I currently live in Dublin with my wife and 2 children. Working for ourselves, we decided that we wanted a bolt hole for when we need to recharge our batteries. Having first gone to Portugal in 1997 we fell in love with the country and decided this was where we wanted to invest. We discovered Lagos in 2006 and knew we wanted to purchase a property there. We chose our apartment because of its fantastic location, every time we go to Lagos it's like home from home. We never seem to tire of Lagos, and when leaving we are already planning our next visit. Having visited many other countries, the one thing that we can honestly say is that Lagos is not over-developed and there is still a sense of community, with the locals welcoming all visitors.

We purchased the property because of its fantastic location and the five star facilities that it offers, all of which have not disappointed. The complex is well managed in the hope that all visitors and owners are not disappointed with their visit. Lagos is a fantastic location, offering both peace and quite and yet has so much to offer. The old town has a medieval theme and has lost none of its' charm in the 21st century. With plenty of restaurants to try, all only a five minute stroll from the apartment. Bliss indeed.
What makes this Apartment unique
We are extremely fortunate with our apartment. We have a superb cafe on site which offers a fantastic choice of food. We have both an indoor and outdoor pool, a fully equipped gym, our own secure car parking place. The complex is truly a five star standard. Next to the complex is a supermarket which always seems to come in handy. Every convenience has been taken care of. Near enough to the crowds, but yet far enough away for peace.

Excellent and spacey Lagos apartment
We had an extended stay in Lagos, so spent over ten weeks in this apartment. Lots of plus points: it's larger than most two bed apartments; location is excellent (and BTW I'd prefer to stay here than around the actual marina); the block is well-maintained; the apartment is well-equipped and things work; the wi-fi is much better than in most Portuguese properties; and the agents (Sylvester and Carol) are very helpful and respond promptly.
Two minor points, which TBH probably only arose because of when and how we long we stayed, are that you don't get the sun on the balcony at the start (and presumably also the end) of the year - my guess is that by, say, May with a higher sun it will be fine - and the TV system has its idiosyncrasies, but once again if you are here for, say, two weeks over summer wouldn't really bother anyone.

Spacious apartment in perfect location!
This apartment is beautiful, very large and immaculate. It’s located close to the marina and an easy walk to downtown. Very quiet building and we enjoyed the balcony. There is an excellent restaurant (steak house called Bransons) in the corner of the building. We did not use the swimming pools.
Sylvester was very helpful, showed us how to use everything and gave us tips and directions. We made changes to our reservation and the owner was very accommodating which we did appreciate. We would definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends and would stay there again.
The apartment has a well stocked kitchen with pots, dishes, glasses, utensils, etc. Lovely balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee. After a long day a dip in the outdoor pool was refreshing. A few minutes walk to a grocery store, downtown, the bus station, and to the footbridge to the marina area and Meia Praia. Highly recommend!

To our pleasant surprise the apartment was larger than we expected. The apartment is equipped with all the general items you need on your vacation. The owners as well as the property manager were available when a question was asked and we enjoyed our time here immensely. Would recommend this apartment with out any hesitation. the only thing that would be nice, but seemed to be the norm in every vrbo rental we stayed in Portugal.. is that there were never any face clothes, nor kitchen counter top wash cloth.Just a simple everyday item, but it seemed to missing every where we stayed.

Very well kept building and apartment was comfortable although little things like the ceiling light fixtures need attention,the beds are squeaky and a bit tired,but overall worth the price.
The Algarve has a host of beautiful sandy beaches. Lagos is lucky to have 2 of the most beautiful, Meia Praia and Praia Batata.
Faro is the nearest airport, about 80 Km away. The A22 Motorway will get you there in approximately 50 mins. Transfers to the apartment can be via taxi, airport shuttle (bus) or hire car. Once at the apartment a car is not necessary as everything is within walking distance.
The Old Town of Lagos is 10 minutes walk, it contains many historical buildings including the castle wall and fort. With cobbled streets filled with bars and restaurants. The Marina is only 5 mins walk over the pedestrian bridge and has its own selection of bars and restaurants. There are a number of Supermarkets only a couple of minutes walk away.
Lagos Area has many things to offer for many different types of holiday. There are sightseeing opportunities with an area steeped in local history. We have 2 beautiful beaches for the sun worshipers. We have Golf for the enthusiasts. We have all that a major Marina can offer, with boat trips to secluded grottos and trips to see the local dolphins. We have theme parks and a local zoo for the kids, along with a play area within a secure complex. We even have peace and quiet if you want that too.

Booking Notes: Booking Enquiries by way of email preferably or telephone. A non-refundable Booking Deposit of 30% is required to secure a confirmed booking. The balance of 70% to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival date. A security deposit of €200 is required against damage or cleaning issues. Fully refunded when Agent confirms all is well, this sum is payable with the 70% balance. Flexibility on less than 1 week may be possible, especially out of the main season. Changeover Day: Changeover day flexible. Apartment to be vacated by 11.00 am. Arrival 3.00pm onwards. Notes on prices: Prices are based on a occupancy of up to 4 people. For extra guest, a maximum of 2, will be charged at an additional cost of €60 per additional bed space provided. Payment by bank transfer.
