About Paul Wattam
I was a detective in the Derbyshire police force for several years until I left with commendations and moved to Spain. I lived there for 21 years, during which time I got married to Sarah and had two wonderful children Nicole and Daniel and I returned to the UK with my family in 2011 to practice hypnotherapy.
Paul Wattam purchased this Villa in 1996
Why Paul Wattam chose Marbella
Both my wife and I fell in love with this property, it is so tranquil and private and yet only a few minutes walking from the beach, shops and main road. It was the original main villa of the area, and we spent many years renovating this property and its gardens to what it is now. It also has one of the largest flat plots in the area.
What makes this Villa unique
The privacy and security of the villa and gardens are idyllic and both the villa and its grounds are incredibly spacious and mostly flat.
Pool / Spa
Safe and secure grounds, many games
Minimum age of primary renter:20

I have just returned from celebrating my 50th birthday with a group of 14 friends and family, the villa is fantastic, extremely spacious enabling any member of the party to find their own quiet space if required. Great pool all be it a bit cold at the end of October, excellent bar/outdoor eating area. Very clean on arrival, the kitchen as all the utensils you would require, I had 2 chefs with me and they did a couple of excellent meals and had no complaints re the kitchen. Excellent communication from Paul the owner. If we go back to this part of Spain would definitely look to return.
Thank you, Robert, for your kind words, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay.
You were fantastic guests and we would welcome you back anytime you like.
14 of us (7 adults and 7 children) had a lovely stay in the villa, perfect size for this number of people. It is roughly a 15 minute walk to the beach and restaurants.
Thank you Jo, it was a pleasure having you stay, you were lovely guests and you would be most welcome again.
We had a lovely family holiday in Cabopino. Villa was good size to accommodate a large family from ages 1yr to 82yrs and had something for everyone. There where plenty of shady areas and a lovely pool and covered bar area where we spent most evenings chatting eating dinner or just having a drink. Paul was always quick to reply to any questions I needed to ask and Jane was great while at the villa to sort out taxis if we need them. Overall a fabulous holiday.
Thank you Anita for your kind words, we are so glad you had a lovely time and thank you for looking after our villa so well. You and your family would be most welcome back anytime.
Excellent for groups or extended families
This villa in Marbella is ideal for groups or extended families. It has every ingredient to make any type of stay enjoyable. We loved it and many of us would be interested in returning. 5 out of 5
Thank you for the kind review, you were a pleasure to have as guests and you would be most welcome back at any time.
It´s a very fine house but it has seen the good days. The pictures doesn´t agree with reality.
We had a nice stay in Spain, in a nice neighbourhood, but the house was not fresh. It was scratchy outside, the table-tennis and the rackets was broken. There were no pads for all the sunchairs and you couldn´t go into the bar, it has not been clean for a long time.
About inside, the room was ok but the kitchen was not clean. We had to wash the things before we use plates, glasses etc. and behind the stove there were lots of left-overs. Track after mice. The standard is good, but the property must have a true make over. I hope the house will be fixed, in that case I will come another time again.
Paul and Jane was very nice and serviceminded.
Lovely large villa with excellent facilities especially pool (where the kids lived!) & great beach .
week's stay with our family(14 in all).Great weather meant we were either at villa or beach every day. Often barbq in the evenings or went to nearby restaurants. Thoroughly recommend.
Thanks, Stephanie, so glad you all enjoyed your holiday and you were lovely guests and welcome anytime.
