This is a new and modern apartment in the heart of this very popular holiday location, providing luxury accommodation to sleep up to six guests. This fabulous accommodation is perfectly located, whilst benefiting from being part of a secure complex.

Extensively redecorated and refurnished to a high standard the apartment is just a few meters from Hout Bay's stunning beach along the paved pedestrian walkway, and also within a short walk of trendy restaurants and shops, No. 14 is in a perfect location.

Secure undercover dedicated parking, a lift adjacent to the front door and free membership to our guests to an indoor heated swimming pool and free wifi, SMART TV and bluetooth sound bar, coffee filter and coffee pod machines amongst some of the features offered.

No. 14 has an open plan kitchen (with great views of the mountains), a large living/dining area with sliding windows offering sea and mountain views. A full bathroom with bath, shower, basin and toilet, plus guest toilet.

The main bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom has two single beds, and a sofa bed in living area.

We are Clare and Andrew, parents of 3 children (16, 14 and 11) based in the UK. The apartment is both a business and holiday home to us, and realisation of a dream to own a home in Cape Town which goes back many years. This is our sixth year as owners and we have truly loved every visit.

We hope you will love staying at No. 14 as much as we do!

Having looked around the Cape Town area we decided on Hout Bay for a number of reasons:

Proximity to the V & A waterfront, Table Mountain, the airport as well as Cape Point (Southern Pennisula) and Constania and wine regions.

Hout Bay has a safe, family friendly beach away from the crowds which was key consideration.

No14 Village Sq ticked the box for us in so many ways, not least its proximity to superb local restaurants (you must try the seafood platter over at the Wharf) and local shops.

There is 24 hour security and the village itself has a very safe atmosphere. Access to the swimming pool and gym was a bonus, and the fact that this is a nice new, well designed and well run building.

The apartment itself is light and very spacious and we loved the featured windows.

Thought this would make a great place for both our young family and older family memebers where they could come to either explore the region (and beyond, which we have done extensively) or just to relax in this fabulous location (and we have done a lot of this too)!

What makes this apartment unique

Location, location, location - No. 14 is right in the centre of the village hub, the beach is just meters away, then there is the buzz of Cape Town (just 20 minutes away) along the most stunning coastal drive in one direction and Chapman's Peak (perhaps THE most stunning coastal drive in the world) in the other direction down to Cape Point, makes this place so unique.

For younger guests the activities a superb, our son loves the surfing and mountain biking, our youngest daughter the penguins over at Boulders Beach and our eldest daughter shopping at the V & A Waterfront under the iconic Table mountain. Whilst we enjoy much of the same, we are increasingly drawn by the fantastic food and wine, consumed in some of the most beautiful restaurant locations, sometimes we do have to pinch ourselves!

The walk from the main entrance of the Village Square to the stunning Hout Bay is just a couple of minutes. The un-crowded and family friendly bay provides both the opportunity to lazily enjoy the view or take part in more active pursuits like surfing, sailing etc. The world famous fishing marina can be found at the opposite end of the beach along the beautiful natural sand dunes.


Cape Town airport is just a 30 minute drive via the reverse slopes of Table Mountain.


Just 10 minutes drive to Camps Bay and a further 15 minutes to the V & A Waterfront in Cape Town. And the same distance to reach the Table Mountain cable car and Constantia wine lands. Hout Bay is at the very start of the iconic Chapmans Peak drive, taking one of the worlds most spectacular costal drives down to Cape point and the Southern Penninsula.

Hout Bay is a pretty fishing village at the edge of a wide green valley, surrounded by mountains on 3 sides and the sea on the 4th side.

Just a 25 minute drive from the V & A Waterfront and the iconic table mountain to the north, Hout Bay is also an excellent starting point to explore the southern peninsula, driving along Chapman’s Peak drive, arguably one of the world’s best ocean drives to visit a variety of superb attractions from whale watching, the penguin sanctuary at Boulders beach and down to Cape Point which is a world heritage site where antelope, zebra, and ostrich roam free.
