Beach View Front-line Apartment, Set In Beautiful Gardens with large communal swimming pool

The duplex is ideally situated right on the beachfront at Calahonda. Peaceful yet minutes walk from all amenities including a large supermarket and many excellent restaurants. The duplex is on 2 floors with both bedrooms and bathroom on the upper level. It benefits from a large terrace with direct sea views, with a large awning to provide shade during the mid day sun. The large communal swimming pool is surrounded by landscaped gardens with direct sea views. The two twin bedrooms have mosquito nets to the windows enabling you to hear the lapping waves and enjoy the sea breeze.

Why Judy Ellis chose Mijas area

We love Calahonda Beach because of the fantastic location and proximity to the sea. We love lying in bed and listening to waves gently lapping on the beach. Bars and restaurants are within walking. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Malaga airport less than 35 minutes drive away.

What makes this apartment unique

Our apartment couldn't be nearer the sea - I love lying in bed and listening to the waves coming in. The views are fantastic across Calahonda Beach and the sea - on a really clear day you can even see the coastline of Africa.

"Wow" the views from the balcony are stunning

I stayed in this lovely apartment with my daughter for a week and had a fantastic time. The grounds are a burst of beautiful gardens creating a serene and relaxing environment. My favourite area was the apartment terrace which had lovely views across the sea to North Africa. You couldn't get nearer the sea unless you were in it. The communal swimming pool was large with easy access steps into the water. The two bedrooms had great storage under the beds and the linen was wonderfully top quality. The two shower rooms were modern and looked newly refurbished. There is a supermarket and numerous restaurants nearby but we particularly enjoyed the chiringuito El Capricho which is on the beachfront and within very easy walking distance. We took various trips out; a walk along the new coastal walkway to the little harbour of Cabopino with its numerous bars, restaurants and beach with watersports; shopping in Marbella; a trip into the Mijas mountains.. Highly recommended family holiday destination..big thumbs up!

Wonderful apartment

Just got back from a 9 night stay at this lovely duplex apartment. Plenty of storage space, loungers on the balcony, a very much appreciated 'welcome pack' and the most glorious views of the sea from the balcony. Everything was as described, really full description and information sheet provided which was very useful. The pool looked lovely, uncrowded - although we went to the beach most days. The grounds are very well maintained, the gardeners worked on them every day and it showed. We had a lemon tree outside the apartment, perfect to add to cold drinks.The restaurants were all marvellous, the waiters and waitresses were all so eager to please - nothing was too much trouble. Judy, the owner, was very helpful all the way through the booking process, communicated everything clearly and went out of her way to ensure that we had the perfect holiday. I really recommend this apartment - it's in the perfect position, only 5 minutes tops from the reasonably priced supermarkets and restaurants and you couldn't get any closer to the beach if you tried. Absolutely wonderful.

The Duplex is on the beach which is quiet and uncrowded. There are restaurants and bars within walking distrance along the beach.

The Costa del Sol enjoys a pleasant climate, with an average temperature of 19 C over each year and with over 300 days of sunshine.

It has a huge range of leisure facilities, both beach and rural with numerous golf courses, zoos and attractions, conference centres, marinas, etc


Nearest airport is Malaga which is 36km. Cheap flights are available with most airlines. Car hire is not essential as the Duplex is within walking distances of restaurants and a large supermarket.

Further Details:

There are numerous places of interest nearby, Ronda, Benahavis, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Gibraltar, Selwo Marina, Benalmadena Pueblo to name but a few. Day trips to Morocco, The Alhambra Palace in Granada. Activities include water sports, golf, swimming, nearby tennis, water parks, zoos and a Safari Park.
