All of our apartments have been named after famous Irish authors or poets which gives each apartment its own individual personality and gives guests the chance to experience the what it must have been like to live in a Victorian house many years ago.

We have just completed work on our W.B. Yeats and have restored it to some of it's former glory with original features such as the marble fireplaces, coving and a beautiful bay window overlooking Dublin city and mountains.

There is a double bed and a single bed in the main bedroom and there are 2 pull down sofa beds in the living area. This apartment sleeps 6 comfortably.

The James Joyce is located on the ground floor and has the same beautiful features such as the high ceilings, coving and marble fireplaces. This apartment sleeps 6 with 2 double beds in the main bedroom and a pull down sofa bed in the living area for 2 also which means it can sleep 6 in total.

The Samuel Beckett was our first apartment that we developed and has a more modern feel to it but provides every comfort and convenience that you would expect of a luxury holiday let. There is a double and a single bed in the main bedroom and a double pull down sofa bed in the main living area which allows for a total of 5 people to sleep comfortably.

Our Molly Malone studio sleeps 2/3 people comfortably and is the ideal location for exploring the city of Dublin. There is a double bed and a pull down sofa bed that's suitable for 1 person.

The kitchen is fully equipped and there is free WiFi. There is TV/DVD as well as a power shower in the bathroom.

There is a fully equipped kitchen in every apartment and dining area that will cater for all guests and the bathrooms are spacious and modern. For anyone considering an extended stay they can be guaranteed to enjoy all the comforts of home. A cot can be provided upon request.

These apartments have been lovingly restored to a very high degree while retaining a lot of the original features to provide a classic and extremely luxurious stay. All are luxury apartments with all the comforts of home.

It is a wonderful location close to all the attractions and sights while being a relaxing bright and spacious apartment to come home to at the end of the day.

The apartment is in a beautiful large red brick Victorian building on a tree lined street.

Within easy reach of the famous Temple bar area as well as the fabulous restaurants, museums, parks, Trinity College and Library, Farmleigh House and of course shopping that Dublin has to offer.

Easy walk to numerous bus stops and train stations that will connect you with the Luas which will connect you with all of Dublin. There are also a number of great restaurants and pubs within a 10 minute walk from the apartment which we can highly recommend.

You can visit a local pub called the Cobblestone just a short walk away that provides traditional Irish music for your entertainment and is a great night out.

We provide a welcome pack with the basics such as bread and milk etc to get you on your feet.

There is a major supermarket within a 5 minute walk so you will never run out of essentials. All mod cons are provided and there is linen and towels freshly laundered for your use.

For anyone considering exploring Ireland further there is a car hire company close by and Heuston Station is approx 15-20 minute walk.

The famous Guinness Storehouse is close at hand as well as the Jameson Distillery both of which run tours regularly and are worth a visit. Dublin is also renowned for it's famous Temple bar area for entertainment which is a bus ride away. For art lovers the Irish Museum of Modern Art is 15 minutes away and the National Museum of Ireland is 10 minutes away.

Trinity College, Kilmainham Gaol, Ryan's Victorian Pub, St. Patricks Cathedral, are just some other of the many wonderful attractions that are available.

For a small fee we can provide an airport transfer if requested and for anyone hiring a car there is free on street parking right outside the house.

All utilities and WiFi are included in the price also.

We have called this apartment The Samuel Beckett after the Irish novelist. A recently refurbished apartment that sleeps 5 comfortably ideally situated close to the Phoenix Park and Botanic Gardens.

This apartment has recently been refurbished & is finished to a very high spec. All mod cons and comforts of home are provided. Within easy reach of all the fabulous restaurants, museums, parks, Aras an Uachtarain, Farmleigh House & of course shopping that Dublin has to offer.

For anyone considering exploring Ireland further there is a car hire company within easy reach and the train staiton is within easy reach. About Liam Travers

I come from a family background in the hospitality industry.

I grew up in Kildare which is about 45 minutes from Dublin and worked for many years in my parents hotel there.

I emigrated to New York for a number of years and when I returned in 1990 I purchased this property in Dublin City.

As I am a qualified builder and carpenter I undertook to restore this house over a number of years and restore it to some of its former glory. As you can see from the pictures there are a lot of original features which I managed to retain and I am pleased that I can finally share them with people from all over the world.

I am now living in Kildare again and am married with a daughter.

As my parents before me I am committed to providing all of my guests with a wonderful holiday experience in a beautiful period house. I am available at all times for my guest either by phone or email and am happy to answer any query.

Why Liam Travers chose Dublin

I chose this location for the proximity to the city centre and of course the beautiful Victorian Redbrick lined North Circular Road.

These properties are a feature of Dublin and are preserved by Dublin Council. The fact that the Phoenix Park and the Botanic gardens are within walking distances is an absolute plus, providing plenty of recreational activity. Numerous pubs, restaurants are within walking distance and I feel that the house provides a sense of character and charm not matched by modern buildings and houses.

