The cottage was pleasantly situated and accommodation was very good.
The cottage was well laid out, the underfloor heating was good. The location was ideal for walking and the garden was pleasant.
Comfortable, well equipped property deep in the Dales
Excellent location on the Pennine Way. This modern barn conversion is packed with facilities to make your stay comfortable, whatever the weather. They include a small utility room which the presence of the central heating boiler turns it into an ideal drying room for wet clothes and footwear.
Disappointed that the kitchen at the Hare and Hounds pub, just a two minute walk from this property, is closed for renovation, since easy pub dining was one of our main reasons for choosing this property, But there are other pubs a short taxi ride away and a good taxi service.

The property couldn't have been any better. The rooms are spacious and everything is provided. The separate utility room is especially welcome in damp weather. While the cottage is situated in a beautiful rural position, it is handy for Skipton's market and Castle, Keithley for the steam train to the Bronte sister's home of Haworth, Bolton Abbey and many more. We had a 3 and 5 year old with us and they especially liked Hesketh Farm, West of Bolton Abbey. It can be enjoyed indoors on a rainy day. There is also a kiddies playground area, across from the village school, within walking distance. Thank you Susan and Keith for a wonderful week.
Excellent property - Great stay!
Beckside Barn is a very lovingly converted and restored former barn. The accommodation is very well equipped and everything is there, what is needed. There is a nice garden that may be used.
Skipton, the nearest town is within easy reach, and perfect for shopping or dining.
A big thanks to Sue and Keith for 7 great days.
Holiday in the Dales
This was an excellent property. Very clean and equipped with everything you would ever need. The owners were great with plenty of information about restaurants, walks etc. Would not hesitate to recommend it.
A five star holiday cottage
Beckside Barn had everything we needed in a great holiday location, plenty of space in a tranquil and quite village situation. Well positioned to explore Skipton and the Dales beyond with many local walks for those non driving days. The accommodation is of the highest standard with loads of hot water at the beginning and end of the day. Great garden and patio catering for both adults and children alike. Fantastic hosts, we had a wonderful holiday here.
Hare & Hounds Pub in village has been renovated and under new management, now serving food and drinks.
Plenty of pubs, restaurants, shops and banks within a few miles of the village. (Skipton, Crosshills)
