About Andy and Andrea Millard
We live in England where we work for our family business. Owning property in Portugal enables us to relax and unwind away from it all easily at short notice. We spend most of our holidays here, though we do love to explore elsewhere as well. We prefer to come to Boa Nova out of season as the climate then is ideal for the walking and golf that we enjoy. We leave the summer time for our grown up children, granddaughter and nephews and neices.
Andy and Andrea Millard purchased this Apartment in 2011
Why Andy and Andrea Millard chose Estômbar
We first came to Boa Nova in 2005 because we had friends living out here, and have been coming back several times a year ever since. We soon came to appreciate all that the area had to offer, its quiet location yet with Carvoiero, Ferragudo and Lagoa and all the facilities they have to offer nearby, and the proximity to the coastal path for walking and the local beaches. It is rare to find so many beautiful beaches in such a small area. The lovely golf courses of Pinta and Gramacho just 5 minutes away also held an appeal for Andy! We liked it so much that we bought a property for ourselves in 2006, and this year have bought a further property for rental and as an investment for the future.
What makes this Apartment unique
The properties at Boa Nova are finished to an exteremely high specification. Much thought has been put to creating light and shade both internally and externally with the choice of terraces and balconies, which greatly enhances the levels of comfort. The addition of underfloor heating and a log burner for the cooler evenings in the winter also had great appeal. The shared pools and bar area are also very well thought out. Most of all, the spectacular views from Boa Nova, towards both the sea and the mountains, and the beautifully landscaped grounds make it somewhere very special to come to.

From the minute we walked through the door we knew we had booked the best place for us. Everything was just how we'd expected it to be, everywhere was sparkling clean and spacious. Andy and Andrea had provided everything we could possibly need for a great stay including beach towels, chairs, tennis rackets, CDs, DVDs, everything! Lots of outside space for having breakfast or just sitting and sipping drinks. We loved everything about Casa Bonita and also everything the the Boa Nova resort has to offer. Great pool, bar and restaurants. Close to lots of great beaches, and amazing restaurants. We'll be back for sure. Thanks Andy and Andrea.
The photo's do not do it justice!
What an absolute beautiful corner of the world. We spent 3 nights at Casa Bonita in the Algarve, and we loved every minute of it. The condo was fully stocked with all the small touches that make the difference. The pools were lovely, the bar area too! A quick uber ride to the beach, don't try taking the car, parking is difficult. The beach was amazing and we had a lovely meal at La Paradis a couple miles down the street. Close to grocery shopping as well. I will definitely recommend your place to all my Canadian and American friends and family and will be posting my pix of Casa Bonita and the Algarve on my Flickr account for everyone to see. I hope one day to be back there and for a longer stay.
So glad you enjoyed your stay! We look forward to hearing from you again.
There is an abundance of good beaches in the local area. Caneiros and Pintadinho can be accessed over the cliffs, but are easily reached in a few minutes by car.
Nearest airport is Faro, 45 minutes by car.
Carvoiero, Ferragudo and Lagoa are all 10 minutes by car. Local attractions include Slide and Splash (15 minutes), Silves, and Zoo Marine (both about 20 minutes).
There are plenty of excellent restaurants and beach bars in the area. On the local beaches, and in Ferragudo and Carvoiero.