What makes this apartment unique

There are a number of benefits to staying in this property. Located close to the heart of the city of Dublin there is an excellant transport system by bus and light rail that means all of the sights can be visited with the minimum of fuss. The building itself is a beautiful Victorian property that has unique charm while offering all the modern comforts that a guest could expect.

The location is ideal as it is quiet while being convenient to all shopping, sights, transport, museums etc. that makes a holiday. Located beside the Phoenix park which is Europe's largest urban park the traveller can have a taste of the country while still remaining in the city.

There truly is something for everyone.

Estuvimos toda la familia (5 personas) unos días en Dublín y disfrutamos mucho.

El apartamento está muy bien, espacioso, limpio, muy completo y justo al lado de la parada de Bus que te deja en el centro, lo que se agradece cuando vuelves cansado de haber estado todo el día visitando la ciudad. Liam es encantador y nos ayudó a ubicarnos en la zona (tiendas, tarjeta de bus, etc...).

Nice and cosy apartment

Very Nice apartment with a big kitchen. All you need is there. The only minus was the fact that the children had to sleep in the living room and we didn't feel to turn the couch in a bed every day.

Perfect location with a bus stop in front of the door. Supermarket very close by.

For sure we would recommend it!

Wonderfull Dublin

We had a wonderfull week in Dublin. Fantastic apartment, the Samuel Becket, very clean and newly renovated, and will certainly recommend it to friends and family. Liam was there to meet us on arrival. Only thing!! we could have done with an extra set of keys. Very central located, out of city centre and still only 10 min away on the bus, 39 round the corner or 46a just outside the door. Easy shopping at Tesco`s round the corner. Trips to Howt on the Dart train, what a pearl of a place. Wicklow mountains and Cliffs of Moher. Eating and drinking places were all very good-but Temple bar pub, The Cobblestone, Ryan`s, O`neals, the Church and Cafe en Seine stood out. Shopping!! we preffered Henry street, Mary street, Jervis shopping centre all north of the river.We bought 3 day freedom passes to get about on, fantastic way of seeing everything, local busses, airport link, and the green hop on hop off busses, and they take you to all the tourist places, we did a few, some only from the outside. Glencourt apartment certainly made our visit to Dublin very special, lovely base to come home to every night. The 3 Danes.

Samuel Beckett Apt Rentail

The apartment was clean and tidy as outlined in the ad and met our basic needs. The caretaker was kind and let us into the apartment early which was quite appreciated. However, we did find it a bit far from the city centre about a 45minute walk. There was no welcome package as advertised in the ad nor was there any toilet tissue provided ,besides what was on the roll. There was a large amount of garbage in the front yard and odor as you walked up and into the apartment, which was not very welcoming. Unfortunately I would not recommend the apartment to our friends or relatives. I would give it a 2.5 to 3 rating.

This house is a beautiful Victorian building on a tree lined street adjacent to the Phoenix Park and and Botanic Gardens situtated just 10 minutes by bus from the city centre.

There is an excellent public transport service right outside the front door so a car isn't necessary.

There is a major supermarket just 3 minutes walk away as well as a pharmacy, bakery, butchers, medical centre and a laundromat for guests that need this facility.

There are cafes, pubs and restaurants all within easy walking distance (max 10 minutes) and one pub in particular plays traditional Irish music nightly and has to be visited during your stay. It's an old Irish pub and people gather nightly to play here. Not to be missed!

There are also excellent restaurants so if you don't want to cook you could pop into L. Mulligan's Bistro (check out the review it got in the NY Times), Plan B, Cucina, My Thai and various cafes for that all important cup of coffee and chat.

We have eaten in all of these establishments and we couldn't fault any of them so rest assured that you won't be disappointed.

If you plan on eating in the city then it's only a short bus ride or walk to find a wealth of restaurants and places to eat that will take your breath away. The quality and standard of food in Dublin not to mention the variety is second to none so there really is something for everyone.

There are also some takeaways nearby so if you don't want to cook or if you don't want to venture out this is an option also.

All apartment are located in this house which has been lovingly restored to its former glory over the years by myself. Located just 10 minutes from the city centre by bus guests can relax and retreat to a wonderfully quiet house at the end of a busy day sightseeing and shopping. Buses are right outside the front door and are regular and convenient. There is a major supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away and also a bakery, pharmacy, cafe & newsagents so you will have all the provisions you need for the duration of your stay. There are some wonderul restaurants in the area and there are also some great pubs with traditional Irish music nightly. WIFI is provided and if necessary parking is free on street in front of the house. If you plan on doing a lot of sightseeing in the city we recommend you use public transport as parking can be difficult and also expensive. We provide leaflets and information on popular things to do in each apartment & of course we are happy to advise
