It is very close to the beach sand dunes shops and restaurants. Eating out can be whatever u can afford. There are a mix of different foods and prices. We enjoyed a range of different foods and all were good . Overall we had a lovely rest.

Fantastic place to stay
This is a wonderful apartment on the edge of Playa Del Ingles, close to the shops and restaurants but also for enough away to be peaceful and relaxing. We were able to spend a week exploring the whole island including a fantastic walk up in the mountains near Santa Lucia and a trip over to Agaete on the northwest of the island where one can get a 'fast cat' ferry to Tenerife (dimly visible across the water) taking about an hour. Everyone kept telling us how cold it was, but with an afternoon temperature of about 20-22 degrees we found it very comfortable. The Maspalomas/Playa area is very favoured in Gran Canaria for its dry and warm weather and indeed we found it much sunnier and more sheltered than other parts of the island. The apartment was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished and we were met by Steve who was very friendly and welcoming and who a good store of local knowledge which was very helpful. Booking arrangements via the owner Ian were really easy and straightforward and the apartment instructions/local guide he has compiled is first class.
We would highly recommend this apartment to other couples who want a comfortable and quiet setting in easy reach of good facilities and beaches and restaurants which range from cheap 'n' cheerful tourist fare to a much higher standard. The small pool was excellent and completely empty every time we used it and of course the view from the apartment across the dunes to the sea is wonderful.
Amazing apartment with stunning views
Just arrived home from a wonderful holiday in this lovely apartment. On arrival we where met by Steve who showed us round the apartment and was very informative who also arranged our taxi home through Lynda which was very helpful. The views from the balcony are amazing and we enjoyed just chilling in the sunshine looking at the amazing view of the sea and sand dunes. We would definitely go back here in the future, but I must warn people that it is not suitable for anyone with disabilities as there are a lot of steps to walk down to the beach/restaurant's, which didn't bother us as at all.

Apartment with the X Factor
My husband and I have just returned from 2 weeks holiday at this delightful apartment. Steve the rep met us and showed us the apartment. What a surprise when he showed us the view from the balcony - it took our breath away (everyday!). An amazing sea view, the sand dunes quite incredible. We found the apartment spotlessly clean, so nice to have fluffy, soft towels, good pressure in the shower, and the large screen T.V. and DVD was an added bonus. This apartment is extremely central to everything. As you walked out of the gated apartment directly on to the beautiful long prom,the steps in front led you down to the amazing beach and many restaurants and bars lined along the beach. We would highly recommend Papi's Grill which is situated half way down the steps, we enjoyed several meals including filleted hake, steak etc. Luca and Joseph the waiters were friendly and kind. Also would recommend Aquarios along the front (it has the tank holding the lobsters), and there is entertainment every night, Flavio and Vany Spanish singers (excellent) and tribute acts Abba, Michael Jackson etc. (left the leaflet in the apartment). We had the spiny lobster for our last night, it was delicious! A short walk from the apartment at the back was a bus stop where you can catch buses very cheaply. We bus hopped to Faro Maspalomas, Puerto De Mogan, Puerto Rico, and San Augustin it was a great way to see so much of the island and a great adventure. We also went to the Yumbo Centre which is full of shops and restaurants. Overall we so enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking out at the amazing views, people watching, many jogging, running, so interesting! The apartment has everything you need, Steve had kindly put milk, and water in the fridge and it was handy that Juan the gardener and pool cleaner supplied 4 litre canisters of water for just 1 euro and would leave it outside the apartment. The bed was very clean and comfortable and lovely and quiet. We would like to thank Lynda for all her useful help and advise on line, (especially letting me know that we would require a fleece or a jacket to wear in the evening, it can get nippy at night). Also thank you to Steve for all his hard work in ensuring the apartment was spotless for our arrival, and his friendliness. Finally we would like to thank Ian for sharing his lovely apartment with us. We had such a wonderful time, have so many happy memories of this holiday and hope to return one day soon!

had a month in December the location was perfect with fantastic views
from the balcony overlooking the dunes the apartment was clean well
equipped with a washing machine which came in handy with staying a
month the only thing I did miss was not having a oven only a hob but
we managed the restaurants & bars are only 5 minutes in front of the
apartment the Roma restaurant is very good for food/entertainment
supermarkets are just 5 minutes away and its 15 minutes to the Yumbo Centre everything was so convenient Lynda & Steve was very
friendly & helpful and we had a wonderful holiday and next time we are in the Gran Canaria we wouldn't hesitate to stay at the beachfront
The apartment is about as close to the beach as you can get in Playa del Ingles, being on the front line of the beach promenade. Several points of access from the promenade lead down to the beach, with the nearest set of steps very close to the complex entrance.
Gran Canaria has one airport: Las Palmas. 30 minutes on the motorway. Car hire is really not necessary. Once in the apartment, you can walk everywhere in the resort (it is largely flat, apart from the access to the beach, as the resort is principally elevated a little above the sea). If you wish to visit other parts of the island, buses are very reliable. A bus stop near the apartment provides a regular service to Las Palmas, Mogan and occasional services to the island centre.
