Clover Cottage is in a lovely village called Galmpton Nr Brixham. Drive or Walk to the beaches off the Brixham to Torquay road or to the Agatha Christies Estate for a days sight seeing. Greenway Quay is a further 10min walk to the River Dart. Take the ferry to the FBI pub/restaurant or crabbing on the Quay. Take a ferry up to the beautiful Dartmouth for food, drinks, shopping or just looking. From Dartmouth take the ferry to Totnes along the River Dart and the train back called "the round robin" Or hire a small boat and explore the River Dart.Further afield is a drive to Blackpool Sands for a day out or Salcombe about 1hr drive.

We bought Clover Cottage in August 2011 and turned it into a 3 double bedroom family house.We use the cottage whenever we can during winter & summer months with our family & friends. The cottage is a fantastic base for us to visit all of the South Devon Coast & inland to Dartmoor. We have been visiting the Devon Coastline for 40 years on holidays. 15 years ago we found Galmpton & Dartmouth & the River Dart. Dartmouth is a very busy town especially in the summer months so when we found Galmpton which is a quiet village we decided to buy Clover Cottage.

We fell in love with Clover Cottage because of its location in the quiet village of Galmpton. The cottage is well placed for people who rent for walking to nearby towns and villages or driving and sightseeing. You can park your car and not use it again till you go home. There are plenty of walks depending how far you want to go. We always want to explore the River Dart and the cottage is 10min walk to the trail which can be followed for miles or take your car on the winding country roads.
What makes this Cottage unique
Clover Cottage in Galmpton is very easy to find. Just off the A379 Torquay to Brixham main road. It has a parking place at the side and another in front of the house. Shops include a butchers, village stores, post office & hairdressers. The Manor Inn / pub / restaurant / hotel is within 5 mins walk.

A delightful roomy cottage with all the amenities you would want. Lovely comfy bedding.
Plenty of room in the cottage. Very clean and It was apparent that owners wished to make our stay as comfortable as possible with the provision of milk on arrival, selection of games dvd player etc. Lovely patio area, my only slight criticism is that whilst respecting your no smoking policy in the cottage it would have been nice to have a small covered area in the garden for when it was raining.
Lovely cottage in great location to explore Torbay
We had a great time! The cottage is beautiful and in a lovely village just off the main road between Brixham and Paignton so a great location for visiting all over Torbay. Great facilities at the cottage and very well equipped. Our young children struggled a bit with the steep stairs but it didn’t spoil our enjoyment of being there. Would definitely recommend - thank you!

Exceeded our expectations. Beautifully clean throughout. Very welcoming first impression. Well stocked inc milk in fridge. Quiet location. Lovely garden. Cottage central to many attractions. We have had a relaxed and happy holiday. Four delighted adults.
Fabulous stay in a character cottage
We had a wonderful time in Steve and Jane’s home. They could not have been more welcoming, assisting with great ideas for days out and making us feel ‘at home’.
The weather was kind to us after the first few days and we really enjoyed sitting out on their patio which gets the sun for most of the day. The home is well equipped and provided everything we needed for our holiday. We enjoyed the village and its pubs as well as walking to Churston Court. Greenway is also in easy walking distance.
We would definitely rent again.
