This stunning 1 bedroom house sleeping 3. Situated on the outskirts of Woolacombe. Newly renovated from the former Railway Station, the cottage provides a modern and well facilitated base in which to explore this area of outstanding natural beauty. The property boasts a large private garden with uninterrupted countryside views at the rear and distant sea glimpses of Lundy island from the front and the luxury of 2 private parking spaces. With the famous Tarka trail at the bottom of the garden, 180 miles of walks and cycle tracks are just waiting to be explored. The property is only minutes away from Woolacombes' beaches, bars and restaurants.

The patio area has outside furniture consisting of seating for four and a table along with outside lighting. The garden enjoys views over the countryside and Tarka Trail. Utility Room: Cupboard located off the kitchen provides the following; Washing Machine, Clothes Airer, Iron, Ironing Board and Vacuum Cleaner. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen is provided. Other: The dining area has a table and four chairs, with another sofa. This room has French doors leading out onto the patio area and garden with further views overlooking the countryside.

Very good accommodation

The only problems we had were that the French doors did not lock at the top and with there being an available entry to the rest garden we would have felt safer if it was more secure,the only other problem was that the window in the front door should have frosted glass of something secured into it to make it a but more private.otherwise everything else walk (except for the weather)but you take the rough with the smooth.thanks for a very pleasant stay.

Our stay a signal box cottage was lovely,the cottage had everything you would need to have a fabulous holiday,plenty of space inside and out ,would recommend cottage to our friends .the pub across the road was very friendly and food was really nice .would definitely think of staying there again.

The signal box cottage was clean tidy and spacious a good enclosed garden for the dogs. Good break.

I recommend this property for a break close to good walks pub opposite fairley good food just over a mile to the large Woolacombe beach also many other area to visit.

Perfect cottage, perfect location, loved it.

Second time my friend and I have stayed at Signal Box cottage with our two dogs. Perfect place for dogs, lots of places to walk them. It's the first time I've managed to tire my dog out. It's lovely and quiet too. Don't think about it book it!!!

We have stayed at many dog friendly cottages and Signal Box cottage is the best by far. Conveniently situated with all mod cons and very safe garden for the dog. The fact that it is very rarely available tells its own story.

Location

Coast/Beach:

Woolacombe Sands, Barricane shell beach and Combesgate beach are all only a few minutes drive away. With 3 miles of golden sand Woolacombe provides many leisure activities including surfing and rock pooling.

Travel:

Exeter Airport 78km. Bristol Airport 154km. Nearest station: Barnstaple (20 mins in taxi). A car is recommended but not essential.

Further Details:

Across the road from the cottage is a pub serving food all day (Fortescue Arms, Woolacombe). There is also another pub (The Olde Mill, Ossabrough) within a 5 min walk. The nearest bus stop is just along the road. A 5 minute walk away will take you to a holiday park which has an on site supermarket and a ten pin bowling alley that is open to non residents.

Woolacombe itself has plenty of restaurants, pubs, shops, take-aways, supermarket, bank, chemist, amusement arcade, nightclub, pitch and putt and childrens fun park.
