Having three double bedrooms and an open-plan living area adjoining a large terrace, the apartment is an ideal base for a family, a group of friends or a couple - just relax at home on a comfortable lounger, swim in one of the three beautiful pools on site, or use it as a base to play golf, to walk, to go to the beach or to visit one of the many attractions in the area. The apartment is light and airy, with excellent views from all rooms - to the hills behind and, to the front, across the village and fields to the Mediterranean. The sunsets across the sea from the terrace can be amazingly beautiful. All the rooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans, and have been furnished to a high standard in a simple, contemporary style. Children are welcome; baby equipment is provided free of charge if requested. Autumn through to spring are excellent for golf, walking, bird watching and climbing. Climbing crags are nearby.

About Judith Cartwright
We paid a deposit on the apartment in March 2008, after spending some very happy holidays in Cyprus and having decided that Paphos was our favourite area. We didn't plan to move to Cyprus so soon but from October 2008, for four years, my husband was the Project Engineering Director at Elea Estate. Our permanent home is a bungalow in Anarita, just up the road from the apartment. We also spend time at our house in Binfield, Berkshire. I am a retired librarian and my daughter is an events manager back in the UK. I enjoy tai chi, swimming, reading, gardening and walking. I love the Anarita countryside, the flowers and the birds and I'm happy to lend my books to you while you are here. My daughter is a very keen rock climber and can recommend the best local crags.

Why Judith Cartwright chose Anarita
What we love about this area is the open countryside so close to the airport, the coast and to all the amenities. The Paphos/Larnaca/Nicosia motorway is only 3 km away and traffic is so light that driving is very enjoyable. We can see the sea from the apartment and on most of our journeys; it has different moods that we never tire of photographing! We have been made very welcome in the village and are happy being part of the community here. Paphos is only 15 minutes drive and we visit regularly for shopping, eating out and concerts. When we chose the apartment we knew that we wanted somewhere quiet, with good views, with attractive swimming pools and gardens, that we could walk from and enjoy the countryside. We are delighted that we found Anarita as it has all of these things.
What makes this Apartment unique
The quiet village environment is an excellent base for your visits to the hustle and bustle of the busier tourist spots in the area. If Bar Street in Paphos suits some of your party while others want a quiet drink on the terrace, you have a choice! With comfortable terraces, three pools to choose from and tavernas just round the corner you don't have to leave the village if you want to stay home while others go sightseeing or play their sport. My husband can help you with your golf arrangements, I can help with tennis and my daughter with climbing. We have young grandchildren so we know where they like to go and we are very happy to lend you equipment, toys and books. Anarita is pretty and unspoilt, the sun usually shines and the apartment has everything you'll need for a happy holiday.

