Our home has a quiet & open aspect, 4 spacious bedrooms (3 on the groundfloor), 2 bathrooms; the master has an en-suite. We have a modern well equipped kitchen. There is a satellite TV; if you need to keep up with events. There are 2 veranda areas for eating and relaxing. The swimming pool is 10 x 5m. The house boasts a south facing view of the local village of Bezolles and in the distance the view takes in the Pyrenees. Built in 2009 to our own design, the house was planned to be light, clean and airy. Our goal for the outside was to be traditional, but the modern methods allow the house to be cosy in spring, autumn and especially winter; yet cool & relaxing in summer. We designed the house so that all rooms come with a view. Set on a hill with a backdrop of mature cedar trees, the house is approached via a stoned drive way through the vineyards and depending on what our neighbours are growing there is often a sea of sunflowers across the rolling hills. So please come and join us.

About David & Liz Thompson
We live in England; work full time and spend most of our holidays here at the villa in France.
David & Liz Thompson purchased this House in 2009
Why David & Liz Thompson chose Bezolles
We had the house completed in 2009. We had been looking for the perfect house in the perfect location for almost 3 years. We had found one element but never the other. Then someone suggest we build our own. We found the land because we new the area and had fallen in love with the rolling hills and the spectacular views of vineyards and sunflowers. The important thing that we wanted to do was make sure that the house had a very traditional feel. At the same time because of the more modern methods of construction we were able to ensure that the feel of the house was light and airy.
What makes this House unique
The property is set in 5000sqm of land and with a heated swimming pool, if you want a quiet relaxing time for you and your family then you do not have to leave the house. But if you want to do more then locally we have everything from golf to swimming lakes; from restaurants to markets; from bastide towns to glorious sunflower fields. Please enjoy our home.

Excellent property with lovely views. Very well equipped a home from home.
Stunning location, fabulous facilities!
Located on the edge of the sleepy village of Bezolles, the property sits in extensive grounds with stunning views of the Pyrenees. The rural setting provides a complete escape and makes for an extremely relaxing holiday.
The property is finished to a very high standard, with extensive space indoors and outside. The kitchen is well-equipped and spacious and there are even recipe books on hand! The outdoor pool is a good size and very clean. Thanks to its elevated position, it is very private too.
There are beautiful small towns to explore in the locality providing a fabulous experience of this unspoilt region, which is thankfully off the beaten track for most tourists.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this property to any family or group seeking a taste of the real France!
Relaxing family holiday
We had a fantastic family stay at Coteau de Peres, our second in 2 consecutive years. The free WiFi catered well for our 2 teenagers and the peace, quiet and beautiful views catered for the 2 adults.
The property is beautifully clean and well maintained and has everything you need for a family holiday. The location is perfect for us with small villages and towns within easy reach. Liz and Dave keep a file in the property which is full of ideas and recommendations for places to go and restaurants to eat in. We have tried many of them and they are all excellent.
The pool is always warm and the view you have whilst swimming and sunbathing is spectacular. There is plenty of space around the outside of the property and inside all the rooms are spacious with comfy beds and sofas.
A highly recommended property which we hope to return to on many more occasions.
Thank you for your lovely comments, we do appreciate your feedback. We are so glad you had a great holiday and that you enjoyed the views from the patios and pool. You were great guests and we would certainly welcome you back if you decided to visit us again.
La maison est impeccable, très propre et fonctionnelle. Il y a absolument tout sur place. La maison est grande et la vue est magnifique. On ne s'en lasse pas.
Super séjour, rien à redire.
We had a brilliant holiday at this property. The house was clean, tidy and very well organised. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfortable as was the living room furniture, not that we spent much time sitting in the living room, as one of the best features of this house are the amazing views that can be seen from the veranda. The swimming pool was great, there were plenty of loungers.
The location was good, peaceful but only about a 10 minute easy drive to a supermarket. We have been to this area many times and always find plenty to see and do and there are numerous good restaurants a short drive away.
This is a great house in a great location and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!
Thank you for the lovely comments. You were great guests and left our house clean and tidy, we would certainly have you back!
BEAUTIFUL RURAL IDYLL
Had a lovely week with teenage son and daughter, amazing weather so really made use of and enjoyed the pool. House in the middle of countryside surrounded by vineyards and fields of sunflowers. Not sure if we were meant to feed the visiting cats. Well equipped and lacking nothing (except perhaps a teapot!) Walked to local ruined castle and visited night markets, day markets, brocante markets, tasted Floc and Armagnac, ate plenty of duck and went to a 'course Landaise (bullfighting with cows but no bloodshed) in Aignan. Children not too bored by being dragged round beautiful churches ending up at Condom. Easy journey to Agen by Eurostar and TGV with a change in Paris, one stop at Bordeaux and then we were there. Car hire across the road from the station and then 1 hours drive to the house with supermarket en route.
We are glad you had a great holiday and that you enjoyed the views from the house and the pool. Thank you for mentioning the lack of a tea pot, we will get that sorted!
The Pyrenees are 1.5 hrs away, where you will find great walks and stunning scenery in the summer and where you will also find the nearest Ski Resorts in the winter months. The Atlantic coast is 1.5 hrs away; for relaxing in the dunes, swimming in the sea or surfboarding. Biarritz for example, is great for surfing, shopping and people watching and is only 2 hours away.
There are several airports within easy reach. Toulouse - 60 mins. Pau - 60 mins. Bordeaux - 80 mins. Bergerac - 2 hours. Carcassone - 2 hours. The TVG stops at Agen (35 mins) or Bordeaux (80 mins) Calais is 9.5 hrs but St Malo is just 6 hrs.
There is a local village Bezolles which has a tennis court. The nearest supermarket is Vic Fezensac just 7 mins away, which has two, together with local shops, boulangeries and restaurants. If you want hypermarkets or more shopping then, Auch the capital of the Gers, is just 20 mins away.
There are important cities in the area famed for their culture, sport, shopping and gastronomy with Toulouse and Pau just 60 mins away, whilst Bordeaux is just 80 mins away.
Locally there are plenty of things to do for all the family. Vic has a market every Friday, with others around the area almost daily. Vic also has a night market every other Wednesday in the summer.
We have a fully attended swimming lake 5 mins away, great for picnics too. Whist just 15 mins away is a large swimming pool and waterslide complex. Only 10 mins away you can hire canoes on the river Baise. And just 20 mins away is a castle and adventure park at Larressingle; where you can be a knight for a day.
