About Isabel Dalton
I am from the north of Spain, but have lived for almost 30 years in London with my English husband. Living in the UK the thing I miss most is the sun, particularly in winter. We have bought the house with a view to spending a lot of time here on retirement, but unfortunately that day has not yet arrived. We hope you love the house and area as much as we do.
Isabel Dalton purchased this House in 2011
Why Isabel Dalton chose Ronda
We were attracted to the area by the beautiful countryside and by the winter sun. Although Ronda is close to the coast it still has a very Spanish feel and there is a sense of space and tranquility in the area. At first we looked outside town, but when we found this house we felt it offered the best of both worlds, having a pool, great views, immediate access to the countryside plus all the convenience of town. A 3 minute walk in one direction and you are in the main shopping street, and 3 minutes in the other direction you are in open countryside. We want to visit a lot in the winter months when it gets cold at night so the log-fire and underfloor heating were a real attraction (many local properties are not well heated).
What makes this House unique

Lovely house in great location.
The house was clean, comfortable with all the necessities. The beds were very comfortable and It has a nice outside patio.
Beautiful Rhonda House
The house is good the town is good the location to town is excellent. The beds were comfortable the water was hot and showers were strong. The house was overall pretty dark inside. The pool was leaking generously into the garage and there was a mold smell in the garage. Sauna in garage unusable from mold. Isabel very responsive when we needed things. Wish there was more of a front deck to view the incredible old city but there’s always something. Overall I recommend the house for two couples as we were. Plenty of privacy.
I am glad that you enjoyed your stay despite the leak affecting the garage and sauna.
House is very lovely, with a great patio area for relaxing. Isabel is wonderful to work with and very accommodating. House has everything you need - great washer and dryer. Quiet neighborhood, an easy walk to store, restaurants and shopping. We had a wonderful time during our four days in Ronda.
Wonderful home in Ronda!
Very accommodating! Easy to find with GPS. All of the bedrooms were air conditioned, as well as the living room downstairs.. The swimming pool was a great bonus. A charming and spacious place to stay for our group of five adults. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Ronda!
Thank you for the kind review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay.
A beautiful property in an excellent location.
We had a fabulous time in this very well equipped house. It was in a lovely location- 5 minutes walk from wherever we wanted to be in Ronda but in a very peaceful neighbourhood.
Many thanks for taking the time to review the house; I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay. Isabel
Lovely terrace area
The house is v nice and the terrace and pool are great. lots of space out there and a decent sized pool for a house. All rooms had air conditioning. The only downside for us was trying to find the property which took us. about an hour.
Special interest holidays:
The countryside around Ronda is popular for its cycling, walking, bird-watching as well as more adventurous outdoor pursuits. We have 3 Bicycles available for guests' use and more can be hired from a shop within a few minutes walk. There is plenty of room in the garage to store bicycles or other equipment.
The coast is 47 km away. There are regular bus services for those not wishing to drive.
Malaga is the nearest airport (100km / about 1 hour 15 minutes drive). Seville and Jerez airports are just a bit further. The town has good train and bus services to a wide range of destinations so a car is not necessary, although of course a car does offer more flexibility. The house is within 10 minutes walk of both bus and train station as well as all the towns main sights and numerous shops, restaurants and bars.
New bridge/El Tajo, bull ring, Arabic baths, bus and train station all under 1km. Main shopping street 300 metres. Coast 47km. Malaga 100km. Sevilla .125 km.
The local countryside is very beautiful. There are many inexpensive local restaurants as well as a number of more elegant/formal ones at reasonable prices. Most of the main towns and attractions of Andalucia can be visited as a day trip from Ronda - Sevilla, Marbella, Cordoba, Jerez, Cadiz and Granada are all within easy reach.
