Why Ray Cahoon chose Paphos

We chose Cyprus initially because of the all year round sunshine, ease of communication with local residents, and warmth of the local people to visitors. We chose Paphos in particular because of it's unique blend of old and new; it's first class facilities; excellent transport links; ease of access to the sea and the mountains, and a number of sites of historical and archaeological interest. Paphos international airport is just 20 minutes from the property. We also found this development desirable because of its proximity to Paphos town center, sea front and local shops and restaurants.

What makes this apartment unique

Situated within easy walking distance of the beach, the pretty harbour and a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants. The property boasts a wide covered veranda overlooking the swimming pool, is tastefully furnished with air-conditioning throughout and satellite television. Communal facilities include swimming pool in landscaped gardens; sauna and gym. Lifts to all floors. Available outdoor pursuits in the area include golfing, water park, walking in the Troodos, and sea sports including boating and deep sea fishing. The beauty of the property is that if you prefer to stay in Paphos, you don't need a vehicle as everything is within easy walking distance. Moreover, excellent bus services cover all tourist sites including nearby Coral Bay.

Outside: Landscaped gardens, and covered area. Large communal pool. Private parking above and u/ground. Utility Cupboard ( on balcony) with mop and bucket, and brush & dustpan. Iron & ironing board, clothes airer, vacuum cleaner - stored in cupboards. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included and laundered between tenants, but can be arranged more often if required. Pool/beach towels also available. Other: Wide covered veranda with dining table and chairs and two sun recliner beds.

Very nice home from home

Just got back from a loverly break at Rays, it was the perfect place to stay for our holiday and would recommend it to all,very spacious apartment with plenty of room for three of us. We just in the right place to walk into harbour and it’s bars and restaurants but away from any hussle and bussell.

It was our first trip to Paphos and we enjoyed the experience beautiful food available all within walking distance and coral bay was amazing for a short bus ride for €1.50!!!

The only downside to me which was a bonus to my partner was the gym was unusable, in saying that it probably made the holiday even better as Alison don’t loose me every day to Gym!!!!!,

Overall everything was perfect and we will be certainly returning next year, well done Ray we very much appreciated our stay and you quick response to everything during or stay and through the booking process,

Wonderful 2 weeks stay in a lovely apartment

The apartment is very well equipped with everything that you may need. It’s got a great big pool which was never crowded. The location of the apartment is very good a steady 10-15 min walk you are at the harbour. We wouldn’t hesitate to tell our family and friends about this apartment and hope to return very soon

Great Apartment, Great Location, Great Holiday

We have just returned from a months stay in this apartment and found it had everything we needed. Nice to have a welcome pack as we arrived at 8pm and didn’t want to venture out first night.

It is in an excellent location off the main tourist part but plus point being away from all the noisy bars. But just a 10 min walk to the harbour, a small supermarket just behind the complex and a restaurant just up the road. Swimming pool looked great (we didn’t use it) but it was rarely used; lovely terrace with large table and chairs. We were there in February so the terrace didn’t get much sun but am sure later in the year you could spend all day out there.

Having WI-Fi was great. There were a few teething problems with the TV as it was a new system but they were soon sorted. Plenty of cupboard space and water pressure in showers was brilliant. Nice to have a dishwasher and washing machine as well.

Plenty of parking if you hire a car and the local taxi man lives on same floor so we used him to get back to the Airport (Michaels Taxis)

Ray is great at responding to emails and also the info supplied beforehand was excellent.

Never been away for month before or booked a private apartment but would definitely recommend it and would certainly return to the apartment

Everything you need for a great holiday! Spacious, clean, great pool and close to amenities.

For our first holiday to Cyprus we could not of asked for more. We ( 2 adults 2 teenage boys) spent just a week in Rays apartment which was fab. Loads of space, all the equipment you could need even down to ice packs, picnic bags and beach towels we even made use of the hat as forgot my own! The pool area is brilliant and the week we were there we were on most days the only users. The apartment is in a great location a small supermarket-but with all you could need including fresh fruit and veg just 5 minutes walk. The walk into the harbour is easy and means you get to wander past plenty of places to eat that are not right on the harbour so are generally cheaper! We hired a car for 3 days which meant we could travel further afield and see more of the area. I would recommend a trip to Omodos which is up into the mountains about an hour away. The car hire people recommend a few places which we also visited. A great holiday I would recommend Rays apartment to friends and family.

Paphos International Airport is about a twenty minutes drive from the property. Route is served by bus and taxi. Car hire is readily available, but not necessary if staying at apartment as all facilities are within easy walking distance.

If needed, No. 603 bus passes end of road every 40 mins.


Property is near center of Paphos and between 500m and 1km from the harbour and old town resp. Coral Bay is approx. 10 km while distance to Troodos National Park is about 45km and Limassol about 60km. Archaelogical sites are within the town of Paphos.

Further Details:

Paphos is well served by local and international banks and major stores inc. international brands such as Debenhams, Next and M&S. The main supermarket chain, Papantoniou, has branch in center of Paphos, with smaller grocery stores closer to the apartment. Most fashionable restaurants are located on the sea front and around the old harbour. Banks and currency exchange outlets are also closeby.
