Comfortable clean apartment
Can’t fault this apartment, a clean comfortable well equipped flat in a good location for all amenities.
Great Apartment. Great owner. Highly recommended
We stayed in Robert's apartment for a week. 2 adults and 2 kids aged 7 and 3. The apartment was perfect for us. Very spacious, very clean, well equipped and a detailed folder with info/instructions on the apartment, along with local info. Robert (the owner) is very helpful, quick to respond and he let us stay late on our final day (until 7.30pm) which wae agreed with the property manager too, who was also very good.
The apartment has everything needed. Plenty of plates and cutlery, saucepans, etc. Washing machine, plenty of linen including towels. There is a handy store room. The place is a 20 minute walk to the harbour (directions provided), the pool area was brilliant. Not too busy, safe and relaxing. I would highly recommend Robert's apartment and Eylisia Park in general. We had a fantastic time. Thank you Robert!
thank you for your kind words, it is very pleasing to find out that all our hard work and our managers has paid off and you have enjoyed your holiday without any problems. when the new spa and gym open at the end of September it should be even better
Lovely apartment and complex!
We had a lovely time at Robert's apartment at Elysia Park. When we arrived it was very clean, and had all the basics we needed for our stay including towels. We arrived late at night, and we felt at home right away. The kitchen was equipped with everything most people would need, including a washing machine. Both the bedrooms and lounge had working air conditioners. There are two balconies in the apartment, the main one has a dining table and chairs, as well as two loungers. This was lovely, and has a view of the sunset over the sea in the distance. Sitting here with a glass of wine and a book was a perfect holiday moment! The bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space and comfortable beds. There's a double and a twin room, which we had for our two daughters. There might be a shortage of sockets in the bedrooms for your gadgets if you charge things by your bed overnight, but there are a couple of extensions/adapters in drawers if you need them (it's a standard UK plug in Cyprus). The TV was nicely set up to see lots of English channels. We did get some freezing and stuttering in busy action scenes from the set top box, which was slightly annoying, but not a big deal. The complex itself is really modern. There are two pool areas - each also has a small, shallow pool for younger children. They were clean and well maintained, and were wonderfully warm in the August heat of Cyprus! The only thing the complex was really missing is a restaurant. Luckily, they are presently building a restaurant and gym - I'm not sure when it will be ready. There’s a place down the road called Tasty, just outside the car gate, which sells kebabs, burgers and so on. Open late. Good pork kebabs. We’d also recommend Pambis Diner, which is one of the closest proper restaurants, 10m walk away. It’s got a resident parrot which entertained the kids! There’s no large supermarket nearby, but are two kiosks less than 5m walk away. They are good enough for basics. The best supermarkets we found were the large Papantoniou near the harbour (lots of choice), and Lidl, out towards Tomb of The Kings. The harbour is within walking distance, but too far for two young children in August heat. Parking is free, so we mostly drove down there, it’s a 5m drive.
thank you for taking the time to write your review. we are pleased everything was to your satisfaction and you enjoyed your time at the complex. we have been promised by the developer that the spa, indoor pool and gym will be finished at the end of September so will be available for use after that date. there are some commercial units on the site that will be sold to private companies and it is hoped that they will include a bakery and restaurant amongst other trading outlets that should add to guests choices.
Accommodation was really good and instructions for arrival excellent.
Very please with our stay in the apartment and we got what we expected to get. Wi-fi was reliable and that was important with 2 children and I also had to do some work. The pool area was a problem at times as there was a shortage of sun beds and people ‘reserved ‘ the beds despite reception advising them not too and don’t believe any action was being taken. Overall more than happy
Thank you for your comments. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and all was well with our apartment and the resort. Further to your remarks about the bed's around the pool we have supplied our own for future guests. Sorry you were affected this time but we do try to respond to suggestions so hope you will come again.
Fantastic apartment on an excellent complex
We have just returned from a fantastic relaxing holiday at Elysia Park. This is an exceptional apartment with everything you could need for a stress free holiday - sea and sunset balcony view, reliable air conditioning, Internet, TV, spacious and well equipped. This is our second visit to Elysia Park which is in a peaceful location but only a walk away from the resort centre. There are two large pool areas available for use in immaculate garden areas with an abundance of sunbeds. Thank you for making this apartment available for rental and for ensuring that we had all of the information we needed prior to travelling. We hope to return in the future.
we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and found everything to your satisfaction
next year the facilities should be better when spa, gym etc. is completed
thank you for taking the time to do the review
Wonderful stay and will definitely be back
Roberts apartment is is a comfortable and homely apartment and has everything you need in a holiday rental. It was decent in size for our party of 4, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The apartment is immaculately clean and is well stocked with the items you may need when away from home. This was our second stay at Elysia Park and won't be our last. The complex is in a great location, very quiet but not too far away from restaurants and Paphos centre. Robert is a very helpful host and was happy to answer any questions we had, he also refunded the security deposit very quickly on our return home. We will be returning, hopefully sooner rather than later.
it is always nice to receive such a positive review and we appreciate you taking the time to write it
we endeavour to be as helpful as we can be and our local manager does the same
1km to beach and harbour area.
10km to Paphos airport.
car not essential but there is a reserved car park space if required.
buses stops are close at hand.
Golf course 8km.
There are many nearby activities including cycling, diving, fishing, paragliding, sailing, surfing, karting, swimming, walking, water skiing as well as well as snowboarding and skiing in the Troodos Mountains during the winter.
The paphos area is surrounded by a beautiful coastline including ‘Turtle Bay’, a nesting place and hatchery for turtles. The Akamis Peninsula is a large protected area with secluded beaches.
Diving - not everyone’s immediate choice for a diving holiday, but Cyprus diving schools are great for beginners, featuring Maninji Island, the Akamas peninsula and Coral Bay.
Churches and monasteries - few visitors can fail to be moved by the amazing monasteries found in the Cyprus mountains. Try Ayios Ioannis, Trooditissa, Machairas and 11th century Kykko Monastery, the largest and most famous in Cyprus. The entire island is dotted with gorgeous Byzantine churches.
Watersports - Cyprus beaches offer idyllic conditions for every kind of watersport. The most extensive choice of Cyprus watersports is available in family-orientated resorts like Protaras and Paphos, and larger resorts like Larnaca, Limassol and Ayia Napa. There is superb snorkelling on Cyprus, particularly around Cape Greko near Nissi Bay.
Once the capital of Cyprus, today Paphos is a thriving town with old and new overlapping. Paphos was listed as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1980 and the Kato Paphos Archaeological Site includes sites and monuments from prehistoric times to the middle ages. The superb Roman mosaics of four villas form the centre of the complex.
Within Paphos there are many places to eat with menus to cater for all, lamb, goat and locally caught fish featuring in the local tavernas.
With year round sunshine even the winter is attractive being a little cooler, making it ideal for a golfing holiday at one of the local courses.
Car hire is readily available and can be pre-booked to picked up from Paphos airport that is only a twenty minute drive.
