Air Conditioned House with Gardens, Garage, BBQ and Sun Terrace

This three bedroom, air conditioned, single story property is light and airy and provides a home away from home with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is situated in the circulade village of Magalas, which boasts all essential local amenities. Restaurants, boulangerie, mini market, post office and bank, all within a few minutes walk of the house.
The house is an ideal base to explore the beautiful region of Languedoc Roussilion. Located just 25 minutes from the Mediterranean beaches and coastal towns, and less than 20 minutes from mountains, the river orb and canal du midi. Surrounded by medieval towns and villages it is a region steeped in the history of the Cathars and Nights Templar, the medieval cities of Carcasonne and Aigues Mort are about 90 minutes away and well worth a visit. There is something for all the family, with go karting, paintballing, canal boat rides, nature reserves and water sports a short drive away.. The nearby town of Pezanas with a bustling Saturday market and artisan shops is a must see. Magalas also has a railway station which offers train services to Beziers, Montpellier and Perpignan.
We welcomed the feedback and lovely reviews from our previous guests and a few minor items were highlighted that we have been able to address.

Lovely Area

We had a lovely holiday in Magalas. It was great sat on the terrace everynight watching the sun set over the vineyards. We loved the village and countryside, also spent a lot of time on the beaches which are only 20 mins way.

Great location

We had a wonderful family holiday here. There is something for everyone with fabulous beaches, beautiful historical villages to explore, go-karting track just 5 mins drive away etc. The house is lovely, a real home from home. Lovely sun terrace at the rear of the property looking out over vin yards. We thought the house was in an ideal location and all round great value for money!

Heerlijke vakantiewoning in mooi dorp tussen de wijngaarden.

We hebben enorm genoten van onze vakantie in het fijne huis van Margaret. Het is een ruime, comfortabele woning van alle gemakken voorzien. De woning ligt aan de rand van prachtig authentiek dorp en heeft een geweldig uitzicht. Elke avond kan je genieten van de prachtige zonsondergang. Je hebt een eigen oprit voor de garage waar je gemakkelijk je auto kunt parkeren Het huis is heerlijk koel te houden door de aanwezige airco en ventilatoren aan het plafonds. De slaapkamers zijn ruim en hebben voldoende kastruimte. De bedden zijn erg comfortabel maar wij vonden ze wel wat laag bij de grond. De keuken is ruim, goed uitgerust en compleet met een grote koelkast en fornuis met een geweldige oven. Hier kan je de lekkerste gerechten in bereiden. Ook de badkamer is ruim opgezet en is voorzien van een bad, hier moet je ook in douchen. Er is voldoende opbergruimte in de badkamer gecreëerd. Aan de achterzijde van het huis is een fijn terras waar je heerlijk kunt “buiten leven” en kan genieten van het uitzicht en de ondergaande zon. Er hangt een schaduwdoek boven het terras als bescherming tegen de middag/avond zon. Omdat het tijdens ons verblijf erg warm was ( 38 tot 40 graden) bood het schaduwdoek eigenlijk niet voldoende bescherming /schaduw en was het er erg warm op het terras. Pas rond 20.30 u. verdween de zon verderop achter de grote boom waardoor het afkoelde en aangenaam werd op het terras . Magalas is een rustig dorp met een aantal leuke eetgelegenheden. Er is fijne een bakker op loop afstand en aan de rand van het dorp zijn twee grote supermarkten. Margaret erg vriendelijk en zeer attent, reageert snel op eventuele vragen. Voor je verblijf begint krijg je ook een complete bundel toegestuurd met allerlei informatie over het huis. Ik vond het erg prettig communiceren met haar. Om toch een klein puntje van kritiek te noemen, het huis staat in een woonwijk en veel omwonenden hebben een of meerdere honden. Deze honden hoor je regelmatig aanslaan. Dit vonden wij persoonlijk soms storend met name in de vroege ochtend of late avond. Verder hebben wij het erg naar ons zin gehad in het heerlijke huis van Margaret en bevelen het dan ook van harte aan. Zelf hopen wij nog een keer terug te komen. Unser Urlaub im August 20022

Das Ferienhaus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es ist sehr ruhig dort und liegt nur 10 min mit dem Auto von der nächsten Stadt Beziers entfernt. Aber auch in Magalas gab es gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man für den Alltag benötigt. Es fehlt wirklich nichts. Und bei Fragen konnten wir jederzeit mit der Vermieterin direkt kommunizieren. Wir haben eine sehr schöne Urlaubswoche verbracht und kommen gerne wieder. Deshalb nochmals vielen Dank und ein großes Lob an die Vermieterin. Peter, Iris und Hendrik

Each season brings new delights and our daughter and son in law and two grandchildren enjoy the house as much as we do. We have recently retired so are able to spend more time enjoying the house and surrounding area,

Why they chose this property

The property provides all the comforts of home. A spacious open plan living area and 3 good sized bedrooms, driveway and garden area to both front and rear. The terrace area at the rear of the property provides stunning views of the vineyards and mountains beyond, and we enjoy having BBQ's on the terrace and sitting out watching the beautiful sunsets in the evening. Late evening provides an evening spectacle of stars when the skies are clear, which is often.

What makes this property unique

The property provides a perfect base to explore the delights of Herault.
Beaches, mountains, canal du midi, rivers, lakes and medieval towns and villages.
The area is steeped in history and provides something for everyone., Beziers, Carcasonne and Aigues Mort are stunning examples of a medieval cite with a rich and bloody history.
For the family go karting and paint balling, are a short drive away or you may prefer cycling or paddle boarding at Valras Plage or Lake Salagou. There really is something for everyone.
