Relax in this luxurious "pied à terre", knowing that our dedicated team is always available.
I love to walk in Paris. I wanted a flat located in a strategically located central area that allowed me to visit all the main landmarks without having to take public transportation. Yet, I wanted to be close to public transportation for those really cold rainy days. Creme Caramel met those requirements.
Rue de Verneuil seemed perfect for its large selection of exquisite food stores and shops, and large choice of fine restaurants.
I wished to have easy access to all the best museums and galleries.
I searched to find an oasis of peace where I could relax at the end of the day from the traffic and noise of Paris' streets. Rue de Verneuil was perfect, being mainly a pedestrian street with an occasional passing car.
I wanted to live in a historic Parisian building with thick stone walls. Rue de Verneuil was created in 1605, and the building dates from the 18th century.
Finally, I wanted our "pied a terre" to blend the luxury of a five star hotel with the comfort of home.
I immediately fell in love with the magnificent exposed stone wall. I chose to create a dramatic lighting to enhance its natural beauty.
I also found the cobblestone courtyard charming and old fashioned. And I loved the fact that I won't have to carry big heavy suitcases along a staircase or inside a small Parisian elevator.
I knew that the ground floor wouldn't have the amount of natural light that a high floor has to offer. But I was enchanted by the warm and cosy atmosphere of the front rooms while the kitchen and bathroom were flooded with natural light..
This flat has all the amenities one could ask for-washer/dryer, hair dryer, fridge...the bed was very comfortable also. The owners and property manager were great. They provided immediate responses anytime we had questions and were very accommodating with our flight arrival time and checking. Thank You for the wonderful experience!
Mavea was so sweet we were able to get in early ..apartment is just so cute it has everything you could possibly need in a great neighborhood .. and the bed was very comfortable ..felt very safe for the double security doors you had to go through .. it was lovely I would recommend it to everyone and go again thank you so much mevea
The apartment is nicely set up to separate the sleeping area from the sitting room. It served the two of us very well, though I would have trouble seeing it as suitable for more than 2. In 8 days in paris we only needed to take the Metro twice to go to places we wanted to see....Montmarte and the Foundation Louis Vuitton. Every place we wanted to visit...d'Orsay, the Louvre, Invalides, Museum Rodin, the Grand Palais, the Petit Palais, Hotel de Ville, Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, Pompidou Center, etc. we were able to walk to.
My wife and I went on our honeymoon and really enjoyed our stay at Creme Caramel. The flat is conveniently located on the ground floor, spacious and thoughtfully designed with more than enough storage for two (including your luggage). Do not be deceived , there is ample space for your clothing, accessories, lounging, etc. The decor and the lighting are lovely making the apartment warm, cozy and inviting. The kitchen and entertainment unit are well equipped. It is also centrally located with a number of shops and restaurants nearby.
This is our third or forth time in this beautiful little spot. We keep coming back because it’s thoughtfully organized, tastefully appointed and a great location.
A charming place with character and style.
Wonderfully convenient to restaurants, brasseries, shopping and museums. I would highly recommend it.
The rue de Verneuil is a calm architectural delight studded with exquisite shops, art galleries, antique shops, and fine restaurants.
It is strategically located a stone’s throw away from the Musée d’Orsay, two short blocks away from the Seine, with the Louvre and the Tuilleries gardens just on the other side of the river, and two blocks from Boulevard St Germain.
- Browse the neighboring boutiques “Carré Rive Gauche”, several city blocks of the highest concentration of antique shops and art galleries on the Left Bank.
The rue de Verneuil's immediate proximity to eight major museums (the Louvre, Orsay, l'Orangerie, Legion d’Honor, Rodin, Maillol, Grand Palais, and Petit Palais museums) makes it ideal for an art lover.
- Walk to the "Le Bon Marché", the luxury department store.
- Stroll to St Germain des Prés and its famous "Café de Flore" and café "Les Deux Magots". Visit the designer shops (Kenzo, Thierry Mugler, Yamamoto, Sonia Rykiel, Louis Vuitton, Cartier and Armani), and the Faubourg St Honoré's high fashion shops (Chanel, Cartier, Givenchi, Lancome, Lanvin, Louboutin).
Its prime location is ideal for visiting Paris on foot.
Walk to Notre Dame cathedral, ile St Louis, the Latin Quarter, and the Luxembourg garden. Walk through the Tuilleries gardens to the Place de la Concorde and the Champs Elysées. Enjoy the pedestrian river bank walk to the Eiffel Tower and then rue Cler.
