About Terry and Yvonne Le Pelley
We live in Guernsey, Channel Islands and have a grown-up family. In 2002 we bought our villa in Spain, then we bought the apartment in 2007. The hot weather is what attracted us to Spain and we have had many years of happy family holidays and now enjoy semi-retirement spending longer periods in the sun. The relaxed way of life and wonderful, reasonable meals together with the beautiful beaches and the bustle of the open air markets are our particular favourites. We hope you too will enjoy your time in Spain, in particular in our villa and apartment, and return many many times.

We bought the villa at Entre Naranjos because we wanted an escape from the unreliable weather at home and have spent many years relaxing and learning about the surrounding area which we now class as our 2nd home. Being slightly inland from the bustle of Torrevieja it is nice to come home and sit in the evening warmth, on the terrace with a glass of wine and a good book in peace and quiet. With a car we have easy access to beaches, restaurants, bars, sightseeing and loads of other facilities. All we need in fact.
What makes this House unique
The property is big enough for us to entertain friends and family. The pool though shared is very often empty and feels like our own. The neighbourhood is very friendly and everyone looks out for each other. Each time we come down on holiday it is as if we have never been away.

The villa is perfect all round really, the location is spot on close to the golf course, between the bars, not to close, but not far away either. The villa its self is clean and very welcoming, with WIFI which is a bonus. Everything is at hand in the villa, like home from home.

272 Entre Naranjos
This was our 5th year at Entre Naranjos and our 4th stay at this particular property. The property is exactly as described by the owners and is a real home from home. It is equipped to a good standard and well maintained throughout. It is in a quieter part of the urbanization on one of the narrower side roads but well within walking distance of all onsite amenities, the pool is less than 1 minute away and there is ample room on the gated drive to park a large family car ( Berlingo ).
Al fresco dining is a must on the large lower terrace which can seat 10 in comfort. There is a book at the property with loads of useful info about restaurants, beaches, taxis etc submitted by the owners and also guests. The property has recently been decorated and now has 6 folding chairs and a large cool bag for the beach.
It's a 20 minute drive to most of the local beaches like La Mata, La Zenia, Moncayo or Cabo Roig which all have good amenities. If you fancy something a little differant try driving south ( 1 hr ) to Los Belones and go off road to the beaches east of Portman. No facilites but wonderful scenery and crystal clear sea. Our favourite beach!!!!
The onsite Indian, Tapas bar and Chinese are all very good and offer good value meals and service. The Orange bar is a great place to have a drink and also serves a pretty mean b/fast. The golf club is a 10 minute walk up the hill and serves food and drink all day with evening entertainment some nights. The sunsets are great from the terrace.
Local restaurants we have tried numerous times and would return to are Market Street ( International ) in San Miguel, Chevaliers ( French ) in Playa Flamenca and our favourite Puccinis ( Italian ) near La Zenia.
Its about a 2 hour drive up to the waterfalls at El Algar ( Fonts de L' Algar ) near Benidorm and the mountain top village of Guadalest. Take a picnic and your trunks, the views are stunning!!!!!!
A car is essential but grocery shopping is easy. There is a new super market at San Miguel ( 10 mins drive ) and numerous Mercadona stores are within 20 mins drive.
This is by no means a negative but I think the property would benefit from a new parasol for the roof and a gas BBQ.
I think it says it all that we have stayed here 4 times. We love it ( the villa and the area ) and have had great holidays. The owners have been a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend it ( in particular for families ).

Lovely family holiday
This property provided everything we needed for our family of 5 (3 adults and 2 children - aged 9 & 6).
After a hard day at the beach, we could come back and sit at the communal pool. The complex also has several bars (including the golf club) which are very reasonably priced.
Would definitely recommend.

Special interest holidays:
The salt lakes provide excellent walking as do the nearby mountains and hills - we have information of this if required. At nearby Torremondo it is possible to horse ride, fish, quad bike and cycle on organised and private excursions. There is an Aqua Park nearby with flumes and wave pools, go-karting in nearby Playa Flamenca and bus trips (free) to blanket factories and similar which take in choclate shops, wineries and small villages. Info on these is in an album in the villa for your perusal. In Benidorm you can find the famous Mundamar where you can see wild life and enjoy watching a dolphin show. There is a massive water park next door to the wildlife park but it would be impossible to do both in one day.
A car is required to locate the nearby beaches along the cost - all between 20 mins and one hour's drive away. These vary from beautiful stretches of sand at Guadamar; the tourist beach at Torrevieja with all facilities, to the smaller more cove-like beaches of La Zenia and Punta Prima.
Some people choose to drive down to Spain, through France and take their time. The closest airports to the villa are Murcia (San Javier) or Alicante. A car is really essential for staying at Entre Naranjos so that you can explore nearby villages and towns to seek out the many restaurants and bars. We would recommend Carjet if flying into Alicante - they have a website and act like a broker, finding the right car to meet your requirements. If not exact model you require the size will be right
10 mins drive to both Los Montesinos and San Miguel and approximately 20 mins drive to Torrevieja for a more bustling town with promenade bars and restaurants, street entertainers, fairground and open air market. Alicante and Cartegena would be a good one and a half to two hours depending on route taken.
On the complex as well as the excellent Golf Club which has bar and restaurant, there are two general stores; two cafe/bars which do food; one bar has recently opened an Eatery; a Chinese restaurant and an Indian restaurant as well as a Tapas Bar, Italian and Golf Club. Los Montesinos and San Miguel, though small towns have many bars and restaurants, supermarkets, banks, post offices and internet cafes and churches. Festivals and fireworks are often held in these nearby places and dates of these are advertised. Torrevieja is bigger and as well as the promenade cafes, bars and restaurants, nightclubs can be found and gymnasiums for the more energetic.
Booking Notes: £100.00 non-refundable deposit on booking. 45 days before stay, balance to be paId, this includes damage waiver deposit, which will be refunded within 2 weeks after stay if no damage or loss reported by keyholder. We are happy with weekend or weekday changeovers. 70 Euros is to be paid to the keyholder on arrival to pay for clean and preparation of the property. We ask you to leave the premises by lunchtime or earlier on the day of your departure and arrangements will be made with you and keyholder about handing back keys. Arrivals are preferred after 10am but again we can be flexible depending on flights. Changeover Day: Preferred changeover day would be Saturday but we can be flexible. Mid week bookings are accepted. As keyholder lIves in same road and other neighbours hold keys, meeting on day of arrival is easy. It is better if visitors arrive before 9 pm but we can work around this. Notes on prices: Prices are in UK sterling or bank transfers can be arranged in Euros to our Spanish account or sterling bank transfers to our UK account, except for the 70 Euros in cash which is paid to keyholder on arrival for clean and preparation. This also covers for laundry after your stay. We decided to keep our prices lower than some other rentals, like this we feel it makes it more possible for people to have holidays they may not have been able to consider in the current financial climate. Regular guests are more important to us than no guests at all! If you require high chair, cot etc we can hire on your behalf and you will be charged accordingly.
