfect for rockpooling, sunbathing, snorkelling or swimming. There are even resident seals on the island outside the harbour which often swim close to the beaches. The south west coastal path runs through the village. All these are within 5 minutes able bodied walking distance from the apartment.