Great apartment, facilities and location
We stayed here for 2 weeks at the beginning of August, 2 couples the first week and then our daughters joined us for our last week. The accommodation was very clean and exactly as described and gave us the WOW factor. We were not overlooked which was lovely and we had a great view. There were no issues with getting a sun bed around the pool especially given it was the August holidays.
Judith and Alan have thought of everything for the holiday guest. There was a very useful full information pack, with additional road maps and books on Cyprus. They also had a number of books, DVD's and games available. They provided a picnic bag and freezer blocks, which were invaluable.
From the apartment there are a number of great places to get to easily. We would recommend walking into the village and having a meal at Olivio's restaurant, fantastic food and service.
We will definitely be going back.
We are so pleased that you enjoyed staying in our apartment. We try to think of the small things that are important when you are away from home and can make such a difference when you are travelling light. We look forward to seeing you again.
Another excellent stay
We were delighted to be able to stay at Judith and Alan's lovely property again this year which yet again provided excellent value, being very well maintained and clean throughout. The terrace is always a favourite of our family, providing great views ,particularly at sunset.
Feeling more energetic this year, we undertook a number of Judith's suggested walks taking in the reservoir valley and enjoyed these hugely.
Eating out regularly we visited Gabriel's at Kouklia on several occasions where a convivial atmosphere always obtains and as usual found both the food and service exemplary. Ever reliable but more local, Olivio's was even more of a treat with the high standards we enjoyed last year being maintained.
As last year we would recomend this property for a number of reasons: clean, well equipped, quiet, excellent views and well maintained throughout.
We are so pleased that you enjoyed your return visit. It's a great base for walking, especially when the weather is a bit cooler. We look forward to seeing you again.
Outstanding apartment in excellent location
As a family of four including sons 21 and 23, we stayed at Alan and Judith's incredibly well equipped apartment in August and found it to contain absolutely everything needed for a relaxing (post graduation) holiday; corkscrews to beach umbrellas ! The entire apartment was spotless with a huge lounge area and two very comfortable couches and was very well maintained throughout. Stuart, who managed the property was very friendly and although we did not need to engage him in respect of any problems ,were confident that he would have dealt with issues promptly. The pool area was very well maintained and clean and whilst we were there, not over busy.
The roominess ensured that each individual could relax in their own way, be it reading/sunbathing on the huge penthouse style terrace or catching the first match of the season on the satellite TV!. We regularly ate out on the terrace and enjoyed the exceptional views and the balmy evenings .Judith's advice on the quiet local beach at Timi , best restaurants and shops proved unfailingly reliable . We used Gabriel's Taverna in Kouklia on several evenings which is traditional , very busy and best booked in advance and Olivio's in Anarita village which is in walking distance. The service and quality at Olivio's was outstanding and pre dinner drinks in the lounge proved a particular favourite for all of us. I have already recommended this outstanding apartment to a colleague and also to our closest friends. We look forward to returning there very soon.
We are delighted that you enjoyed staying in the apartment so much that you have recommended it to others and plan to return yourselves. The views are indeed exceptional, from the rolling hills, to the fields, to the different colours of the sea. It's a perfect place to relax and unwind. We look forward to seeing you again.
Our favourite holiday destination
We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) and this is our third holiday to Cyprus staying in this apartment - we love it! It is in a fantastic location for visiting the Pafos area of Cyprus and further afield. We have always hired a car and it is easy to travel around. The apartment is spacious and always very clean. Judith and Alan are very friendly and have provided everything you might need for your stay - A fully equipped kitchen, DVDs and books and even folding chairs, buckets and spades and a cool bag for the trips to the beach. The pools on site are lovely for swimming, playing in or relaxing by. We have never found the pool to be crowded - often we have had it to ourselves. The location is peaceful and the balconies have fantastic views. In the evenings you can sit out on the larger balcony and watch the sun go down. We would highly recommend this apartment..
We are so pleased that your family enjoy staying in our apartment and that you chose to come back again this summer! We never tire of the sea and country views from the balconies, especially of the amazing sunsets. I'm writing this on a beautiful October afternoon, temperature 28 degrees, blue skies, swimming pool beckoning - autumn is perfect here. We hope to see you again.
Fantastic apartment with great facilities and lovely pool area with scenic surroundings
We stayed in Alan & Judith's luxurious apartment for 2 weeks at the beginning of July with our two sons (aged 18 & 20). You couldn't ask for more when it comes to an apartment. The apartment has all the facilities that you would require and the outdoor area is ideal with lovely views of the surrounding area. Undercover car parking is provided which is great for the hot days that await you! The pool area is beautiful with well kept gardens all around. For the first week we had the pool to ourselves and in the second week it was only used by the odd family here and there. A car is required to get about but everywhere is easy to get to from a decent size supermarket being a 5-10 min drive away or Paphos town 20 mins. The roads where very quiet and we found it very easy travelling around Paphos and surrounding areas. The are a couple of bars, shop and a fanatastic restaraunt (Olivio's, well worth a visit) within walking distance. Overall a fantastic holiday and would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
We are delighted that you had a fantastic holiday and found everything you needed in the apartment. Our wonderful weather and the quiet roads makes travelling around the Paphos area a great pleasure. Thank you very much for recommending the apartment; we hope to see you again.
Spectacular terrace view
This was the fourth time we stayed in this comfortable and well-maintained flat. And we are preparing for a fifth stay later this year. We love the terrace with the spectacular view of the suroundings including the sunsets into the sea. The three well equipped bedrooms have made it possible to invite friends outside the family to come and stay for a while. The kitchen with all necessary utensiles makes it easy to live an everyday life in preparing the fresh food from the well sorted supermarket fairly close to the village.
We are delighted that you feel at home in our apartment and that we'll see you again later in the year for your annual visit. We know that golf plays a big part in your lives when you are here and we feel very fortunate that we have three excellent golf courses within 15 minutes' drive. The views from the terrace are indeed spectacular!
There are several places to swim within 15 minutes' drive of the apartment. The beach used by many Anarita residents is Timi Beach about 10 minutes away. Here there is a beach cafe with great views in both directions along the coast and crystal clear water, where you may be lucky and see a turtle. The unspoilt coast at Mandria, also 10 minutes drive away and is great for walking. Further away are Pissouri to the east and to the west Geroskipou, Paphos and the popular sandy beach at Coral Bay.
Paphos airport is 10 minutes drive away. Year round flights come here from all over the UK and many places in Europe. Larnaca airport is 75 minutes away along the motorway with flights to here from Europe and the Middle East. Car hire is recommended from one of the many providers serving the airports to make the best of this rural location.

The apartment, Anarita, Paphos town and Paphos District have something for all age groups and for different interests within a party. Some of the party can play golf, while others swim, laze quietly on the beach / by the pool, visit a World Heritage Site, play tennis or go to a spa. In addition to this, it is an excellent area for walking, playing tennis, bird watching and rock climbing. As a family we enjoy all of these things and are happy to answer your questions about them.
There are hundreds of tavernas, cafes, restaurants and take aways in the area. In Anarita itself there are five within walking distance; one of which has a new outside play area for children and is one of our favourites when grandchildren come to stay.
Mandria, six minutes away, has an attractive village square with five more eating places to choose from, including an excellent taverna and a Cypriot fish and chip shop.
We live in Anarita and we have plenty of recommendations for places to eat in Geroskipou (10 minutes) and Paphos (15 minutes) - places for special occasions, places for a drink with a view, typical tavernas and for a budget conscious family meal. The Harbour in Paphos is one of our favourite places to go, have a meal and watch the world go by.
The highlights for visitors who enjoy historical sites are the Paphos Archaeological Park with its amazing mosaics, the Tomb of the Kings in Paphos and the Roman remains at Kourion. In addition there are many smaller sites, monasteries and churches.
Children of all ages (and their parents!) love the Paphos Waterpark and the Paphos Bird and Animal Park. There are all sorts of sea trips leaving from The Harbour in Paphos.
Aphrodite Hills is a beautiful five star resort nearby with a spa, children's play area, tennis, golf and many restaurants. Guests from outside the resort are welcome.
There are Anarita/Paphos buses.
